Thanks for thhis and all your other video's. Theyre really useful.😊 May i ask, when will the fluctuating swelling/bloating calm down. I. 7 wk po, after a MM am i asking too mych too early?
The fluctuating bloating is so normal - don’t let it get you down! You will eventually settle down to the ‘not swollen’ state permanently, but it can take months (even 3-6 months) for the end of day swelling to go away. It can be a sign you need to be slightly less active or keep going with compression or MLD a bit longer - check with your surgeon for advice tailored to you and your surgery. Good luck, and thanks for your comments ❤

Ah - that’s not so uncommon, but not very nice after a muscle repair. Always speak to your surgeons team, but I’d think about the pain killers you’re using first of all. Could you cut back on the opiates? They constipate you and I find often make the postop period more UNcomfortable, because the constipation is more uncomfortable, so then you take more and it gets worse. Try simple analgesics if you can. Also I tell my patients to drink plenty of fluid and to think about stool softeners too. Best of luck with your recovery.

Hi - thanks for the question. There isn't an age limit as such, more of a 'health limit'. Often they go together but not always, and I'd operate on a fit 60-something but not on an unfit 20-something. So it really depends on a personalised assessment of fitness for surgery. As an example, here's a tummy tuck I performed on a 68 year old - she recovered very smoothly and it really changed her world for the better, so why not? instagram.com/p/CGc1iXaHo8j/
I wish you could be my surgeon, but I live abroad. I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet, will this cause any problems with a TT with lipo and Saldaño technique? I'm in the first stages, and have initial appointments set up in 2 weeks time, I'm a week off 66 years of age and wanted this for so long.
Hi Julie - thanks! You mention your age - as long as you are fit for surgery that shouldn't be an impediment - see for example this lady who I performed this procedure on, at the age of 68 (instagram.com/p/CGc1iXaHo8j/). The peripheral neuropathy needs to be investigated, but many causes also wouldn't affect the surgery, although would need special care with how you are positioned, padded etc during the procedure. Best of luck with your surgery!

I'm so sorry but I can only advise on postop issues for my own patients - I recommend you reach out to your surgeon or clinic, they'll be able to advise specifically on this. Sometimes belly button issues resolve with simple treatment as you are doing and sometimes more is needed, so you'll need some tailored input for this! Best wishes with your recovery

I am 2weeks tummy tuck and liposuction I have some bruising and swelling and left side become hard and I can't stand up straight my Dr told me will take 3 weeks really I don't know 😕
Emphyesema is a potential contraindication to this kind of surgery, but it depends on how severe it is. I would involve your chest physician and the anaesthetist to decide if we could go ahead on a case by case basis.
Why no one talks about you not being able to walk straight YEARS after tummy tuck? Why not a single PS ever talks about the possibility of your wife having pain for 5-6 years post op?! How about NOT having sex life at all after the surgery while remembering a great times before?! Love your bodies, ladies!
Hi Bob - I'm really sorry to hear about your wife's experience. That would be incredibly unusual - I have certainly never encountered it in one of my patients, I don't know a colleague who has, and it is not a reported known outcome. So I'd guess Plastic Surgeons don't talk about this as a potential outcome because to the best of their knowledge and experience it is not amongst the list of risks to be aware of. The fact it's really exceptionally rare doesn't help you or your wife - I really hope her surgeon is on board and keen to find a solution, and that she is able to get her outcome fixed. If not it may be worth approaching other surgeons and physicians to try to identify the cause of the problem as a first step to putting it right. Best of luck.
Hi, I'm based in Berkshire and carry out surgery mostly in Reading. If you are struggling to find someone I also have some videos on my channel on how to research your surgeon and how to avoid bad Plastic Surgery. Good luck!
Doctor, my TT is in 2 more weeks. I heard Arnica & Bromelain will help to reduce swelling and bruising, some people advide to take 2 week before surgery , so is it right ? Is it safe ? Thanks and please let me know.
Lots of water and reduce sodium intake. These two things will reduce swelling I ate very clean before and after my TT and had very little swelling..Its been 3 months now and even my scar looks very good.
Thank for your adviced, my TT been so well and about 6 days i went to take off the drains and doctor said my incision healing really fast , because i ate healthy ( low sodium) , take multi vitamins, vitamin C. Emphyesema is a potential contraindication to this kind of surgery, but it depends on how severe it is. I would involve your chest physician and the anaesthetist to decide if we could go ahead on a case by case basis.
I'm day 5 and its HORRIBLE
I get really bad allergies, will it be safe to take allergies meds to avoid sneezing?
Maybe she just dont want to With you;)
What can I wear after surgery
Loose fitted maxi dresses and moo moos
I am day 8 post op and I still cannot stand up tall
That’s not unusual - it’s common for this to take 2 weeks. The record in one of my patients was 6 weeks! You’ll probably get a stellar result though…
Where abouts are you based?
Hi Clare - we are in Berkshire (UK) - our clinic is in Eton 👍
Looking to do a muscle repair with lipo to flanks not sure who to trust. Where are you based please?
Hi, I'm based in Berkshire and carry out surgery mostly in Reading. If you are struggling to find someone I also have some videos on my channel on how to research your surgeon and how to avoid bad Plastic Surgery. Good luck!
Doctor, my TT is in 2 more weeks. I heard Arnica & Bromelain will help to reduce swelling and bruising, some people advide to take 2 week before surgery , so is it right ? Is it safe ? Thanks and please let me know.
Lots of water and reduce sodium intake. These two things will reduce swelling
I ate very clean before and after my TT and had very little swelling..Its been 3 months now and even my scar looks very good.
Thank for your adviced, my TT been so well and about 6 days i went to take off the drains and doctor said my incision healing really fast , because i ate healthy ( low sodium) , take multi vitamins, vitamin C. Beside that i took Wound Vite pill and Bromelain and sometimes i took lymphatic pill from Amazon . I thinks these things help me alot .
@@mechelleanderson3399 I get mine in a few weeks and this is the part where I’m getting nerves. This is good to know! I will start this now. Thank you!
Hello, I have question please ! I smoke hookah on daily bases ! I met two surgeons for tummy tuck , one is ok and didn’t ask me to quit and one wouldn’t even have me for consultation unless it’s been a month after quitting! I am confused why one ok one is not !!
Don't use the surgeon that didn't expect you to quit smoking!!!!!
Have you ever done work on plus size patients ?
They want you to be at your goal weight, but search Plus size tummy tuck on here🙏🏽
@@DemureDarlings Thanx ♥
hi, I prefer to operate on patients with a BMI of 30 or less, but after massive weight loss can extend this to 32. Beyond that the complication profile just gets too high unfortunately :-(
Yes I'm letting the doctor taken out
Do you do mommy makeover at your clinic
Hi - we do mommy makeovers, but we ask our patients to stay overnight so these are done at one of our local private hospitals. Consultations and aftercare all happen at the clinic :-)
Bless day your video makes me wonder the cause of this surge in Jamaica
I want to get my Tommy down. What should I eat and not eating please
