I just don't understand why Tony didn't put a program together based on the attention the heat was getting? He should've done what Vince would do...put it in the ring. It's a shame that they may never draw the money that could've been made of this feud.
IKR? They could had MONTHS of feuds / programming ready right there. CM Punk having a promo battle with Adam Page leading to the PPV. CM Punk & FTR feuding with The Young Bucks and turning the Bucks heel and actually making them interesting. It would give the Bucks something more to do than "will Page team with the Bucks? will Kenny Omega team with the Bucks?" It would give AEW a buzz again. But no, let's throw guys into the ring without really investing the audience into it. That explains a lot about the ratings and attendance now.

@DudeinGA I think you nailed it perfectly. Aew has problems telling a story both on the mic and in the ring. The girls kicking out of each other's finisher doing high risk after high risk move without setting anything up and the story lines are rushed

Notice, if you look back at CM Punks AEW stint, everything was ALL GOOD until he ran into the elite…..Think about that. Once he started working with them is when the real problems started, why? Because the elite thought that their Indy stardom was on the same level as an ACTUAL superstar, UNTIL CM Punk showed up and showed them what a megastar really is.

If Punk was so big then he should have worked hard and started AEW,the fact is viewership declined whilst he was still in AEW,AEW was drawing a million during the Elite era but things started to change when Kenny left during his injury Cm Punk became the Main Character whilst Hamgman was champ,viewership declined....He is in WWE now viewership is still declining in The WWE....Punk fans worship the guy and will never find him wrong,his word is law to them...I will not say who was right and who was wrong coz I only know Punks side of the Story

How hard would it have been for Tony to just step up and squash this whole thing before it ever got to this point? He could have called a meeting between all parties involved. How did the Bucks not know that Punk had nothing to do with Cabana not being on tv or his contract situation? It doesn't add up. Why sabotage your top attraction if you're in the business of making money?

He doesn't know a thing about the business, he should just sign checks and let a wrestling person run his company, he should neither be seen or heard.
Because he is NOT good with handling conflict so he personally has to deflect all issues, which Does Not Work. That is an inevitable recipe for disaster. I hope he chooses to correct Himself on that and learn how to deal with it and how to delegate.. then AEW will be just as good a product as watching WWE. But as long as he won't take things on and deflects his own faults...since his privilege has always allowed him to side step anything, then it is an uphill battle. And we will keep seeing Stupid stuff like how he did Swerve right after his ppv win and cut his steam not making him the Biggest deal around as World Champ.
