As long as you don't push too hard when you put the cap on, you won't break it. There are spring levers at the bottom of the fader that make contact with a conducting plate and they tend to bend inward when heavy-handed people press the the fader cap on too hard, making those levers lose contact with the plate. The recommendation I'm hearing is to simply not put the cap on at all.
@Flashback_Jack Thanks so much for the detailed reply. It also sounds like it's going to have to be carried around like a baby, as opposed to in a bag, rucksack or splash case. I expect TE will find a solution for the fader in the longer term. I'm not going to put the hat on the fader arm until then. Still excited for it. Thanks and enjoy! 👍
@@HellcatTheSavage Probably, but it's best not to mess with it at all to be safe. Some have said they have heated the cap up with a hairdryer, but I wouldn't chance it at all.
What is the sent to buy that people can get laptop cheaper and do more than that video and recording tracks of guitar and vocal and do more on laptop then that
You prolly just mad cause you can't afford one? That's how it comes off bro. People can buy whatever they want to buy. Stop pocket watching other people homie...

You can dremel/cut the cap opening to widen? @@Flashback_Jack
