      All good ! Got it done
      Just the supercharger bolts are a worry screwing them back down as if over torqued or cross threaded they are stuffed and you are stuffed pretty much

    Great video, thanks. Any idea of a good mechanic in North East Melbourne that would be trustworthy and capable of doing this job?

    • @CurtisLSA
      @CurtisLSA  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      To be honest I don’t know about Melbourne shops or workshops but normally any LS specialist could do this for you

    Hi mate. Awesome video. In the video you mentioned you would add a document with the torque settings (instruction document for pulley changing??). Do you have that that you can share or maybe just provide the name of it? Cheers

      Thanks for watching and subscribing
      Here is the page for the hows too - its not the official document for the torque settings but can be found here on this website - www.lingenfelter.com/PDFdownloads/L950066509.pdf
      WORD OR WARNING - the bolts holding the blower down are very fragile . Take extreme care when removing as i had someone message me saying they over torqued the bolts and they snapped inside the blower.

    Any issues since you have put in the new solid isolator? I've heard people putting in certain brands and still having issues. ZZPerformance or Metco company. Lingenfilter Isolater people haven't had any issues.

    • @CurtisLSA
      @CurtisLSA  ปีที่แล้ว

      hmm not heard about it being an issue after its been changed but mine is making a noise again im told the bearings might be gone in the snout . Im getting a bigger 2650 in a couple of months time so will get the existing fixed and then put on my second V8

    Hi Matt great job good video there is a lot of work in doing this is your top pulley done or just the crank pulley ?

    • @CurtisLSA
      @CurtisLSA  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Was just top pulley yeah , would need to get it to a mechanic for the crank as dont have many tools to do lots of work

      @@CurtisLSA is the top pulley easy to do or is it same process as changing out to the solid coupling

      @@HOONRZ Same process. You will need a pulley removal tool, not easy to do

    how do you find the green coupler? mine is still slightly noisy when cold.

    • @CurtisLSA
      @CurtisLSA  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Might be the bearings in the snout as mine is still making noise also a little after it being changed . Waiting on next upgrades for tuner to have a deeper look at it

    How much time did it take you to complete the job?

    • @CurtisLSA
      @CurtisLSA  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Took about 3-4 hours, by time the sealant dried and all put back together

    • @CrazyAboutVinylRecords
      @CrazyAboutVinylRecords 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CurtisLSA Thanks. A performance shop told me 8 hours of labor. They said the engine cradle needed to be lowered to gain access to the rear bolts. I can't say I was enthusiastic about the quote or the approach. So I will probably look elsewhere.

  • @angelortigala2010

    How much will this job cost at a shop?

    • @CurtisLSA
      @CurtisLSA  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm maybe 500-1000 not to sure .
      It’s more labour intensive then anything .
      Did ask before I did mine myself for a few other guys who got a mechanic to do it and they advised was yeah an extra 500+ on the invoice for it inc the coupling
