I play Animal Crossing in small doses daily, just as I did with New Leaf. So I don't really get bored rapidly. One thing I have been doing is to craft gifts for my villagers daily in order to get their framed pictures.
All you should have to do is go into a room and hit the downward arrow button to enter customization mode. Then you open your storage and go to the cat icon, where you can call villagers. Hope this helps!
I go to turnip exchange whenever I’m bored. Do all sort of things. Trade items, hunting ans fishing at other ppl’s island, shopping at other ppl’s island, meet Celeste, meet Sahara, visit other ppl’s island... etc.
When idk what to do on my island I go on pinterest to get inspired and catch ideas and then I try to draw the idea I have in my mind to be more clear and then I place it into the game, that way I'm more creative and I make better projects :)
I terraform. I enjoy the custom paths and designs. I also love visiting friend's islands. I get ideas and a lot of people love to host others. Some host events or give aways. My language teacher sets up her class in animal crossing.

Email us vocabulary as well as sentence structure sheets to practice and then have us type out ,in game, sentences with those words. She'll also make sure all language in game is on Portuguese. So conversations will be in Portuguese too.

Thank you for these! Animal crossing is so fun, but if you’ve been playing all day there’s not much to do at night. Your villagers are sleeping, the shops are closed, it’s dark so you can’t get a good picture, so it gets pretty boring lol

Because everyday you will be able to get 2 furniture Items from trees and I definitely got some pretty cool and rare items, the wasps you can sell for 2.000bells each (I always keep them and wait for Flick) On NM-Islands there will always be one tree with an item (except for bamboo and sister fruit island) and one tree with wasps so if you're going villager hunting don't forget to shake the trees! ^^
Never leave an island unfinished. I literally destroyed & recreated my island 6 times, plus I finished my catalog within the first few weeks there is nothing left for me to do.
I have a tip to do when your bored! 1: Try and find all the bugs, fossils, and fish you haven’t found yet! If I am correct you need to donate atleast 60 or 50 items to get redd to visit (and of course, you need the nook tent upgraded to a building) 2: join the animal crossing amino and try and get some furniture, villagers, and materials you may want or need! 3: download a bunch of custom outfits you like from the kiosk in the able sisters shop! Or if you don’t have online play try and re-create and outfit you really like!
When I'm bored, I like to play music. I love how the accompaniment algorithm works. You just bust out an ocarina or whatever, and you sound incredible.

I got really bored after playing for like 2 months, and I stopped playing for a month. I recently started playing again and it has the same magic that it did for me when I first started again. It’s fine to take a break for a while everyone, because it’s fun to come back and fix things up and see your villagers again
i love to think of new projects for my island or just mess around with fences (its fun for me),when i have nothing to do, i even try to enjoy bunny day (im crazy LAMO), and speak to my favorite villager of all times, that will never leave the island, the one and only, JUDY!

The thing I like to do the most when I'm bored is to roleplay scenarios with friends or by myself on my island, sometimes going to Harv's to take little photoshoots with my villagers looking like we live together and it's a big happy family :D
Idk if you said this because I haven’t finished the video yet, but what I sometimes do is play 20 questions in animal crossing! All you need to do is bury an item, then your friend can ask at most 20 questions about it, if you have multiple people with you, the first one to get it right wins the item!
if you have all the rows of storage then just bring the bare minimum. like a shovel, axe, and the thing to catch bugs. And you should have enough room😌
My island is split into regions and each region has all of the flowers in a certain color, for example, my area with my nooks cranny has all orange flowers, and my house area has green mums, it's probably ly stupid but I always get compliments on em

What I do when I get bored in Animal Crossing is working on my terraforming. Making bells in Animal crossing is hard so here's a little tip. (Also, someone made a video with this tip and this was the most helpful tip.) The gold plots you see in the ground, you'll get 1,000 bells. Don't bury it back in. Instead, bury 10,000 bells, and you'll get 3× as much as like the 1,000 bells. And then do the same thing the next day then you'll be rich in the game in no time. :D Hope this helps.
The trick to catching the wasps when you shake them from your trees is always shake the tree from the front while holding a net! Your character will turn toward the wasps and you can just immediately click “a” to catch it. Haven’t failed at this yet!

