I just bought the Leland Trout Magnets. I'm hitting a small creek with some deep holes that is stocked from the over flow of a state park lake. small lake and a small stream until you get down it about 8 miles then it widens out but it's also polluted down there. One village just got a sewage treatment plant 10 years ago. They were dumping raw sewage into the creek since the town was built. Finally no more but that is way down stream from where I go. I'm almost at the lake on my sisters property that the creek runs through. Beautiful stream.
I love the Panfish magnets! Really simple lure, however to cast it effectively is another thing. 1000 spinning reel, 5'6 Light action rod, and 6lb braid has been what works for me. As for coffee, whatever it is has to be black (no cream or sugar).
I know this is an old comment but I’ll have to try this out. I’ve been trying to throw them on a 1000 size reel/6’ UL and 8# braid with a 4#fluoro leader and just can’t get them far at all, same results with a 5’ UL/500 size reel/6# mono
@@THESKINIMIN1234adding a weighted float makes a huge difference. I know most people see the bobber and start laughing but I use the trout magnet with an ultra light Zebco 33 gold and absolutely destroy trout. They can laugh all they want LOL
@@donalddouds6033 I’ve actually switched my 500 size reel to 2# mono and it’s significantly easier and hasn’t been an issue with the sunfish in my area, but once trout season hits I’ll most likely throw a weighted bobber on to test that as well
Those crappie would make for some good fish sticks. LOL. I’ve heard those yellow bass are good eating too. Those bluegill weren’t a bad size either. Years ago I caught a boat load of crappie there at Cutright.
They were definitely fish stick sized! 🤣 Cutright is becoming our favorite spot on the lake to take the boat. I hope to get it running over the winter and head back in the spring. I'll have to take you along with me!
Its SUCH a problem here in South Africa. Down the main street of the small country town I live near are LOADS of trash containers. But you still see trash everywhere you look...
That was a fun video. As long they're bitting, don't matter how big they are ,that's alot of fun. I myself like dark roast Maxwell house or Folgers black, nothing in it. Thanks for sharing, good day and God bless you!
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it! You're right, I don't care about the size if they're biting. Just use a light setup and they're just as fun as the big ones! Thanks for the coffee recommendations too. God bless! 🎣👊
Panfish Magnets cast better with lighter line preferably 2lb maybe 4lb nothing past 4lb if you wanna make longer cast. Also I use an Ultralight Rod to whip this small bait pretty far. Caught a 4lb bass on 2lb line using Panfish Magnets. These lures catch everything that swims.
If you have trouble casting light lures/baits adding a weighted foam bobber can give you the boost you need to get the line a bit further out. I fish a Zebco 33 gold for both panfish and trout with either of these set ups ( The panfish magnet and trout magnet) and a foam 1” weighted bobber and absolutely kill with it. Just remember to let it just dead drift/float
Hello ! I want to buy me some of them panfish magnets kits . I have a catch the fever precision cast crappie 6’6” medium light 1-pc spinning rod . What size and name spinning reel and what size and name and color fishing line you would recommend me to buy and used for catching fish with the spinning rod that I have please. May the Lord be in your heart today to answer all of my questions and may the Lord continue to bless you and your family and your TH-cam channel in 2024 please 🙏
It's all personal preference and budget. Just experiment with different series reels and line and you will get it dialed in for your fishing style. Thanks for watching! 👊🎣
I believe they are the same for the most part. Like you said, some different colors and they are a little smaller from what I've noticed. Thanks for watching! 🎣👊
@@chasesoedel8398the grubs are trout magnet grubs . In the panfish kit leland lures uses a hook that's a little longer than the standard trout magnet. Same head as the trout slayer jighead.
Just ran across your video nice job showing how well the panfish plastics work I'll have to try those. I didn't see a swivel in your setup, do you have any problem with line twist. Nice video i just hit subscribe
Another awesome video sir. I really like that kit I have seen them alot in videos on here but great video and I like how you showed us what you was using and how you was fishing with it. Sir thanks again for all you do. Well till nexts trip tight lines.
I love fishing Panfish Magnets. I have caught several speicies of fish on them in several different bodies of water around where I live. It's interesting that the brown/rootbbeer color did not work for you because for me it is the juice! I even bought a larger pack of just the brown ones because they work so well for me. Fish on brother!
I generally throw it out and let it fall a couple seconds then slowly reel in pausing along the way and giving a twitch here and there. It can also be vertical jigged if fishing a school of Crappie. Thanks for watching and the coffee suggestion! 🎣👊
I don't, but again thats all personal preference. If you don't have a light line on like 4lb test, you might want a little more weight to cast a little further.
Don't forget to comment what kind of coffee I should try!
You should try Dunkin Donuts Vanilla.
Dirty thumb nails?!?!? Ur too funny.
I don't usually do flavored coffee's, but I might have to give that a try.

Lavazza Perfetto for me. Started drinking it on my travels to Spain and found it in my local grocery store. I prefer it black.
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll add it to my list. 🎣👊
You are so blessed to live in a area with that good of fishing, thanks for the video
We are truly blessed! Thanks for watching! 🎣 👊
Some lovely slate on the shore! Slasto your living room!
Folgers black silk
That's not to bad. Thanks for watching and commenting! 👊🎣
How can i get me a crappie magnet kit
I believe i got this one from Dick's Sporting Goods.
We call them stripers!
Love fishing in the cold weather.
Definitely not as many people out, which makes for more spots to fish!
@@DeltaRogueFishing oh yeah.
It's so unfair how good that kit works. I wish more people sold small lures like that which work as well as these.
It does work well! Thanks for watching! 🎣👊
Black rifle coffee
Definitely a good choice! 👊🎣
Speedway...house blend is pretty tasty
Thanks for commenting! I'll have to give it a try. 👍

If your ever in the pacific northwest you should try Dutch Bros coffee. There really good.....other than that it’s Yuban all the way.
Awesome, I'll have to remember that! My brother-in-law lives in Alaska and we want to visit this year, so we'll have a stop in Seattle. 👊
I would like to share to my FB fishing page with your permission. I had a ACL surgery yesterday so no fishing for me.
Share all you want, it would be greatly appreciated! I wish you a speedy recovery!

Need to a video with Calvin picking the bait. Also im a big fan of dunkin donuts original the stuff you make at home.
I like that idea! I've had Dunkin and it is some good stuff!
Those look like the same Grubs used in the trout magnet kit
They're pretty much the same, just a little smaller.
