Website says 40 ft is the length limit. Would it be tough to get a 38 ft diesel pusher into 1st row at Santa Cruz side? I think sante Rosa is out of the question. It was our Fav when we owned a 28 ft class C. But now I own this 38 ft Class A. We love it but afraid to make a res at Carpinteria (our favorite). Any info helps thank you. Great informative video
Ha thanks Horrible Angler! Had to cancel our trip in August to Lake Collins this year due to unforeseen circumstances. Already booked for 2022 in August though. 👍
I stayed there in 1974 and there was only a small campground then and where the RV's are now was all picnic spots with free natural gas stoves in every site including camping sites but there was no electricity then there was a couple of water spickets for the campground I was there for October and November and we only paid 1.00 a day back then I was trying to find a job to move there it is a nice small city with Avacodo orchards and some warehouses for citrus not far from the campground I never did find a job I was young and had long hair and jobs were hard to find in '74 the waves were great in Carpinteria I surfed for the first time there.

Thanks for sharing some of your memories of Carp. Sure sounds like it has changed a lot. $1 a day…wow!
A bunch of improvements since ‘74.
You are right, jobs were hard to find back then. Now too many don’t want to work.
Any clams there?
We didn't go clamming, but from what I've been told you can find them in Carp!
