I’m definitely trying this recipe,I tried your old beef stew recipe video ( without the flour) it turned out great but I think very little ginger is better cos it dominated the overall taste of the dish
Another delicious looking meal. Asante sana Chef. The tip I learned on this one was olive oil in the mashed potatoes! Got to try this one. I always simply used butter alone. Your channel appeared in my recommendations and I am so happy I chose to watch. Been watching for about a month now. I enjoy cooking especially for others. I am learning new tips in my mature age. Asante sana for sharing. Keep those recipes coming! Mungu akubariki.
What is this sorcery?? I made this stew and it was so freakin good!! Paired with chapati, ugh to die for! Thanks for this channel Chef Wainaina. Reminds me of home 🙏. Going to try that chicken curry next 😏
Hello Mr Wainaina....interested to know, you are obviously a trained chef (I can tell by your knife skills)....where did you do your Apprenticeship?...where were you trained sir?
can you give me a budget for like 30 people , rice for pilau and white, chapatis, mukimo, and beef stew with frozen green peas ( MINJI ) and on how you charge when invited to cook for an occasion.
Chef D. I enjoy watching your videos alot, however, as much as I learn and like your cooking and I could be wrong, Chef, in my opinion, you are a little bit too heavy handed with your sodium content. My BP goes up whenever you add salt to your food.
Thanks for enjoying my videos, and I can assure you i just add enough salt, spices or any flavorings to make the food /dish tasty and flavorful. My style is to season and adjust as I go, tasting as I do so to make sure its right and what's needed. Its important to season and cook to your taste and health. Thanks again for commenting on this important aspect of cooking.

Kindly asking where you buy your pots
Thanks for asking, I buy from different places but mostly Home Goods.
What flour is used
Check in the description box and within video for details.
Can I use cornstarch instead of flour for the browning.
Sure, yes you can 😋
@@chefdwainaina Thanks 🙏a lot for the quick response.
I cant make out the comment on red table wine...what did you say?
Oh I meant you can use the wine for cooking.
Me : where does the rest of the food goes 🤭🤭🥱😋
I could not watch your TH-cam video because of the damn music.
So sorry to hear that, thanks for letting me know and will work to fix it.
