The Moog was the one thing my late father said he thought The Ventures should have incorporated in their sound while they were still around. Given the nature of their music, there is so much they could have done with it. Great job of the recreation. I like the remastered version of Autobahn which gives the base notes a bit of echo so that they overlap each other and sound like more keys are being played then actually are being played.
In the 90s I owned a minimoog D Serial 11167 that came out of the factory on dec 13 1978. 🙃 It can be heard on the single "Efter plugget" from the 70s.
Brilliant!!!! Spot on. I have been a massive Kraftwerk fan all my life and it's so cool to see how the totally iconic sounds were created. Thank You. Top Job!!!!
Well done! I didn't knew it could be done with the sounds of one type of synthesizers But please add some subtitles, explaining what you did to change a sound.
@@Valmont2001 Yes, I recognized some parts, like adding a second VCO @ 0:28 , but I'm not really used to it and I don't have a synthesizer here to test it. And I'm sure you have some additional effect, like reverb and flangers ... I'm not a musician, but I like to understand how things work.

Very nice. I'm trying to recreate these sounds on a virtual Mini (software only instrument) but I cannot make out your settings. Could you share them please? It's harder to adjust the settings with a mouse... so I guess a hardware Mini is in my future. Probably a Behringer Model D or Poly D..
Some of the sounds are using the feedback/overdrive where the signal gets "hot" on the original. Unfortunately this is the one thing which neither the plug-ins nor the real analog Behringer Moog clones are able to do nowhere near as good! Check out Starsky Carr in some of his Moog comparison videos where he talks about that!
The strings were done by a Vaco Orchestron. Basically an optical Melotron that used film discs instead of tapes and played them with a photocell. Kraftwerk used it on the "Radioaktivität" and "Trans Europa Express" album a lot. The string and chorus sounds mostly.
At last, a cover that sounds like the original Kraftwerk song. Most people forget the very importand upper right synth. The fat warm dualtone. Wihout it, it's not Autobahn.
The Moog was such ahead of it’s time, it is so unbelievably beautiful in very much many different ways
Impressive. And they were able to pull this up live back in 1975.
yeah. I think the car noises were done live with a Arp Odyssey that Florian played.
@@KRAFTWERK2K6 yes they used also micromoog or multimoog i saw it on video
I saw them live in 1976 but didn't pay attention to the setup. The were mesmerizing for me and the other 30 people who didn't walk out.

Иммер шайне ди зонне!
Иммер лёйхте дер химмель!
A real classic moog sound of Kraftwerk
This is awesome! I see alot of comments about the original instruments used, but this sounds very close to the original! Great job 🤙🎶🚗
Thanks mate! ^^
Exactly my opinion!
@Harry Crabb Krraftwerk had a Minimoog among others.
It sounds like the same actual recording but it is just slightly higher pitched!
Some of the things they used were custom build because the things just weren't around back then.

I played along to this with my bass, amazing!
I absolutely LOVE THIS
I set this whole video as my ringtone, and I never pick up! Kraftwork Forever!!
It was all fabulous but those bass notes near the end are divine!
Those are some phat sounds for sure! Good stuff :D
This was so awesome. I felt like I was in a Kraftwerk video :)
Conny Plank was ahead of his time!

Yeah I was lazy on the moment and I wondered bruh people could use their ears as I'm doing, right? xD

Freaking amazing! Your Moog is tuned a half-step sharp.
Ok, you got me.

Deadly, well done 👍🏻
Went to my favorites just from the intro alone!

Incrível... não me canso de ouvir ❤❤❤
Wonderful!
2:21 proper car sound right there.
Tech has come a long ways since this came out in 1974 if I'm correct, love this song, 😺❤️♥️💞💖💕
sensational, a return to the past, congratulations, impeccably the same.
Minimoog was monophonic.. amazing piece of equipment !!!.. 😊😊.analog is killer !!! how many tracks did you need to finish ?? just 4 ??

The Top Of The Pops comp albums crew recreated the song with one MiniMoog really.
Talent ! 🚗

The swing plucks were not by a MiniMoog Model D, but from a Farfisa Professional Piano
Wonderful

Well well. This is marvelously done. :]
Fantastico.💕🤗

A música de meus sonhos 😊😊😊
Well done, it´s quite close to the 91´-version or the one they perform on stage nowadays!
Very nice!

Wow! Great!
This is the right gear 👌👍
VERY good job! Thx for it.

The Major Lead was an Odyssey but I know that's not your point. This video is excellent.
If true, it’s a valid point. What is your (not Moog) source?

Oh No , The track is a lot longer than that . You cant stop there !
Awesome , would you be as kind as to write settings on moog for these awesome sounds :)
C'est du solide !!!
Can I get a picture of the knob settings for the sounds?!
wow....
Cool
Wow !!!!
Tak wyglądało Eksperymentowanie z Dźwiękiem przeszło 50 Lat temu zanim Ralf HUETTER oraz FLORIAN SCHNEIDER założyli KRAFTWERK. Pozdrówka 👍🇵🇱
Wish they were specifying which waveforms? I'm guessing saw for the most part.
Hello! Beautiful video. One question, what Software did you use to play the 4 Videos in parallel?
Adobe Premiere Pro!
@@Valmont2001 I have also tried my luck, but not with a Software. I used a looper Pedal. Do you like it? th-cam.com/video/_6q0UHfRtL8/w-d-xo.html
Amazing. Is there a way you can provide close up shots of all the settings in each frame/
Do you have a patch diagram of the keyboard for the individual sounds you could send?
Great

Could someone explain how you get that “double note” effect on the delay bass? Thanks in advance!
since the name of the sound is "delay bass" you can try use...a delay, maybe?

the delay Bass seemed for me to be fake. I have a B model d, there is no delay.
@L W the delay was added in post. Either through software or with a pedal. This seems fairly obvious
@@TheNGVirusYT not so obvious. i lrealize with a model d behringer mod to get an delay without plugin etc...
