The beauty of assembling a precision time keeping device without unnecessary babbling about the procesd. Clear, crisp video and sound. A refreshing pleasure for my weary senses. Thank you!
You just stated the main reason(s) why I enjoy watching this man repairing watches in his TH-cam videos. No "mumbo-jumbo" talk. No pets jumping into the camera view. No asking us to "smash that Like button". Just his pure, clean, highly refined skills on display for us purists to enjoy. With so many watch repair channels on TH-cam, I find it odd that only this man; Red Dead Restoration, fully grasps the potential audience that really craves this style of watch service content. I certainly do! I honestly enjoy the silence, that is occasionally interrupted only by the watch he is working on "speaking" to him/us. Beautiful watch, beautiful work, and beautiful setting. Just my humble opinion. A big Thank You for this excellent TH-cam video Red Dead Restoration! Fred Edited for - punctuation error.
Lovely to see. Brings it all back. I used to do this 6 days a week. No formal training, my friend, a jeweller/horologist started me off. His instructions were, 'treat it like a jigsaw' 😃
This is the only ASMR I can get behind. Fascinating how these watches work. I just got my first for xmas and now I am obsessed with how they work etc. Great video.
I notice that many viewers don't care about music or needless commentary, I am also a big fan of ASMR videos and also apply this to my latest video's ;-). Sometimes it's difficult to get the microphone as close to the watch as possible, but practice makes perfect :-) Again, a very nice video! Greeting from Belgium :-)
I'm so chilled after watching that I could nod off. :D Great close-up details which will come in very handy if I ever get around to swapping out the white day/date wheels for black ones. Thanks for the upload.
I have a decent condition, original seiko 6309 from 1984 that I'd love to have one of your restorations done on, though I can't imagine being able to afford it, considering the amount of work and attention to detail you put into it. Your videos are mesmerizing!
Buy some cheap mechanical watches and open them up. You’ll learn as you go. Don’t go out and purchase super expensive tools - first make sure that you are really interested before investing too much time and money. Upgrade tools as you need them. Best of luck.
No no no! You were doing so well from an ASMR aspect and then you introduced music at the end of your video. I was almost asleep and that woke me up. Defeated the whole purpose. :(
Es fascinante el trabajo que realiza para restaurar los relojes. Para mí es muy relajante ver el armado de los mismo. Felicitaciones por tan meticuloso y admirable trabajo...!!!
Nicely done, not gonna go through all the comments, but did anyone else notice the dial that was chosen had no “Day” window yet this watch clearly has a Day/date complication. Would drive me nuts knowing it’s under there rotating lol.
Lo que noté es que cuando estas armando el calendario tiene los días de la semana ....y cuando terminas el reloj solo tiene el calendario con números..... Detalle.... Exelente video 👍
Beautiful presentation, very extravagant. I wish you all lasting happiness, success and progress in your work. Health and Safety with sincere thanks and respect.💕💜💕
I think you should create a video in which you resume the dial of a vintage dive watch. Vintage Skin Divers always raise the emotions of us watch collectors..
Sorry to get techy as I loved this video so much, but at 5:14 there's a dial with the days of the week on it. How do you see this in the finished watch?
Thanks for the awesome upload... personally I would have preferred a polished chapter ring with or without etched minute markers, but I'm a big fan of the "dressKX" vibes
Very relaxing. Plus I love clockwork. But I must ask: Why does it have a completely covered inner display with the days of the week in English and Spanish? Reusing a mechanism from another watch where the days are visible?
Great movements; happened to have one on as I'm watching. Good that you took the time to service it despite (assuming) it's new. I don't mind the hidden day, no consequence. Love the dial and the beefy plush case. I'd be interested to see the numbers on it after the service, apparently +/- 15s per day is expected.
From someone who cannot assemble Ikea furniture, this is just incredible.
Right after marriage ikea is like the lego for adult beginners like me ... very enticing hobby my great respect
If you do it regularly, you’ll get used to anything
For someone who has assembled many complex things, this is incredible.
I feel u man 😁
🤣🤣
This video is like a medicine for me. A natural calming treat.

You don't need the Day. Because everyday is Seiko day.

As a watch builder and youtuber, I tell you, you are a LEGEND. awesome content.
That ticking, clapping, chirping sound on every component being screwed on is a relaxing sounds to me. Damn! I even got sleepy.
Always make videos like this and I will become your number one fan
I'm so chilled after watching that I could nod off. :D
Great close-up details which will come in very handy if I ever get around to swapping out the white day/date wheels for black ones.

This is Toy Story 2 puppet restorator scene level of satisfying
I love this videos!! Am I the only one that is curious about the retail value of each watch after it gets restored?
Ahhh today turned out to be a great day because I got that beautiful notification from TH-cam. Thanks for the amazing content sir!

