Cremation is looking better and better everyday
I agree ... I'd rather return as in smoke to the Earth than rot away underground or in a crypt.
Cremation is better less cost and stressful on family also you don’t have to worry about a grave and taking care of it. Keep your loved ones close pass them down generation to generation you also can put hair and memorabilia of your lost one in the urn! Family Animals can be done too!
Ashes to ashes man
Donate body to science. Get a free cremation
Its alot cheaper . I cremated my husband in aug of 2021. Cremation urn and his name engraved on it. $1,200.00
The funeral home even asked me if I wanted to start the cremation oven which I did.
Sad that someone who died as recently as 2008, is already left and forgotten about
I thought the same thing
Sad when your final resting place isn’t final.
Well said
Perfect point
How sad is this? The buyer should have sued the seller for not disclosing the information.
The real estate agent as well but the state should step up
So the buyer has zero responsibility to know what he's buying?
If you aren't sure, don't bid. It isn't that hard to figure out...
I can't imagine having a loved one laid to rest somewhere and that place end up abandon. What now? Finding another cemetery would be terrible.
Those spots aren't cheap, either. My grandfather was in one, inside like that as well. Was something like $20,000. He was moved eventually to be next to my grandmother. Second marriage after my grandmother passed, arranged he be in the wall and my father wasn't having any of that. She remarried yet a 3rd time and he was yanked from there and moved.
The concrete boxes are burial vaults. The caskets are lowered down in the vaults and then the lid is placed on top. Then the dirt does the rest.
So sad. Thank you for bringing attention to it. Maybe someday they can truly rest in piece.
Thats the problem with Coffin Condos sooner or later the building falls apart....
Love it when you and Lamont At Large get together big fan of journey_with _jay too , thanks to you
This needs to be put on the national news. Gross. A body at rest stays at rest?
Deeply heart-wrenching to see the dead so neglected. Once they were alive just like us.
How sad 😔 your final resting place so decrepit and broken down. My heart aches for the families
I feel sad for the people buried here... 😧🕊💫❤👍🏻
Their dead...i'm sure they don't care.
I Thought this cemetery and mausoleum looked familiar, just could not remember which channel I had seen it on until you mentioned Lamont. Nonetheless, this is extremely disturbing how careless people can be toward cemeteries to allow them to fall into such disrepair. I hope someone will go in and clean up and repair the property. A lot of the families of those interred there may be gone by now or simply do not know of the conditions.
Wasn't that like 3 year's ago?
@@rashakawa, it may have been 3 years ago, although I think I had seen the video +/- 1year ago.
Its called due diligence. I don't believe for a second someone buying a larg piece of land like that didn't know a mosoleum was there.
I was already going for natural burial. No point in memorials because, after a few years, nobody remembers anyway.
So sad. I'd totally go in and clean up the place. Such disrespect for the deceased.
This is a real shame. Based on flowers and such, families must still come here.
Greetings Mobil Instinct 2. You have Lamont to thank for me finding you. Keep the videos coming and God Bless.

This is really sad, rest in peace to all those who were abandoned there. 🙏🏼
Lots of Italian folks entombed in that mausoleum …Rest in Peace 🇮🇹🙏🏻
The owner or the state needs to put the deceased in a mausoleum where families can visit. But how does someone buy land without seeing it first? 🤔
Lots!!!😄
This upsets me so much
Thank you for taking us; much appreciated 🌝
I have seen the Mausolleum in Rhode Island , because this is my home state and I wonder wasn't somebody supposed to watch over the dead, I am a veteran and I will be cremated and I hope the Veterans cemetery will watch over me when I pass on.
Doesn't matter, our physical bodies will turn to dust eventually. Worry about what happens to your soul brother.
Another great video. That is such a sad situation.
Heartwrenching
That settles it. No burial for me. I've decided not to die.
I’ve told my husband that I don’t want to be burned nor in the ground. After watching some videos about being put in a mausoleum, I think I’ll just be cremated 🥺
That is totally sad. Paying for your resting place only to find out you won't be resting.
Just an idea…they should prisoners to come out to maintain the cemetery out of respect once a month. Give the deceased the respect they deserve.cremation is the way to go..
there are over a hundred people documented buried there..how could the person who bought the property not know
I’m surprised the city, or county doesn’t do something with the people there. Hopefully the souls there have found peace.
Seems to be a lot of abandoned mausoleums in Pennsylvania. Lots of abandoned dead bodies. Creepy.
Pennsylvania should change its name to Transylvania.
Why would anyone want to be laid to "rest" inches away from a stranger?
Not me! But then again, how would I know?
You're funny
You should do my brother's grave. He was buried in Potters Field in 1976 at 16. It was my dream to bury my Mom with him. It just so happened he was the last one buried there before they switched to "stacking graves" so it was done in 2013. Story behind how he even ended up there, the dirty coffin they put him in, all of it was really traumatic what was done from preacher to them lying about a graveside service.