When I’ve used second residents to collect mor diys from villagers crafting, the diy recipes have been the same as the one I just got my primary character to get. Can secondary residents actually get different diys or the same from villagers...? Otherwise what’s the point

I started with Rory and Plucky, Didn't like Rory, he was in my old new leaf game and I just didn't like how he looked.. but he's now, literally becoming on of my favourite villagers, he's singing every day, always giving me stuff, and i recently got my first photo frame from him! I was going to let him move at first so I could get my dreamies but now I honestly think i want him to stay, he's become a dreamie and i love himm!
My original save file for New Horizons I had to reset because I realize because of how much time traveling I did I had time travel to multiple holidays but none of them worked I couldn't even go to the naturally Bruno I had so my dream villagers I still didn't enjoy the game because I'm burnt out with time travel do I reset my eyelids and now I'm at a good point in the game where I'm getting close to finishing project KK a Kyu Dil when you're trying to get KK Slider but honestly it's something that always makes me keep playing and restarting my eyelids then KK Slider Mission it always makes me feel happy restarting my Island getting your villagers and realizing how many dreams I have in this game but I'll never have all of them on my Island even if I delete all my ugly villagers like one of them and get all my dreams there's never going to be enough slots for all my dream villagers I have so many dream villagers on this on in the game that I love I will never have enough slots from my town because there's only 10 villages we are allowed to have in Animal Crossing Islands at once and I have much more than that in my dream villagers

Here’s a super easy trick to catch bees 100% each time Always have your net out You see the nest drop, start spamming a. Immediately after you stop the reaction, you’ll catch em! Super easy way to watch it I also use this method for tarantulas and scorpions, I watch for them to start chasing me, run back a bit, and then swipe em hehe
I honestly talk to them too get them annoyed and just keep talking to them. I kept talking to Shari until she literally yelled at me lol. then I kicked her

a tip for catching wasps is to stand right in front of the tree when shaking it, so you immediately turn towards the wasp to catch it 🙃

My original save file for New Horizons I had to reset because I realize because of how much time traveling I did I had time travel to multiple holidays but none of them worked I couldn't even go to the naturally Bruno I had so my dream villagers I still didn't enjoy the game because I'm burnt out with time travel do I reset my eyelids and now I'm at a good point in the game where I'm getting close to finishing project KK a Kyu Dil when you're trying to get KK Slider but honestly it's something that always makes me keep playing and restarting my eyelids then KK Slider Mission it always makes me feel happy restarting my Island getting your villagers and realizing how many dreams I have in this game but I'll never have all of them on my Island even if I delete all my ugly villagers like one of them and get all my dreams there's never going to be enough slots for all my dream villagers I have so many dream villagers on this on in the game that I love I will never have enough slots from my town because there's only 10 villages we are allowed to have in Animal Crossing Islands at once and I have much more than that in my dream villagers

But what if your island is done? Every inch of my island has a purpose and design. Even if I get more stuff what do I do with it? I mean, I don't even have space for my daily gold tree spawn...
Renovate it? Idk the word but I've been in that situation a couple of times and i just move and delete everything from paths to every river and waterfall. I basically do it until its literally a flat ground, and everyones houses are on the beach. I just basically start a new, trying to make a better town.
When I'm bored in Animal Crossing, I catch and put giant spider crabs over my island
Speaking of projects I have an empty room in my home which I'm planning on turning into a detective's office, (scince my island headcanon is that I'm the local law enforcement due to a lack of copper and brooker) and I have hit a road block with designing the room itself. Any ideas to help me pass this mental wall?

It really surprises me how many people say they don't use Harvey's Island. Especially as someone who uses it every day.
People dont use it because they don't have creativity like me. I never use it AT ALL!

Always have your net out
You see the nest drop, start spamming a. Immediately after you stop the reaction, you’ll catch em! Super easy way to watch it
I also use this method for tarantulas and scorpions, I watch for them to start chasing me, run back a bit, and then swipe em hehe
