Just got my hands on the YESOUL G1M Plus last month and so far, everything's been fantastic. In terms of value for money, it absolutely outshines Peloton, in my opinion. The free screen casting feature has me over the moon. Loving it!
So as someone who has the Yesoul for a year here is my take. I ordered it in December, it was delivered in February they seem to be blaming shipping not sure if it's true or not. The UI on the side is in kilometers no way of changing that, you are stuck with it even if you get a Google tv dongle which I have. Their app also sucks it doesn't have ability to cast on TV so checking cadence and etc only works if you plug your phone in thru HDMI to USBC which sucks. I got it for $399 which originally was $499 but they have these never ending sales codes that make it $399. There is no button to power off the bike but I usually unplug so no major issues for me. Now for $399 is it worth it, to me it's doable the wait for almost 3 months made me concerned and is something you have to take into account you can search up others with these long waits as well but they bribe you with 1 year subscription of their app. It works with zwift as well so that was a bonus for me.
I purchased the Yesoul G1M Plus in March and received it within 5 days, so the shipping was quite fast. I had seen on forums before that there were delays in shipping due to a surge in sales, but now it seems to be back to normal!
If you go into the app you can change it from km to mi in the settings. I have the previous g1 elephant that has the 32" screen which has no hdmi input which stinks since the screen isn't great quality and the app and courses are okay. I got a year for like $60 which for $5 bucks a month is super cheap. I've used friends peloton and the app/courses are amazing but not sure if its worth the monthly cost difference. I mainly use it in the winter or when its too hot or late to go for a walk. I wish I could just get the new screen and use that cause hdmi input would be amazing.
@@jschmidt96 yeb that's for the app like the display but not the black bar km that's standard with the bike even they confirmed without connecting the app it's stuck to KM.
I got my bike (YESOUL G1M PLUS) on Sunday (9/1/2024), used their assembly video to put it together. Tried it out today and there are a few issues. First, while riding the bike it will not show RPM, W (Wattage), MI (Miles, Distance), and the resistance keeps freezing up during use. Second, the screen that came with my bike is not the same one in THIS video, it DOES NOT and a HDMI port on the back only USB-C (so the Chromecast option won't work). I does come with the cables to attach your android or apple device, but as stated in other post it REQUIRES a subscription now ($12.99 a month or $69.99 a year). That's discounted down from $19.99 and $239.99. I bought it with the purpose of using the Chromecast idea so I will probably be returning it.
Great comparison. I'm using a Tacx smart trainer, with a Zwift subscription and have never looked back. Always shop around for what works for your pocket! 😎👌
I also have a Tacx smart, but paying the subscription service removes the smart, if you do the math on long term it is not good nor smart for the pocket. I think that with 3 years of tacx sub 15$ monthly you can get a new bike, sounds like wasted money.
Couldn't agree more! Yesoul offers better value for money compared to Peloton, and the user experience is fantastic. Plus, the monthly membership fee is only $9.9! I'm absolutely loving it.
BUYERS BEWARE. You used to be able to screen mirror without subscription but they changed the screen and this is no longer possible. That was a huge selling feature for me so I'll be returning the bike.
Hey there! Very well done! I have a question: on Amazon I saw the Yesoul S3 Black Excercise Bike but with a mount for a tablet rather than a screen already installed/included. Is the S3 essentially the same bike as the one you reviewed but without the screen?
Probably rumor fatigue. The channel now seems to be quality > quantity. The videos are always good but new ones like this are in a league of their own. You can hear the joy in his voice knowing he’s working at a comfortable pace. News is still being updated daily on their website tho
I've owned my Yesoul (S3 I think?) for 2 years now and I haven't had any issues with it. Super solid value. I mostly just watch Netflix while I bike though 😁
They sent me this bike (non hdmi) and I love it. I paid the $60 for 13 months which is the cheapest subscription I have. I'm able to use my iphone ipad and my galaxy S24 ultra. They now have a row machine for the same price and I kinda want to try it. Good review my friend
In fact, I have experienced both, but I think Yesoul is superior. I only need to spend $500 to buy Yesoul, which is not inferior to Peleton. Isn't it amazing that such a high cost performance?
Great review, i wonder if you could pair your Garmin watch to view your heart rate on the Yesoul bike screen? Could you also tell me if you can adjust the handle bars on the peloton and Yesoul back and forth? please.
This is a Really informative review, but still not sure. Ive read horrible reviews abt the shipping process and customer service. Also, whenever ive seen anyone reviewing this bike and they're on it, it looks very wobbly. Also, is it true that you cannot change distance settings from kilometers? Can you comment on these things?
Yes I use it however you have to either plug into to USB C to HDMi cable that comes with it or cast screen share as zwift doesn't natively support screen casting.
Damn the bots hounded on this video’s comment. Wish I would’ve seen this bike when I was looking for Peloton bikes for my wife. Luckily I went with a lightly used Peloton for about $800 that looked brand new instead of going for a brand new Bike. I would have to say, the software and UI on the Peloton is pretty nice.
Yesoul bike offers excellent value for money, priced at just $499 with a monthly membership fee of $9.9. Their after-sales service has also impressed me greatly! I love it!
Given your budget and weight loss goals, Yesoul Indoor Bike provides me an affordable option at $399 with code, along with a $9.9/month subscription fee, much lower than Peloton's $44/month, saving you money over time.😊
This comparison video provides such valuable insights! It's refreshing to see an honest breakdown of the Peloton Bike+ and the Yesoul G1M Plus. It's clear that YESOUL is dedicated to proving the quality and value of their G1M Plus bike!
Dont buy this yesoul bike, the new model G1M plus needs subscription to activate the bike. The 21.5” screen shows your speed, cadence cal burn and time it will not record your activity unless you pay/subscribe. Big screen is useless if you got the usb c input connection.
That's right, a subscription is now required, costing $59 per year for full access to Yesoul's courses and screen casting function. I still bought it because, overall, it’s a great deal. Most fitness programs require a subscription, and Peloton is just too expensive for me.
@henryliu5566 Along the same vein I could tell you to stop texting and commenting to us through your phone or computer and to get outside and talk to real people face to face.
Jaime, with all due respect, this is not something that should be on this channel. I, and many others, follow this channel to stay up to date with latest phone, tablet and notebook news, hence the name “POCKETnow”.
He has talked about more than phones and tablets before, he has talked about TV's, Computers, Chairs, Cameras, even Electric Cars that were at some shows.
While it's not a phone, the bike pairs and works with multiple kinds of mobile devices. It could easily be considered as an accessory to your phone / tablet / smartwatch... and therefore relevant to at least a portion of the audience here.
@uros2909 I mean for real... Who are you to tell the creator of the content what he should be doing. In his in own description of his page content he mentions fitness and then goes on to say beyond. Just ordered one, how was assembly?
@@fullerinoI followed the installation video and the process went smoothly.
How's the wobbles when riding?
Never wanted a bike until I watched this video lol
Looks like the Yesoul is slightly more pocketable
That's interesting! Getting a bike like this for $400 seems like quite a steal!
a heads up to anyone watching, this product does not work for free as advertised. you need to pay for subscription to make the screen work
😮😮😮
K, but isn't that the case with all of them? And they cost way more?

