@williammally4976 you want to get an R.C. engine and run it with the garage doors shut. That stuff is a narcotic. It makes you feel young and foolish. And if an attractive female is present, randy.
@@oldguysoldbikes Your forgiven, was a Viet Nam Brown water navy vet myself and can assure you i understand. i to have been known to say the F-Bomb from tome to time.
I just got a 1973 kawasaki g4 100 and i almost have it running. Only thing is my peacock valve is stuck completely and my fuel line filter dry rotted. Would I be able to run a straight line without the filter? The tank is not the best inside but not completely rusted. Also would I be able to get any peacock tbag would fit that bike and use it?
I wouldn’t ride it without a fuel filter unless you completely do a tank cleaning including a rust treatment. Go get 2 gallons of distilled white vinegar. Put it in the tank and leave it sit for a couple days. Get some loose hardware, dump half the vinegar out and add the hardware to the tank. Rotate it and shake it around for about 5 minutes. Dump out the vinegar and the hardware and flush the tank repeatedly until the water comes out clean. Go to Amazon or eBay and find a replacement petcock. You can buy a box of 100 1/4 - 20 nuts fairly cheaply at any home improvement store if you don’t have a collection of hardware to use.
Jack don't inhale so much at a time! LOL That stuff will get ya pal!
I hear ya William. If I just quit breathing I wouldn't need to worry about coughing would I.

Hi, Jack
Good afternoon Frank.
It's called a wee clip, because it goes weeeee as it flies across the shop. Have a great week Jack.
Great job Jack. Those clips can be an real pain to get to clip in at times.
Thanks Don. I try not to use that particular expletive, but this time I thought it appropriate so I left it in.
Hey brother
Back-at-cha Cain.
Those clips are a pain.
Luckily the exact one was in my HF box. I did find the original about 2 yard away from where I was working.
like to have a dime every time i did that, lost a valve spring keeper the same way, but i didn't say a bad word. LOL
I don't slip often, but when I do, I use all the proper terminology that I learned in my 8 years of Navy service

Here’s the part number for the petcock. They’re available for as little as $13 on eBay 51023-1123
