As my friend Siddhartha taught me: thinking; waiting; listening to the river-the way to understanding. Lust for unnecessary things of the world clouds what is of value and holy in life. Need I say, I enjoyed your video…

I also use the WANDRD 21L bag since I minimalised my photography gear. And wide angle 4 drone = really [I agree]. For a pano you can always ‘stitch’ another 2-3 images. Again, another well crafted informative vid. Cheers 🏴
Great subject Ted. For gear and for life. We like to go backpacking...when you are weighing your toothbrush before deciding if it goes, you know you are doing some critical thinking about what's really necessary! I'm a believer that our physical possessions all carry some emotional weight (or importance), even mundane stuff. Less stuff, less emotional weight, more ability to be present and fully experience life. I'm gonna check out that book!
Hey Ted! Another excellent video sir, bloody love it, the humour really got to me! Very much enjoyed the semi mini truck 3 charging past at lightening speed 😂 A lot of wisdom there too, you have shown a mastery of minimalism, something I strive for although not quite as successful, but the necessity of living in a van helps and I'm very much not missing a house full of crap. Your motorcycle is a beaut! And I love the leather work, so cool! Really nice to see your channel grow, very well deserved, and congrats on the sponsor! 🙌
@@TedNemeth I did, not sure if you saw my reply on my channel, but great to hear you surf too! I'm very much a beginner still after kitesurfing the last ten years or so. Where do you surf? I've just been on a road/surf trip to South of Spain, soo good! Thinking possibly Morocco next.

Thanks for sharing. It’s quite a share from you - appreciated Great video, so true, I regularly sift through my kit. I use my GoPro hard case for my drone - works a treat! Got the same watch too!
Love seeing how organized you are with your gear, I am definitely one of those who tends to throw things around in the bag, especially when doing quick changes to chase the low light. One case I'll make for the widescreen lens is when shooting for social in the city (while keeping it under 400 ft) it really helps to expand what you'll get into a 1080x1920 (portrait) format, for me it's made a pretty big difference. Of course I do try to plan it so I'm not rushing and flying back to add it, etc.
Eric I just watched your client reel. You ABSOLUTELY killed it brother. DAMN that must feel amazing to have overdelivered when it came time for you to step up and really perform. Those shots are sick ma man. Thank you for sharing.

Great video! You are so right. I was buying everything I saw on the tube. I have a back room full of crap I Never use. Have my one ND 16 and that’s it.
Ted, in terms of value this video together with " The worlds greatest drone" is the best you've provided to us so far. Man, it's still better to just use what you have and have fun and create something nice, instead of waiting for something better and nicer and newer and sitting at home doing nothing. Even if you don't have the "right" backpack or camera bag or no bag at all, take a simple plastic bag for that one day, but go out and use what you have. This is the content we need instead of another review of bloody stupid drone water landing sticks.
Hey Ted, I'm really enjoying your Drone Cinematography MasterClass, very well put together and easily understandable - learning heaps and looking forward to putting it into practice. I was wondering if in one of your up coming videos, you could explain, and give examples of what situations you might use AE lock to stop exposure changes in your footage and why? I truly appreciate the time, effort, and personality you put into all your videos. Thank you.
First off, let me say I enjoy all your videos I’ve watched so far 👍 However, when it comes to product recommendations, in particular the “First Power” extended drone battery, I’d just like to point out a few negatives: 1. Their drone batteries do not support DJI firmware updated (which are required by the FAA), so that means you need to have a DJI battery in the drone to do the updates. [That info was also listed on Amazon by the company] 2. Their batteries, according to the company’s own info, discharge quickly flying in temperatures below 10C (that 51F) which is ridiculous. DJI’s extended battery specs show operating temps as low as -10C (14F) and charging temps as low as 5C (41F). They (FirstPower) even address this i temperature issue in their FAQs. 3. The most important issue, if you crash your drone with a non OEM battery, DJI most likely will not cover any warranty you have, and if your crash causes the FAA to be involved, you might find yourself with some hefty fines just for not having the drone up to specs. One last thing, which isn’t necessarily a make or break deal but, on FirstPower’s Amazon page, they list the weight of the battery at 119 grams (twice) but also at 137 grams (twice), so I’m thinking they have quality control issues at least in their marketing department, and possibly in other areas (engineering, production, ???).
I switched to a iPad Pro M1 refurbished from Apple directly and I have zero issues it absolutely replaces a laptop IMHO, I like your kit. If you’re ever in southern Philippines Davao City area you’re always welcome. FYI Swatch’s rule !
Sam that’s exactly what i was thinking…a refurb M1, because I want to switch to Final Cut Pro. And yes i am definitely going to visit Philippines & India. Let’s stay in touch.

Also have a pocket 2 for land filming. I still need a couple of things, a good mic is next on the list as I'm using more audio on my films now. Cheers for the insight Ted. Davey
