Love the variety of your channel. I’m an Old Guy so I would like to also see scenic videos of places to ride. Riding through Yellow Stone Park,Streets of New York,France,Africa,etc. At my age I want to be able to also have a leisurely ride while getting Cardio in and enjoying the sights! Nice seeing your channel stretching out to new & different areas of Tech!❤👴🏽
Yeah, every once a while something still comes up beyond the home theater realm, and I wasn't going to say no to this one because it fit directly with some personal needs and goals. I've already stacked up a dozen home workouts just since vacation that wouldn't have been workouts at all if I had to leave the house to do them.
@@Techthusiasm Since my Wife passed away I’ve basically become a Recluse. I don’t have company nor visit anyone. I try not to leave the house unless it’s absolutely necessary. So I try to have all my necessities at home. Gym is totally out the question for me. Movies,Music & Video Games are my daily escape. This is why I would prefer scenic videos on the bike. It gets me out the house to see the World!😂👴🏽

i use apple fitness + . can i stream my apple fitness + from my phone to the screen on the bike?
Anything on the screen of the phone can be shown on the screen of the bike. It's basically just USB to HDMI output.

Do you need a membership to use the screen cast?
I believe the casting works fine without any subscription. The sub gets you access to programs in the app.
@Techthusiasm thanks for replying to my message. I received my G1M plus yesterday, and it tells me that to unlock the screen mirroring, I need an active membership. To say I'm frustrated is an understatement. Especially when I've seen others just plug their devices and achieve screen mirroring at no additional cost
@@MRanda-so9yo My bike hasn't arrived yet, but I checked the Yesoul support site and in the section for screen mirroring it says nothing about requiring a membership. It says "unlimited streaming" and "with a wide range of applications via cable". There is an asterisk there, but it's for Android phones requiring display port support to work, nothing about subscription requirement. I'd try contacting them if I were you, because it's downright misleading if that feature actually requires a subscription.
The casting thing really isn't even casting. It's just a USBC to HDMI cable that plugs into the display from your phone or tablet. It is surprising that doesn't just work freely.
I'm not even sure how it would be technically possible unless there's functionality in the screen itself to keep track of subscription status and disable the port. I've seen plenty of reviews where people mirror the phone's home screen with no app even running. Mine is set to arrive on Monday, so I shall soon find out, I guess. One thought is that it might be related to the app and it using bike telemetry, but then the image would be showing up so... I dunno. It sounds strange.
to others watching this thinking of buying this bike, DONT DO IT. The current models do not offer HDMI connection (only USB-c) and as a result you will have to pay a monthly fee to use the monitor

Yeah, this is a scam. They do not make the HDMI version with free screen casting anymore. You have to pay to use the app for screen casting and the HDMI port is removed. Not worth the buy.
This is just another paid content, DONT BUY this bike it requires subscription to use mirroring function.
