      They are really so similar that I would suggest buying which ever one you can get for the best price!

    These look nice but people have been using regular On running shoes for gym. They were more gym shoes than running shoes until recently.
    I have a pair of Rebook Nano X for gym use. They are the heaviest shoes I have and built absolutely like a tank. They are going to last forever with my use 🤣They are primarily designed for Cross-Fit and moderate weightlifting (not very heavy powerlifting) in mind though newer Nano's looks more versatile and lighter. If I am planning to run in the gym more than a mile, I generally take a pair of real running shoes as well.

      @@TolunayOrkun I’ve been running in the Cloudsurfer Next, and they definitely seem firm enough, and a low enough stack, to be a good gym shoe. Plus they feel better to run in. 🤷🏻‍♂️

      My pair is definitely very white, but they're also available in black and a brown-ish color.

    They look like a great foundation for the gym!

      They really are! I was surprised how much more stable I feel in the gym after just using running shoes before.

    They look great! I need a good shoe for work and walking. I have severe osteoarthritis in my knees. I currently have the On CloudMonsters, while the are good for sometime while walking, I find that they are too squishy for work where I up and down from my desk. I feel like I need something a little more firm. But I’ve bought so many shoes in the past month, that I’m about to give up. I have On Cloud’s, Brooks, Hoka’s, Puma, Adidas, Nike and Sketchers. The Brooks make my knees feel the best, but they’re a little too stiff for my feet. Help!

      The best advice I can offer is to find somewhere that has a good return policy. You should be able to avoid any more bad shoes if you can wear them around your house to try them before deciding to keep them.
      Which Brooks did you buy that make your knees feel good? These Cloudpulse are quite stiff and firm, which I would normally say could work for you, but if your Brooks are too stiff, then probably not.

      @@its_Matt_B_ I have the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22’s. I’ve also been looking at the Brooks Ghost Max or the Ghost Max 2 due to the thickness of the soles. I don’t know how cushioned they are though.

    • @its_Matt_B_
      @its_Matt_B_  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Ness7386 The Ghost has a few mm of stack height less than the Adrenaline GTS and the Ghost Max has a little more. The differences are so minor that i'm not sure the difference in cushioning will be noticable when walking. FYI, The Ghost is Brooks' most popular shoe.

      @@its_Matt_B_ I think I’ll give the Ghost Max 2 a try. I also ordered the On Cloud Pulse to try them on at home. Thx for your help!

    When you lift a weight and it makes you grunt, put it down. Anyhoo, as runners, we have a collection of retired shoes we can use as gym shoes. I don't see the necessity of purchasing a "gym-specific" shoe, which sounds like marketing hoohah to me. Just saying. Thx, Matt.

      @@MyFatAdaptedLife Yeah, I’m on the same page as you. We runners don’t really need anymore shoes. I did feel more stable in the gym, but I tend to think any firm shoe would have the same effect.
