This is a very simple install..pop off the intake and slap her in its place assuming you have the proper tensioner and supporting mods..The inlet is. It an issue at all just simply connect the linkage 🤷♂️.. if you are still unsure check out Mustang Magic in Deer Park NY (a bit far from fl I know but they are very good and one of the best ford shops in the country) I trust them and they do great work
its belt driven... install it yourself. also get urself a water to water incooler kit from zzp performance. u can find it under the grand prix section obviously cause its a m90 blower... ur gonna get heat soaked like mad with that massive 4.6 and heat plus blowers is soooooooo bad
@Tristan HopkinsName refers to cubic inches of air per rotation. M90 being 90ci and 112, 122 etc etc. Also ford picked the m112 for their cars. They werent just made for ford. Jag used them on the xk series. M90s were even used on aston martins.
@Tristan Hopkins smaller blower but the smaller rotor packs have better efficiency at high rpm than an m112 and as long as you can fight the heat with a good intercooler/meth you can support good power. The superchargers they sell for 05-10 3v 4.6 is still a eaton m90 rotor pack and the Gen v m90 is more efficient than a Max ported Gen 3 and has seen 400hp on a 3.8 with a simple plate style intercooler. On a fmic with meth you can get away with some stupid pulley ratios and get 8-10psi on a 4.6 2v.
@Tristan Hopkins Well if by pi you mean performance improved then yes I'd say they were improved to see lower iat's with a less restrictive outlet. The inlet porting varies a lot between them but I believe the Magnuson Powers case (mp90) is being used for big hp applications because with the stock rotor pack, you can turn the blower over 20k rpm without losing efficiency. When compared to a cobra 112, they are not the most safe above 15k rpm with 17k being considered the limit. Obviously 90ci at 20+k rpm is more airflow than 112ci at 15-16k but there's more heat with the blower beating the air around. That's why I feel sourcing Gen v m90s for cheap is smarter and could lead to me building a remote blower kits for 96-04 2v mustangs Vic's and other modular powered cars. Honestly if a solid 330-400rwhp is wanted on a budget, the Gen v can handle it and I can get gen3 m90s all day for 100$ if anyone wants a few which are still good for 350whp without a crazy amount of work.
Dude has serious drawing skills, I'm absolutely blown away (no pun intended) by the talent. He deserves shekels. Been waiting for this video, knew you were super cereal.
The super charger setup is fairly easy to install if you have a weekend and all the parts laid down... 4.6 engines are about $2 at any junkyard, bolt this on your engine now and have fun at low boost as you build a junk yard motor, then swap and have fun. The worst thing you can do is take your project down during summer... you’ll just be upset that you’re loosing drive time. There’s a ton of extra parts and even a super low budget 4.6 build will end up costing you over $2k for proper internals. Drive now, get extra engine, be happy you didn’t stop driving.
For any late model ford I’d recommend injected engineering tbh. They’re super cool guys and they have done tons of builds varying in horsepower ranges. But they’re who I took my lightning to after I put cams, ported supercharger and some pulleys on it. They’re up in Kennesaw Georgia.
Also, you do not need to flip the intake on the supercharger just relocate the air intake tube to the other side to accomodate the SC. the only thing you will have to do for that is extend your MAF connector. A mustang CAI will probably work.
I live in middle Tennessee my car was build by DBR high performance in Springhill Tennessee not far from Nashville they did a great job installing a supercharger the build tune fabricate look in to then you won't be disappointed!

Ive got a m90 remote kit Im throwing together for my 96 stang and i will say, your bestbet is gunna be meth to help with the heat if you cant use an intercooler. A pulley ratio of 2.35 is gunna give u about 8lbs of boost on a 4.6 2v so better get a pulley puller. For my build, i decided on a lightning lower pulley which bolts onto the stock crank pulley which moves the blowers serpantine further forward (a must when using a gen3 or gen 5 m90 from a gtp) and you can get some crazy blower drive ratios so long as u can deal with the heat some way.
I just started following your channel and I'm liking your projects you have going on. If you don't mind traveling, I would recommend Realspeed in bohemia, long island, New York. The owners name is Dan Carlson, or even I can do the fabrication you need as well as the engine. I've made complete supercharger setups from scratch, from roots syle eatons, centrifugal vortec and Paxton novi's, as well as from scratch turbo kits, manifolds to intercooler setups, hand made aluminum intake manifolds and cnc'd intake manifolds as well. I'd love to do a project like this. I just don't know if I have the time, otherwise I'd be all over it. That's why i recommended you to Realspeed, but I can help you out if you're a little flexible on time. I'm not saying it'll take forever, but it would probably take me a couple weeks longer on the build because of my move going on right now. If you need some help hit me up, it looks like a fun project. I'm always happy to help a ford guy. I was also a senior master ford tech, completely certified in ford and ase. I've fabricated some real cool stuff from ford 302 pushrod motor setups, modular setups, ecoboost 2.0 and 2.3, as well as my own personal and customers nissan GT-R R35 parts and a lot of other platforms. So if you don't have anyone yet or anything set in stone hit me up and I'd love to see if I can help out another ford lover, especially with a cool project like this.
