Great video! Im looking for good stability, good rubber grip, and warmup on treadmill and light weight more movement based hiit training! I’m thinking of the cloud pulse, x3, or rapid move? I tried on the cloud pulse and found the size from heel to toe fine but the width was a bit wide for me! Felt for lateral movements it would be a problem as might feet kind of move! Might have to get used to it! Do you feel for narrow feet it would be better to size down? Also I’m curious to know what shoe would you recommend for outdoor hiit workouts or gyms that have concrete?
Hi Jake, have you try the cloud x3 AD version? I feel for versatile training, this version feels a bit better as it hug your feet a little better and heel locked
@@RamaRizki I’ve tried them on but didn’t buy them: they’re on my to do list but I spent too much on shoes last month 😂 I should have that review by end of May!
Thanks for the review! I have slightly wide feet and usually wear different sizes. The Cloudmonster 2 fits me perfectly, but I had to size up by half in the original Cloudmonster. Now I’m looking for a gym shoe for HIIT, kettlebell swings, dumbbells, medium weightlifting, and light jumps. I have a slight arch, so flat insoles feel uncomfortable. I’m torn between the Cloudpulse and Cloudnova X, but I’ll likely need to order online. Which do you think would work best? Thanks!
Just want to say thank you! From the bottom of my hearrtttttttt! I'm a plus size flat foot female who is training for the deka fit. I've been needing a good shoe and opted for the pulse after seeing your reviews and reading more on reddit etc. They are true to size even for my hobbit flat feet 😅 you're amazing! I'll be sharing this page with all my gym fam! Thank you so much!!! ❤🥺🥹🥺🥹🥺 it's always so hard for me to find shoes! #blessed
great review, I tried the Cloud X3 but my heel feel uncomfortable due to unpadded heel side. Is that normal or because I'm used to wear the padded heel shoes?
I'm between on cloudrunner 2 or on X3 AD, I just want one that I can do some crossfit at the gym, running and walking on road like 5k miles max and HIIT like jump rope, squats, treadmill. Which one should I get? can cloudrunner 2 do all of the above? or X3 is better?
Hi Jake I'm new to the channel but have watched a lot of your videos talking about the x3. I'm pretty set on trying a pair of ON shoes and those were the model I was definitely leaning towards. I'm looking for something that I can run in (3-4 miles), HIIT and some occasional light weights, so it sounds like x3 could be the way to go, do you agree?
UPDATE: I actually went and tried on a pair of the x3 and I thought it was too low in the heel and also felt like it was pretty uncomfortable around the top of the ankle. I tried on some Cloudswift 3s and really liked them. Do you think those would be a good running / training shoe?
To an extent and I feel that - the boot can be annoying in the Cloud X3. The CloudSwift is a dedicated running shoe so you can use it to extent, but your runway for feeling stable when lifting will be shorter.
@@thatfitfriend There are so many different ON shoes that it's overwhelming. I just want one that I can do some HIIT stuff like jump rope, burpees and do some treadmill and stairclimber work. But it seems hard to find one that are comfortable to run in AND you're able to do the other stuff.
@@corykamerschak6098 yeah, then you should be fine! Any time you’re using a runner for training you just have to keep an eye on midsole stability when lifting but for your case - you should be set! You’re telling me, I’m overwhelmed daily and I know these shoes like the back of my hand 😂
F-Fly all day, butttttt if you traditionally like thicker shoes then go CloudPulse because they'll fit your context better. Just depends on what you're after regarding midsole fit/feel!

Thank you - Potentially size down if the length isn't super crazy for you!
For outdoor sessions: Rapidmove, Airzoom TR 1, or Inov-8 F-Fly!

Thank you for checking it out.
My gut says the CloudPulse would be the move here! Should fit true to size, too.
Have to have the pup cameo!
Always

I really appreciate that. Shout if you ever have additional Qs.
great review, I tried the Cloud X3 but my heel feel uncomfortable due to unpadded heel side. Is that normal or because I'm used to wear the padded heel shoes?
Nah, the On Cloud X 3 had an off rigid heel. The Cloud X 4 improved on this. You're def not an anomaly in feeling that!
and thank you!

Cloudrunner would prob be fine as long as you temper your stability expectations with them! I'd start there and go X3 if they feel way too plush
@@thatfitfriend thanks a lot! the thing is that with every previous shoe I had for gym/running etc I could feel the floor if you know what I mean
@@nicholasl8778 in that case, cloud runner will be the move if you want a softer ride!

Cloudpulse!

Need an opinion before purchasing ( Cloudpulse or Noble Impact ) for Gym Training.
NOBULL Impact if you’re lifting, too

I'd only buy those trainers for aesthetics.
Fair enough