My condolences.
What is 'stacking graves"
what is his name? is he on findagrave?
Another Great video Chris 👍
***THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS VEDIO***
****PEACE OUT : AMEN****
Any updates?
Sometimes regulations in business are good and might have prevented abandoned mausoleoms/graveyards. Horrible for those with loved ones buried here.
I shed a tear for all thoes forgotten 🙏🏽☝🏾
I'm interested in knowing more about how the man who purchased this property didn't know there was a cemetery there. Was information intentionally withheld from him? Should he have have asked more questions and gotten pictures of the property or more of pictures? I've never purchased land and probably never will but this situation gives me some valuable tips on what to learn before possibly buying land.
Exactly
This is the main reason NOT to put your self in a mausoleum. You are better off six feet under with a ordinary grave and a stone, or cremation and a stone. Some just do the cremation and the you can visit a remembrance spot. At least then you will be put to rest forever regardless of what happens above ground.
yeah, all the mausoleums are near abandoned by me, no one will do the job of taking care of these places.
This is Very Very SAD!! Where are the Familys to all these Deceased people?? There is No Excuse for Something like this to happen!! I could not let my family member be here. Pure Neglect!!
At this point, with all of these examples of mausoleums being abandoned, I think it's pretty safe to say that any and all mausoleums have to be looked at as the last possible place to put a loved one after they have passed. It's a matter of economics: the money coming in for the sale of these spots on the wall are a one-time fixed fee and after that, no more money comes in. There is no possible way that the money taken in will sustain the grounds and building upkeep, renewal and in time, total replacement beyond the time frame of the sale. We have even seen here on this site how a cemetery can be completely abandoned as well.
that is really sad but cool video, thanks!
If he stopped paying taxes on it- the county owns it by now
Hello! Great video.
I seen a Mausoleum being built with a wood truss roof on another channel recently , seems completely unacceptable.
Repugnant: the state should intervene and make this situation right. Absolutely unforgivable. 🔥🇺🇸🔥🇺🇸🔥
Yes yes
How could he not know. He signed the paperwork which had to list it. Google earth would show it
Lamont sent me. So sad how the dead are no longer settled after they go Home.
Where did the funds for perpetual care go? ..
I’ve seen this on many channels. I believe volunteers keep the grass cut around the veterans section.
It is hard enough to bury loved ones once. Now having to deal with this may be far too much for some. May not even be able to afford to do it all over again. This is shameful for the living and the dead😢
What a concern. Lets say the owners of the company passed and their children are not concerned. The city should relocate all these bodies. Those cripts are never cheap and their loved ones buried them thinking they would be taken care of like all of us assume.
How sad that they did not disclose to the purchaser that this is a cemetery. It is in so much disrepair. Family members need to get their loved ones out of there. Hopefully someone in the families are alive ☹.️ Took this tour with Lamont awhile back.
It would be horrifying to go visit a loved one stuck in a mausoleum falling in,I feel bad for them.😥
This is in my area, got to be a really sketchy story behind it, I bet the owner just sold it and RAN, I bet the og owner could not afford the up keep.
This is deplorable! How many thousands of dollars was spent on what the family THOUGHT would be revered and taken care of forever. So sad.
Pennsylvania is actually a pretty backwards ass state, in most states the county, or state government would step in and re-intern these bodies elsewhere, but not Pennsylvania.
Those flowers look fresh so ppl still come 2 pay their respect
That is very sad. I’m guessing that the families of those buried there probably don’t even know about the conditions.
Pennsylvania obviously sucks on their state oversight/ decency.
It’s private property. Is it the state’s job to oversee private property?
@@danielscott1040 Ok, decency then. It is the state's job of overseeing the vandals who spray paint all Pa.'s mountaintops. Are you a sprayer, by chance?
@@AmericanPatriot-bp7cu not at all.
This is very sad... What a horrible display of disrespect for the dearly departed. I do have a little sympathy, and feel bad for the guy who bought the place as he claims that he wasn't told about the mausoleum on the property and had this all dumped in his lap. It's an important lesson on buying property via online auctions, site unseen. It's always a good idea to do an inspection or at least visit the location look at what's on the property before purchasing it and signing on the dotted lines. I sure do hope that everyone there is relocated and handled with the dignity and respect that they deserve.
Wow, great video as always! Thanks!
I was just about to say the same thing you did...but you beat me too it..."I'm getting cremated"...lololol
And I'm older then you and closer to that stage...lololol
It's stupid putting people in buildings in the first place.
Ya a bit strange.