I had a Series II on my '05 Mercury. Here's the thing, the M90 is way too small to make any real power on a 2V. It can't keep up. My Series II was a Magnuson MP90 with a more efficiant 21st Century intercooler, and maxed out with a 2.6" pulley, it could only belch out 320 whp & 360 whp. A Series 1 will be likely to get 300 at the wheels.
I'm in Indy, so no help on Nashville-area shops. My 2 cents: Stick to 6-8 psi and get 350 HP. I have a Impala SS with a LS2 rated at 360 HP and it is a blast to drive and very reliable. A forged lower end will set you back at least $5,000.

Get the heads line hone and port/polish. Then do cams, try to max the lift on the intake and exhaust. After that do a full exhaust system with long tube headers to get maxim torque. Then when you are done with that strengthen the bottom end of the motor block.
Middle TN? I thought you lived in Orlando... I'm smack between Nashville and Memphis. Haven't found anyone around here that does Fords... but this was 10 months too.
Nice build broham good luck with and yea I heard of Marty tune I was gone get it on my Vic but mines started falling apart so I'm just going for another car
You don't need to forge anything with that supercharger. It won't produce enough boost to put you into a power range that would require it. Cams and a tune is all you need. Todd Warren with Bullet cams would be you your best option.
I know it’s not in Tennessee but I would recommend fast lane motor sports in benson North Carolina. Full mustang performance shop with LOADS of experience and will take care of you 👍
I'm happy for you and everything. And when it's all done it's going to be the sweetest vic out there (besides project Bathory) but I was really hoping to see it get built up NA to its fullest potential. Because I saw a project nightmare I wanted to know if that was true. At least everything but boring the engine. But you know supercharging still going to give you way more bang for your buck then all that. I'm not going to supercharge project Bathory yet. I built it up on TH-cam soon it'll be basic mods that'll actually show results. And at the end all of it people can see for themselves what works what doesn't work. I've been a big fan of your channel for a long time. I can't wait to see this all come together it's going to be a blast.
I don't know how close you are to Clarksville, but one of the smartest guys I know when it comes to cars is a guy named Chris Robarge. He works at a shop called Classic Restorations. He could definitely help you out.
Bump the boost up. She will be fine with a solid tune at higher boost. I'm running 10 on my everyday tune and 13 pounds on e85 for an all out tune. All on the 130k mile stock bottom end. I'm also in the process of building a basic motor that will be good for 750 HP. Best part is that build is only about $1500 in parts.
I agree people need not worry as much about milage and boost worry more about making sure your tune is spot on and you run the best fuel possible and DONT CHEAP OUT on fueling upgrades thats the number one way ppl fuck shit up when boosting their ride. That stuff matters way more than running a little more boost or having 100k+. On these modern fords long as its maintained well you should be good...do fuel mods and cooling mods...add 10-12 psi depending what fuel youre running and MAKE sure you have a good tune from a good tuner...the end lol
I would go with Kurgan Motorsports out of Atlanta. I know it’s a ways away from Tennessee but they are great and have been doing stuff for quite a while.
Everytime i see your videos with your crown vics it makes me so jelous. I have a 2001 Marquis that i stopped working on due to financial restrictions haha. With a quality Tune you should be able to run around 10lbs of boost just fine. but the reliability is ALL in the tune.
I was thinking about getting a super charger too I didn’t know which one to order
Middle TN? I thought you lived in Orlando... I'm smack between Nashville and Memphis. Haven't found anyone around here that does Fords... but this was 10 months too.
LSD + manual and this s/c 👌!!
That is my dream build
No, keep automatic..
TigreLoko24 what’s your reasoning?
This car already comes stock with an lsd
@@eriv4735 not all do. It was an option
I wanna supercharge my 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis. But I'm not sure where to get one for it.
To cool panther platform build great video 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I know it’s not in Tennessee but I would recommend fast lane motor sports in benson North Carolina. Full mustang performance shop with LOADS of experience and will take care of you 👍
This project is going to be so dope!
Good luck, with the CVPI bro! Awesome idea!
That supercharger is going to be a great addition to your crown Victoria I can't wait to see what she does after installing it.
So if I have a 2000-04 mustang by and i have a saleen supercharger will it make the gt a saleen?
Itll make it a gt, with a saleen charger lol
I subbed this my first time watching you I'm inspired by you
Where did you get a supercharger that fits a 4.6? I'm trying to find one for my Vic they are rare
Dude no way that is badass
Awesome to see what a Vic can do. Keep up the great work.
Heck yes man. I've been subbed since "Shit Crown Vic owners say" I'm excited for this. Both the supercharger and the step by step ls Swap
When you throwing this on?
Ig you were playing.
MIAMI, come on dude, I want to see that thing, installed, and smoking some tires. Brother..
I wish i could go and help you out with this project its gonna be sick when its all done up. Good luck on your journey i really hope it all works out and is up to your expectations.
I can use that supercharger on a 2011 ford crown Vic police interceptor?
by any chance do you have a part number or a website where you got the blower?
