This is the $2500 Peloton, what most people consider to be the Best there is, and this is a $500 Alternative. The price should be enough to lead anyone to believe one is better than the other, but what if I told you that's not the case? What if the alternative is not just more affordable, but also better in many ways than the Peloton? Well there's only one way to find out.
On one corner we have the Peloton Bike+, the company's most versatile bike ever as it's technically not just an indoor cycle. On the other we have the Yesoul G1M Plus, the company's best offering, and also a flexible approach to giving you more than just cycling solutions.
When YESOUL reached out to partner for this video, I told them I already owned the first generation Peloton that's currently $1000 cheaper, and that it would be enough for a comparison, but nope. They insisted on sending me the most expensive Peloton just to prove that their G1M Plus can compete against the best of the best, and I accepted because they're watching this video at the same time as you are. I'm allowed full creative control to give you the pros and cons of both after a week of testing them. I'm Jaime Rivera with Pocketnow and let's dive into our comparison.

So as someone who has the Yesoul for a year here is my take. I ordered it in December, it was delivered in February they seem to be blaming shipping not sure if it's true or not. The UI on the side is in kilometers no way of changing that, you are stuck with it even if you get a Google tv dongle which I have. Their app also sucks it doesn't have ability to cast on TV so checking cadence and etc only works if you plug your phone in thru HDMI to USBC which sucks. I got it for $399 which originally was $499 but they have these never ending sales codes that make it $399. There is no button to power off the bike but I usually unplug so no major issues for me. Now for $399 is it worth it, to me it's doable the wait for almost 3 months made me concerned and is something you have to take into account you can search up others with these long waits as well but they bribe you with 1 year subscription of their app. It works with zwift as well so that was a bonus for me.
I purchased the Yesoul G1M Plus in March and received it within 5 days, so the shipping was quite fast. I had seen on forums before that there were delays in shipping due to a surge in sales, but now it seems to be back to normal!

Just got my hands on the YESOUL G1M Plus last month and so far, everything's been fantastic. In terms of value for money, it absolutely outshines Peloton, in my opinion. The free screen casting feature has me over the moon. Loving it!

Hey there! Very well done! I have a question: on Amazon I saw the Yesoul S3 Black Excercise Bike but with a mount for a tablet rather than a screen already installed/included. Is the S3 essentially the same bike as the one you reviewed but without the screen?
Great comparison. I'm using a Tacx smart trainer, with a Zwift subscription and have never looked back. Always shop around for what works for your pocket! 😎👌
I also have a Tacx smart, but paying the subscription service removes the smart, if you do the math on long term it is not good nor smart for the pocket. I think that with 3 years of tacx sub 15$ monthly you can get a new bike, sounds like wasted money.

Great review, although it looks like almost all of the reviews of this bike on TH-cam are paid/sponsored ones, which always makes me a little suspicious. I'm also seeing posts on Reddit saying that the ship times can be extremely long, especially for those not in the US (eg: "ordered in December, it arrived in February")
I've been looking for a good exercise bike and now I'm torn - do I risk the Yesoul, or do I pay a little more and go with a Schwinn IC4...?
Couldn't agree more! Yesoul offers better value for money compared to Peloton, and the user experience is fantastic. Plus, the monthly membership fee is only $9.9! I'm absolutely loving it.
I use iFit on a large tablet and the bluetooth syncs with my bike and controls the resistance automatically! £10 per month and a £400 proform bike.
I've owned my Yesoul (S3 I think?) for 2 years now and I haven't had any issues with it. Super solid value. I mostly just watch Netflix while I bike though 😁

Probably rumor fatigue. The channel now seems to be quality > quantity. The videos are always good but new ones like this are in a league of their own. You can hear the joy in his voice knowing he’s working at a comfortable pace. News is still being updated daily on their website tho

Damn the bots hounded on this video’s comment. Wish I would’ve seen this bike when I was looking for Peloton bikes for my wife. Luckily I went with a lightly used Peloton for about $800 that looked brand new instead of going for a brand new Bike. I would have to say, the software and UI on the Peloton is pretty nice.

In fact, I have experienced both, but I think Yesoul is superior. I only need to spend $500 to buy Yesoul, which is not inferior to Peleton. Isn't it amazing that such a high cost performance?

By any chance do you know if it works with Zwift?
Yes I use it however you have to either plug into to USB C to HDMi cable that comes with it or cast screen share as zwift doesn't natively support screen casting.
I’m actually looking for a new bike.. I discovered that my cheap $180 Amazon bike I’ve been using has a fatal flaw: The pedals are way too far apart.
I ended up buying it. But the pocketnow discount code didn’t work. I just used the one on their site banner that gave the same amount off.

Jaime, with all due respect, this is not something that should be on this channel. I, and many others, follow this channel to stay up to date with latest phone, tablet and notebook news, hence the name “POCKETnow”.
He has talked about more than phones and tablets before, he has talked about TV's, Computers, Chairs, Cameras, even Electric Cars that were at some shows.
While it's not a phone, the bike pairs and works with multiple kinds of mobile devices. It could easily be considered as an accessory to your phone / tablet / smartwatch... and therefore relevant to at least a portion of the audience here.
