OMSI 2 - Optare Solo - VIX Mod - Westcountry 3.03a - Route 1B

So, whilst digging through my old OMSI files/backups. I came across an old E400MMC version which still had the VIX TP5800 machine in.
So I spent most of a day in August to try and get it working in the Solo.
Note: this hasn’t been ripped, converted, imported to blender or anything. It’s using PermAnim. Which is able to move fixed files around in the model config files - yes, I can prove this if I have to!
I had to remake the ticket for it as the original one wasn’t playing ball with the rotation and the new permanim position. Hence why it is a different ticket. It’s a bit wonky still, but it’s understandable, being a new model.
No, I can’t release this as I don’t have, and probably won’t get permission to share the model files, scripts, textures sounds for the machine. But, if you have an old VIX backup. I may be able to assist you doing this mod for yourself!
But again, I will NOT be sharing ANY FILES owned by SP for this mod.

You would only have the files if you baked them up before it was removed - if you didn’t, you won’t have them

What I want to know is why SP got rid of the VIX ticket machine on the E400MMC and Streetlite, Licensing issues perhaps?

Situation with this sucks tbh, since Stagecoach is one of if not the biggest bus company in the uk and pretty sure they only using vix, how can you have their buses without the correct ticket machine when we literally had one and it got taken away
Wouldn't think it would be licensing since they could probably just remove the branding.. ? as far as i know it was because the quality of it was lower than what SP wanted.
Doubt we will ever get another one in omsi again yet we can have 3+ different ticketers and however many wayfarers a million or so.

@@asjbfjbkaw Idk, I know in Manchester on the Bee Network, Stagecoach have to use Ticketers instead of TP5800s.
I have no idea why SP would think the quality was too low because from when I used it on Stagecoach spec Streetlites it was as accurate as I could tell from traveling on Stagecoach buses every day.

@@Retroelectronic Oh right, I didn't know about bee network using ticketers it makes sense though, I agree though I always thought it was fine as well. That's just what I could gather from reading some in the discord server.

Hi chloe, I love the video the e400 ep that u made was fantastic but I got 2 problems my destination board is mixed up and my ticketer is empty so like I don't have a time or ticket options

Thank you! The destinations are probably a HOF issue, the ticket machine issue can be sorted by downloading and installing the Enviro 200MMC,I forgot to include the ticketer fonts with the download, sorry! But thank you for reminding me to include them with the updates 🙂
