I love these videos, OEC G&V please make more! i tried finding the page on facebook (used link on the channel page) but the facebook page gave an error saying the page does not exist anymore
as I read the comments I've seen how much these videos help current members of the military and ones panning on joining (like me) and would just like to say thank you for creating the videos they're informative and instructive to anyone even those without any military knowledge
just like for you guys to know you're work is incredibly appreciated and to please make more! Videos like this in an age of technology where anyone can access them, videos like this are extremely helpful and important for the public and a great refresher for any in service member! (sorry for spamming this on all your videos just want to make sure you guys know you're doing an incredibly important public service! and that its appreciated)

Necro'ing the comment, but the team leader on point allows important situational awareness to be put on the individual, aforementioned team leader, who has the duty of commanding maneuvers and fire control. Wouldn't you agree that benefit far outweighs the added risk of being on point?

@@mrdankmemesbo1157 In general, this guide refers to open movement in open spaces. As for urban environments, the risk for all members of a team should be minimal at all times, and often leading from the front with high risk does more good than bad, as I've stated before. In an environment with many doors, many windows, many alleyways, having that extra situational awareness makes it easier to direct your team. However, it is more often true that formations are more tightly packed in these environments, as they provide a far bigger concentration of cover and concealment anyway.
Cover woodland/jungle combat and methods used, what exactly the "nothing" is people are shooting at as said in combat footage comments. Explain how combat techniques of fire, suppression, individual movement techniques, squad formations and camouflage all work together. Use an example of 2 squads against a modernized force with effective optics, weapons and equal modern tech. Split them into 2 fireteams for each squad, demonstrate multiple courses of action to keep the US forces alive.
1)People aren't shooting at nothing during combat in woodland environments , they are shooting at the direction of enemy fire. 2)What exactly do you mean by "combat techniques of fire" ? 3) What do you want to know about suppressive fire ? It's not really that complicated. 4) They have already covered IMTs and squad movement formations. 5) Watch Brent0331 and a video on YT called "individual fieldcraft". 5) Optics and modern tech don't guarantee success. They are only 1 factor that is always overrated , watch military history visualised's video about it , what matters the most is tactical , operational and strategic skill. Having optics and modern tech doesn't make you equal. 6) Why split every squad to 2 fireteams ? That's completely situationally dependent. 7) And lastly they did exactly that , watch their "Jisr of Al Dorea" series , it is excellent.
This channel makes training videos for the military. I'm not sure they do viewer requests. Your best bet is to read some field manuals on infantry tactics online.
@@jackie520 I asked if they could explain what the "nothing" other people comment about. Obviously i know what im talking about by terms i use, i know what they are shooting at. Im asking for it in a video of this format to teach others. Me using term combat techniques of fire implies i know what suppression is. You just wanted to try and appear smarter by saying "its not complicated" suppression is part of combat techniques of fire.
@ZackTactical34 I actually asked for them to make it as part of a different video under the scenario i laid out in my original comment. Obviously its not the point of this video, as i asked for something different. Im not asking for mentioned topics to be covered down the road individually, im asking for it all to come together. People piss me off point out obvious, i know what this video was. Other douche tried to act like he knew more subjects.
