Hey tiago, I was thinking of starting a lego youtube channel myself and i was wondering if you could tell me what camera and mic you use for your videos.
@@BackflipBrickfilmswhen he was reviewing the dioramas I think the point he was trying to make was that they aren’t too overpriced compared to Lego Star Wars in general - where everything is overpriced. That was my takeaway at least
Actually fits perfectly on my work shelve at an avionics company. Definitely taking up a large chunk of real estate though. I'm really tempted to use the design to make an SR71 model.
That’s a nice looking model. This brings back some memories. Back in 1985, the Concorde visited Billund, home of LEGO, for the first and only time. To mark this event LEGOLand arranged a build off. You had to build a model of the Concorde and bring it to LEGOLand where it would be on display and people could vote for the best build. The prize was the LEGO airport set that had recently come out. I built the best looking Concorde, using all my best pieces - and I still know it to this day! I had captured every single detail of the bird. It was put on display and me and my dad went home and waited till the announcement of the winner. When the time came, we went back to LEGOLand and tried to find the model. It was nowhere to be seen! The staff couldn’t find it. It was most likely stolen. We never found it. I was devastated. I had lost my best bricks and to make matters worse an unrealistic multicolored model won the competition. I knew I would have won it! LEGOLand offered me a bag of generic bricks as compensation. Something inside of me still hurts from this experience. I wish LEGO would offer me this model to make things right and close an old wound in a 47 year old man’s heart 😄
As a huge aerospace enthousiast, this was the first ever Lego set I purchased day 1, and I couldn't be happier with it. I don't think I've ever had more fun building a Lego set, and there were multiple "wait, THAT'S how they do it? That's genius!" moments in the process
I'm sure some people out there would do the hanging it from fishing line display. That's how I'd like to do it. Just wonder how you'd want to incorporate the line.
Personally I consider Tiago the best Lego reviewer in the world by now. The presentation of models is always great and there is nothing superfluous in a review. Thanks for showing sets in such a great way. I’m looking forward to see new 18+ sets, always pressing the “like” button

The landing gear mechanism took me back 20 years to when I was building the fantastic 8480 Space Shuttle as a kid. Subjectively one of the most impressive sets ever on the Technic side. Thank you for another super chill video! // Chris
I just bought this today for my husband’s Christmas present. The first thing I did when I got home is search youtube for your review. Thank you for your honest review 😊
Preordered this one a while ago and it arrives tomorrow I’m actually so hyped to get it built, a glowing review only furthers my already extreme excitement for this set.
So glad I picked this one up - Meant to spend a few days on it but I ended up knocking it out in a little over 6 hour with a few breaks. The build was just so compelling I kept coming back!
I really liked the way they added some notes to instruction book to tell some facts about the real-life Concord. I think we should have more of these in other Lego sets, it's a pity they are not added on a regular basis. And the printed pieces, of course.
Reminds me of the Lego Saturn V from a few years ago in terms of build quality and value. Although this isn't quite as good of a deal as the Saturn V was in terms of price to pieces ratio (even when adjusting for inflation) it's still pretty compelling.
I am so thankful I stayed up the night of the Lego VIP/insiders prerelease to get my hands on one of these it was so worth it the Concorde is my favourite plane of all time
Totally agree about the difficultly in displaying it. I really enjoyed building it then stressed about where I was going to put it but after moving stuff around I found a great spot that I can see from my desk and it just makes me so happy to look at it. Fantastic model
The only thing I noticed regarding build stability is that the large slope pieces on the wings feel like they want to pull apart just a *little* bit. Other than that though, rock solid build and well worth the money.
Bought this on your recommendation and am blown away. It's huge, detailed, and genuinely really fun to build, an easy recommendation for anyone teetering on the verge of ordering.
This got announced right after I got back from a trip to the Smithsonian Annex and saw their Concorde, so I ordered it immediately - it may be comforting to know that the actual plane doesn't really fit in the Smithsonian either - it's at an angle with other planes tucked underneath it, it's tricky to even get it in a single photo :-)
With the Concorde being my favourite aircraft of all time you can imagine how excited I was when they announced it! I purchased it the very first day it was available and now sits proudly in the middle of the dining table. A very unique and fun building experience with me and my girlfriend both highly enjoyed!
1:57 - All planes actually land with a nose-up attitude, but Concorde (and other supersonic delta-wing designs) took it to a whole new level. The reason for the droop snoot is *partially* because of Concorde's extreme nose-up attitude during takeoff and landing, and partly due to its very long nose. If the nose wasn't so long, Concorde wouldn't have needed a droop snoot.
When I first saw this I had some mild Nostalgia from when I was very young, didn't know what the internet was and constantly heard about the Concorde being decommissioned. Other than that I didn't think much of the set. Then I went and watched a speed build and instantly fell in love with it.
I got this set for Christmas and it is the coolest set Lego has ever created not just because I really like airplanes but because of the awesome building techniques and snot brick techniques which made it an awesome building experience
Now that Airbus and Lego is forming a partnership I am really hoping for an A380 or A350. I would also love to see a 747 if Lego ever partner with Boeing.
Great video! And if you have any further interest in Concorde, I'm guessing the stand location is placed right at the centre of gravity! Which was also very important for the aircraft to achieve, as there were no stabilisers! So so fuel was pumped to different parts of the aircraft to keep the plane balanced!
Just finished mine recently and its awesome! To solve the lack of space, I'll hang it on a wooden ceiling beam, right above the stairs, with some fishing lines, so it can actually fly for the rest of its life :)!

Mini fig scale would probably put it around 4ft wing span, and 6ft in length judging by my B-2 and C-5 MOCs. Not feasible for an official set.
