The hug when billy left the house when he’s with his wife and kid 5 minutes earlier their worrying about paying the rent!! Great scene
I've not been a "huge baseball fan", BUT the Money Ball movie has really piqued my interest / respect / enjoyment of the game. Happily, Scott Hatteberg (the REAL guy) comes across as a genuine "good guy" in this interview. Really cool to see he wound up working for the A's after his playing days ended! I loved the scene of Billy Beane showing up at his house, unannounced, with a contract to play 1st base after he was fearful his playing days were over!! Can you even imagine?!?!
I'm reading the book "Moneyball", and there is a lot in it about Scott Hatteberg. His approach to hitting was the most interesting.
