    Can't go wrong with Meade.
    I own a Meade refractor 1000mm focal length by 90mm apreture . My best telescope brand . These are not great for deep sky observing as the apreture is to small but definitely great value for money. I own an 12inch dobsonian which is excellent for the darkest skies . The bigger the apreture the more light enters the telescope , and the more light the deeper you can go in darker parts .

    I just up grade my telescope to Meade starnavigator 102 computerized, has a electric motor after alignment found everything for you, that little hand held connects to it and you are set, I want a Celestron Astromaster but was sold out. The Meade came with 2 cheap eye piece's, no eye relief, I got tele vue 2x Barlow and the Celestron zoom 8-24mm what a difference... Saturn and his rings, Jupiter and the colors and his moons...

    Hi. Love your channel. I have the celestron version of this telescope and was wondering how you aimed it at the planets. This is the first time I’m doing this and am having some trouble finding the planets through the telescope

      With small scopes like this it is hard to find small objects but is possible. You just have to take your time and I recommend making sure your scope is in focus before searching. If its not in focus you will have a hard time finding things!

    Is there anyway to enhance the view of this telescope by adding quality eye pieces and Barlow? Will all-in-one zoom eye piece work in the entry level Telescope??

    • @2dudesastronomy40
      @2dudesastronomy40  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You could do that but those may be more expensive than this telescope its self! All in one eye piece with zoom is a life saver!

    Hi, this is nice video, but I have a question about this telescope.
    How can we see saturn's rings through this telescope 50mm at its objectif ? And we can't see the rings through binoculars 70mm(the 15x70 or the 25x70)?

    • @2dudesastronomy40
      @2dudesastronomy40  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can see its rings with this telescope and with binoculars depending where you live and sky conditions!

    • @nicerperson1
      @nicerperson1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on the eyepiece - with a 50mm objective and a 25mm lens you get about 10x, with a 10mm you get about 25x and a 5mm about 50x, then with a 2x Barlow you will have maximum 100x zoom. The binoculars they have are the 15x70 so they will get a sharper, brighter image, but a fixed magnification.

    Can you see the constellations? My friend loves astrology and want to see if this would be good for him

    • @Astrogator1
      @Astrogator1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      no, they are groups of stars, most of which wont fit in the field of view . want to see constellations, go out under dark sky and look up. bring sky map ... app on smart phone or paper.
      BUT ASTROLOGY ... really, go back to the asylum, astrology is illogical woo for insecure people

    • @2dudesastronomy40
      @2dudesastronomy40  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is better for near by planets! I would recommend the binoculars for wide view viewing as you can see a lot more sky with two eyes vs one! But that also depends on the size of the constellation ect!

    • @2dudesastronomy40

    • @neshym6469
      @neshym6469 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm clueless about telescopes, the reason I asked is because it appeared as though you coul only see the moon and rings of Saturn so I wanted to find out what other 'objects' if I may put it that way, are you able to see with this telescope apart from the moon and the rings so Saturn