I agree. All that maintenance for years and years for dead bodies. I can see how in the past there would be a need for mausoleums and crypts because of the lack of land and the religious beliefs of time and place. If my understanding is correct the Catholic church no longer prohibits cremation. I'm glad that I already have plans made for my own cremation. My family has almost died out. I said to scatter my ashes rather than put them in the family plot in a grave that no one will visit.
It’s sad that these people and their families are being disrespected. I think the state should be responsible for putting it back the way it was and hire some care takers.
That ladder is for people to be able to put flowers up on the upper levels.
I was shocked watching this video! Many of the deceased names that I was able to make out were from the 80’s 90’s etc. also many of the names were Italian. Am sure their families may not be aware. Isn’t there someone in the county that you can call?
I'm sure the dead don't care......
Some people bought land and used it as a cemetery. People paid good money to have their loved ones buried there. Then some nefarious day, the owners of the cemetery sold the land, and did not care what it'd happen to the graves in the cemetery. This is HORRIFIC, very sad, tragic to see. How the bodies in those graves of that mausoleum and other ones, are going to be evicted from the cemetery? This is sinister, upsetting to see. I feel for the relatives of the dead people buried there, how they must feel. How callous, irresponsible, evil from the owners of the cemetery to do. Sell the land and ask the new owner to discard the graves or take care of them. Like in a horror movie. This REALLY death. It's so scary. I felt the huge wave of sorrow, abandonment, death. May their souls find peace
such a strange place. i dont know how to describe it, it kind of doesn't look like a sturdy enough building to be a mausoleum, i mean it looks like a shed. not somewhere that you would look at and say yes i have confidence that i can rest here forever after i die..
So Sad!
Amen to that I really dont see the point in being put in a casket and going underground when no one is gonna show up to your grave site anyways
Die? Dont DIE!! I like your videos
Until my grandmother passed 4 years ago I wanted to be cremated too. I would've talked her out of it, if I'd known how it would be handled. It may just be the company that we chose, however. Loaded her with many other deceased in a trailer, and taken to a big slaughterhouse-looking crematorium off the freeway in San Antonio.
We naively had the impression that she'd be cremated on the premises of the place where we paid the money and selected the urn.
Sounds careless, it's not normally done like that
🤭😭😭
This is really sad
Cemeteries and mausoleums were designed mostly with the living in mind...the business of death...
If you are more environmentally minded, there are some non-traditional, eco-friendly burial ideas, with the added benefit that many of these environmentally friendly ideas are also less expensive than the traditional options...
Aquamation...Mushroom Burial Suit...Green Burial...Sea Burial...Recomposition...
File a lawsuit cause these were pre paid for...a agreement was made for up keep ..
Families of people interred in the mausoleum need to find what they should need to do to retrieve their loved one and transport them to a different cemetery that is being reliably maintained. They can pursue legal action later.
Don't leave your loved one's remains exposed and mistreated. Expeditiously folks,....get your loved ones remains out legally, and then get them taken care of properly and respectfully.
Hi Chris good to see you...you'd be surprised how interesting junk inside a building can be well at least for me lol.
Hi, Chris, I come to you via Lamont At Large.
Where in Pennsylvania is this?
Yes creamation is looking good
Lamont sent me. Subbed.
Failure to Perform on Perpetuity Agreements, finding next of kin to press such matters, the online sales contract possibly not having the disclosure clauses required, State and local authorities not persuing either former or present owners with Notification of Dangerous Property.
This is such a snarl of entangled legal problems that may never be resolved.
Nice Coverage
🌳🍃🇮🇳🍃🌳
Does anyone know what township this is?
So sad!
I doubt that the building will come crashing down, Looks like it's all Solid Concrete
I'm just curious how do you know they all haven't been removed?
such a shame how someone could let it get in that condition, so disrespectful to the people resting there
you'd think the buyer would have just deeded over the cemetary/mausoleum grounds, to the town.. or something. I mean this seems like purposeful disrespect to the dead and trauma to their families, once the owner DID become aware (if they really were unaware when they bought). this is really sad.
This is terrible. Whomever owned this should have made arrangements with the families about relocating their loved ones. Now the current owner is stuck with all this. It appears to have been very heavily vandalized over the years.
Thanks guys it is terrible, I seen lamont at large here
Nothing is forever. But that is not in the mix when it is time to put some one in the mauseleum. Sad stuff.
This pissed me off.
Remember this folks, buying online is risky business.
I hope the buyer isn't held responsible, as he shouldn't be.
How can you say the owner isn't responsible for this? He most certainly is responsible. As for him not knowing that's ludicrous. Google shows you what your buying before you make that purchase. He is just saying that to not pay taxes and the upkeep of this property. To say he is not responsible is ridiculous
Dang you're by Seven Tubs.
Scary part of not being cremated. If the care for the veterans piece why don’t they mow the entire thing? It’s a small cemetery!
Reminds me of my neighbours and the sensless battles over mowing a shared nature-strip.
