cannot wait for the review of this gal, it really seems Figma's grown a lot from the MOM and Prime 3 designs and made Dread Suit Samus, THE Samus!
I got mine from AmiAmi, it costed me around $80, of course with shipping is like $19 more, but it already arrived in the US, and what I like is that you pay your pre-orders once the item is ready for shipping, that helped me save money for it.

Last I checked, my preorder is being processed. I absolutely love Dread, and was super excited when they announced this. This unboxing has me even more excited.
The double jointed knees for this figure gives me hope that their Tears of the Kingdom Link figure won't have any issues as Good Smile slowly starts to phase out their old joint system. That is, if they at any point remember that they unveiled that figure...

They'd have to retool the sculpt to do the other suits if they want to be accurate. Her shoulder pauldrons get bigger and more ornate with each upgrade. The green hightlights on her chest get bigger and go further down her body, and the colored armor covers her knees on the Varia suit, and the Gravity Suit thighs armor flairs outward.
That said, I'd buy each suit. I'd also take a purple repaint of the Prime 3 Varia suit even if that might not be accurate.
The only parts that could be reused and still be accurate are the helmet and arm cannon
Ordered from GoodSmile US which was probably a mistake... and no other figma interest me for now aside from the E.M.M.I. which I did NOT order. Even when buying it, I knew it was going to be overpriced because GoodSmile... but this is the only Samus we may get for a VERY long while and I love Metroid more than DOOM, Star Wars, Batman... all of these franchises. I missed on the Prime 3 re-release and now it's absurd in the aftermarket. I cannot wait to have this one in hand and posed next to the Doom Slayer, Ahsoka, Vader... I don't care. I have the Special Edition of Metroid Dread so it'll go next to it.
Why was Goodsmile US a mistake? That's where I ordered mine from...

@@scolioreset While that sucks I'm in the US. Should I have any problems with it arriving? Got an email about a month ago saying Samus should be shipping soon but nothing since.
@@venomsjunkmailBooked for shipment, doesn’t mean it’s ready yet. I think we can expect it for December at best or January at worst. Some retailers got theirs and that’s how it is.

There are no options for repaints. The Varia and Gravity suits would both have to be entirely new sculpts. The only thing they could reuse is the helmet and arm cannon.

For all of Good Smile’s problems and shortcomings these days they still make a banger Samus figure. (Somehow they make her better every time!!)
Wow the figure is beautiful I played the game and finished it and I love it I love Metroid Prime and Dread now I’m playing Metroid Samus Return on my 3ds it’s Super nice in 3D

Dread was my first full game experience, and I’ve loved the series since.
I’d love to have this figure but she’s expensive and sold out.
She's a lot more expensive now and will be a lot more expensive in the future. I'm looking around and some places that still have her available lists her at $130-150 😂😭

If you are, be aware that she's more expensive and harder to find now. Don't quote me on this, but if trends are anything to go by, she'll become much more expensive later down the line unless they come out with rereleases.

I just got mine! i got it and Demon's souls fluted armour the same month and those are favorite games from there respective consoles and they're both amazing!
