This was an awesome build for us. John got to do a lot of frame work around the grip safety & knocked down the bottom corners to match up with the bend of the mainspring housing. Everything is new & custom fitted except for the slide, frame & barrel. It has a 3.5 pull on the trigger & the 1911 runs & looks great! Here is what we did...

A job like this it hard to nail down an exact quote. But parts alone were about $700.00 Duracoat was $300.00 Then you have to add the labor.

Does the extended slide lock not interfere with the Crimson trace grips? or did you take part of the grips to fit it? i have a SW 1911 with crimson trace but they seem a bit thick.

You're going to have to find one used, they were banned from import back in the 90s.

Chinese 1911 pistol....$400 / Aftermarket parts....$1000 / Labor for custom work...$??? --- Resale value after all said and done...$650. Because, at the end of the day, its STILL a Norinco. The ONLY way this makes financial sense is if you can do the work yourself, otherwise its just money pissed away.

I would take a bone stock Norinco over a colt any day. Best 400 bucks you'll ever spend.
