IMO the best amp Mesa builds. Very open and crunchy. No lower mid mud. Great amp! The Reborn also has the awesome clean channel and Pushed mode for more vintage rock sounds.
The So Real part gave me goosebumps. What a pristine clean tone, almost acoustic.
This MW version is the definitive Rectifier. I'm in love with mine.
I've had the 2x12 Roadster combo since 08 and i'm really leaning towards one of these. Love the 4 channels but i'm feeling like there is something missing. Especially once you hear this or a Mark v demo.

Hands down best demo of this amp. Perfect amount of bass dialed in, too many demos of this amp sound so flubby and are over-saturated.
Sounds awesome. I used to have a Tripe Rec from 2004 and I fully agree that Ch 2 was excellent as well. I can't get over that clean sound here also, that sounds lovely.
Well, THAT settles it...if you had this amp and a C+, you actually would have pretty much EVERYTHING covered tone-wise unless you just HAD to be an absolute purist and own the original amps. No offense to other amp lovers, and I know I’m somewhat biased, but this proves just how damn good Mesa stuff is. Shows how great Blake’s ear and playing is, too! As always, nice job Bro!🤘🏻

This video is outstanding. The Multi-Watt dual rec is one of the best, most flexible, amps on the market.
Of course like a lot of folks I’ve searched and listened on TH-cam for all sorts of amps. Like all of them. Revv, Bogner, Marshall, and many many to name. But I’ll tell you what dude, this one sounds so good and versatile. It can really cover so many styles. Your playing is great as well of course. I have reconsidered getting a Friedman now that I’ve heard this clip again.

Love the sounds! If you go on 'spongy' mode with Modern setting and gain rolled back a bit, you can nail the EVH brown sound with ease. I was surprised this amp is capable of so much. Also, I find the lead tones are killer on Vintage mode. Not as tight and snappy as a Mark amp, but still liquid with tons of sustain and depth.
I’m still to this day constantly impressed with the versatility of a rectifier. There are so many little options to tweak to get exactly what you’re looking for in the moment/day to day

that little ringing you hear when he stops playing is from the strings above the nut. high gain tones sometimes run into that problem and you can deal with it when recording by using a bit of electrical tape or something laid across the strings to mute them

I heard they fixed the fuzziness dual recs are notorious for with the multi watt. Definitely sounds like it from this video. This sounds killer!
Looks like the loop was bypassed. If so that will be a major reason why this demo sounds better than most. Bypassing the loop really brings out the definition in the mids and reduces the fizz. It also helps that the volume was turned up a decent amount.

Dude 80s riffs sounds great through rectos. I wish people would play more stuff like van halen or white snake through them but don't get me wrong it still sounds great with 90s nu metal

My Les Paul has that same exact high pitched annoying ringing sound you can hear in between riffs...you can definitely hear it in the first riff you played. A little duct tape on the strings above the nut makes it go away. Other than that, this sounds fantastic...This is really a prime example of what a Dual Rectifier can sound like. Nicely done!

Man you make this sound smooth and pleasant. What mic(s) did you use for recording? I’m think i will remove silver jubilee from my setup and start using my vh2 with the dual. Was gonna swap the recto to vh2 to be used with my marshall, but 2nd channel on the dual is just so fine. Dual and vh2 is pretty solid setup for smaller gigs. Rock on.
I’m sold I’m going to order one I’ve got a Marshall jcm900 dual reverb and it doesn’t come close to this I love that sound Awesome video hope to see more TOOL stuff

Also, have you ever played the Badlander and compared it with this? To me it seems the Badlander sounds sort of like a cross between the dual recto and mark series.

The tonal range found in the mark series is absolutely remarkable, especially the Mark iic+. You can go from SRV to face melting solos with just a few tweaks. I love the rectos too as a big fan of both fuzz and distortion and a recto's gain channel sounds like a nice mix of both.
