From what I gathered, it's setup for attachments but I don't think Ridgid has actually come out with any. Whether they ever will is to be seen. I agree, it would be nice to have a few more options. The head itself though, you "might" be able to find the same screw pattern from another manufacturer and get it to work, but that's a lot of shotgun to figure it out.
