12/19/22 One year status, The heater works pretty good when it is on, however, the thermostatically controlled flame does not work really well. It tends to spit and sputter a lot even creating soot at the pilot light when controlled by the auto thermostat. Therefore I tend to turn it either on or off well in excess of the auto on/off temperature position on the dial.