Excellent and clear video, working quietly, gently and precisely
You are a genius. Really. You have something really special.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for.
Damn i love this puristic sounds... iam totally calm watching this, my puls is going down, i feel freedom :D
You feel not freedom, you feel ASMR effect
Superb video. Nice zoom. Parts were clearly visible. Very educational video. Please let's have more.
I would love to do this as a hobby but I don't know where to start
I do think about it to. Maybe buying a very cheap mechanic watch and all the tools
Buy some course and learn from it. I suppose at the beginning there aren't many tools that You need for this.

TH-cam is a great start. The Watch Repair Channel offers a great course.
I’m watchmaker in switzerland, you need to start a watch from ETA, ETA 6497.. this mouvement is very easy and not expensive
A true master at his craft! 🧐soothing videos for me always relaxing and comforting. Thanks sir...
This looks so complicated! So many tiny pieces. Wow!
Most talented ASMRist on the yt channel 👍
This+Live Rosin=WHOA.
that click into place @ 3:14 was amazing
Minds blowing engineering and assembling, gives great feeling,
Thank you so much for not adding background music.

كم أحترم هؤلاء الحرفيون الذين يجمعون عدة قطع غاية في الدقة والحجم
I googled engineering asmr to get here and TH-cam served me well
For me, that’s the perfect ASMR video. I love all of your videos though. 👍👍
Oh man, it is just excellent ! Perfection ! I loved it :)
Speechless, just beautiful
No no no! You were doing so well from an ASMR aspect and then you introduced music at the end of your video. I was almost asleep and that woke me up. Defeated the whole purpose. :(
Beautiful Dial ⌚❤️
5 in the morning and im watching you put a watch together
It is a pleasure and relaxation to watch you work so beautifully.

Awesome video, I don’t know much about watches, but why were the days of the week listed underneath if you can’t see them when it’s put together?
Same

Exelente video 👍
Thank you for coming back before this horrible year ended.
Beautiful presentation, very extravagant. I wish you all lasting happiness, success and progress in your work. Health and Safety with sincere thanks and respect.💕💜💕
Very Nice Watch!

It is a great video thanks for the great information and well delivered. This is exactly what I was looking for.
Nice mechanical work
What a great Video 💪🏼
Beautiful dial.
please upload more videos. it is satisfying to watch your videos. i've been waiting for the videos you have uploaded. thanks . God bless
someone will find this watch after 200 years and restore it once again
What a relaxing video
This makes my brain itchy in a good way

People are skilled, I would have threw it away
Very enjoyable video.....I have a seiko galaxy quartz gold plated dress watch I bought in 1990 it has"galaxy"printed on the bottom of the crystal.
I’m curious about the day of the week dial. Is this a watch face swap or are you able to see the day of the week somehow?
Thanks for the awesome upload... personally I would have preferred a polished chapter ring with or without etched minute markers, but I'm a big fan of the "dressKX" vibes
My only gripe is that you should've fitted a dial with a date and day window.
Is it customary to ignore complications and just cover it up with the wrong dial?
@@ericzeigler8669 I don't think so.
The day/date dial was sold out 😕
@@RedDeadRestoration I immediately went to buy one of these faces when I saw they were sold out 😭
@@RedDeadRestoration Could you have made a hole/opening in the dial to accommodate the day?
Amazing video. Fantastic, you are the Number One ! 👍+
That is truly beautiful.
Very relaxing. Plus I love clockwork. But I must ask: Why does it have a completely covered inner display with the days of the week in English and Spanish? Reusing a mechanism from another watch where the days are visible?
Genius detail
I think a black date window would have been better, nice build anyhow, well done!
That's a very nice looking watch :)
Hey buddy, well done video. Thanks.
I thank you for this noble work. This is something I love the most, but unfortunately. Anyway, thank you and I wish you success.
Beautiful watch
We need more of these. Please.
Love the dial.
Great video. Great format for videos as well 👍 why do they include the day of the week if it's not going to be shown?
Das ist so faszinierend !
I like how the watch can display weekdays, but there is no window in the watch face for this feature.
Great movements; happened to have one on as I'm watching. Good that you took the time to service it despite (assuming) it's new. I don't mind the hidden day, no consequence. How not like this video? Great wow man
Soothing and soporific 👏🏻👏🏻
It's like that dude who makes videos about rings except watches. Cool.
This is very much like an asmr.
Excelent video as always!
Great content, very enjoyable video, many thanks! Nice dial!
This is amazing. I don't understand where you can see the week days? 🤔
Im scrolling looking for that answer