@@Oujmsksomdomd I would have gone with a bike that didn't have a screen and used youtube for the plethora of free videos out there
Awesome! I'm torn between Yesoul and Peloton. I ended up buying Yesoul, hope it won't let me down.
Did you get the bike?
Update?
I have last years G1S + while I have never owned a peloton the YESOUL feels like a solid bike
Your *trick* just bought me over! You’re the first reviewer to add a chromecast to the display! You’re a genius!🎉
How do I purchase with your code/link so you get some credit?

After watching your video, I decided to buy Yesoul, it looks really good!
I bought it too, and it’s really not bad at all.
What about resistance? Is it enough 6.5kg flywheel? I see a lot comments that say it’s very light?
Totally love spinning on my Yesoul indoor bike; it keeps workouts super engaging. If you're hunting for a solid bike, Yesoul comes highly recommended!
Can you let me know if the speakers of this iPhone 15 plus are good please?
Thanks man
Does the yesoul app have strava integration? I like keeping my mountain bike rides in the same place as the stationary rides.
Loving my Yesoul indoor bike for workouts. It turned home exercise into pure fun. If you're eyeing a new bike, give Yesoul a solid look.
I use iFit on a large tablet and the bluetooth syncs with my bike and controls the resistance automatically! £10 per month and a £400 proform bike.
Did you say $500?!? I was just thinking about one of these the other day
I’m actually looking for a new bike.. I discovered that my cheap $180 Amazon bike I’ve been using has a fatal flaw: The pedals are way too far apart.
I ended up buying it. But the pocketnow discount code didn’t work. I just used the one on their site banner that gave the same amount off.
After what Peloton did to Theo Von, I'd throw their crap on the curb.
In fact, I have experienced both, but I think Yesoul is superior. I only need to spend $500 to buy Yesoul, which is not inferior to Peleton. Isn't it amazing that such a high cost performance?
I agree, Peloton is just too expensive. I can’t afford it
Free subscription on the copyright model ?
Great review, i wonder if you could pair your Garmin watch to view your heart rate on the Yesoul bike screen? Could you also tell me if you can adjust the handle bars on the peloton and Yesoul back and forth? please.
Okay, I mean I also don't do the classes with weights - but they're not meant for weight training as much as increasing cardio output.

I bought the G1M, and it lets you switch between miles and kilometers. You might want to email them to confirm this.
im in asutralia nd use KM ive had the bike for a week and it shows miles haha
Still using my old traditional bike. See the great outdoors better for me.
I’d agree if I didn’t have to deal with grueling winters or horrible summers. This is a good alternative to that
Is it Zwift compatible?
thanks for the great review.. I ended up ordering one but your discount code didn’t work.. luckily they had a public code at the top of their page
Can't get the discount code to work

Yes I use it however you have to either plug into to USB C to HDMi cable that comes with it or cast screen share as zwift doesn't natively support screen casting.
Peloton bike and row is amazing. Help me become active immensely. Kendall is awesome if you're into Punk or Metal!
