do you know how long that will be there for? I visit Dayton about once a year and have been to the museum a couple times. Would love to go back there with that in mind

Airbus should buy a few of these for their office! If this plane were also scaled weightwise, the model would only weight about 15lb! That tell you how light the real plane is in composite material!

This is the coolest and most detailed mini-fig scale build I've ever seen, I'm absolutely floored with the attention to detail and quality of this build.
He said that part of the passion is making it for the public. I think that's a testament to a great builders attitude. Those type of people can sustain for long periods without burn out it seems. It's also a testament to his self esteem.

The paper thing and estimating bricks was useful information. I never really knew how people even began to create large true to scale builds like this. Wish I had the budget and space to do something like this
He needs to add some speakers in the wings and pump realistic sounds from the airbus. Give it the feeling of the APU's running on the tarmac or the engines running.

It's great to see Jack get this level of exposure. As a subscriber of his, it feels like you're seeing not just the models develop but this super-engineer in the making. I'd love to see Tested shoot a feature with world class model builder David "Plasmo" Damek of the Czech Republic, or Aleksandr Petrov (a stop-motion animator whose medium for the past 40 years has been oil paints on back-lit glass).
I have some Creator Expert kits that are mostly white (the Porsche Turbo Targa, Ecto-1, and Space Shuttle Discovery. Part of displaying them is finding places not in direct sunlight.

@@joedoerr6506 I think it is permanent. Once the museum receives a retired VC-25, then the model will be displayed with the VC-25.

attention to detail really makes this build shines, from internal furnishing, to making it look like an actual airline plane, amazing job!

I met Jack last year at BrickFair Virginia, displaying his Air Force One MOC. It is an amazing MOC, and he’s a really nice guy.
