    Thank you +++ for sharing all of your knowledge.
    I build a Apogee 40 from an ECM Kit (balsa) long time ago and this Apogee remains my best RC experience.
    I took long time to watch an learn from your web (wind and wings) and I now will try to do an composite Apogee "hayabusa-style".
    For a beginner like me would you recommend me (for the wing) to try first with glass and aramid or direct to try with carbon ?

      Thank you for watching my video and website. You can do it!

      Thank you for watching my video and website. As for the first try for bagging, I recommend carbon spread like "Carboline SC39/2/45 Spread +/- 45° 39g/m²" because easy to treat. Actually glass cloth and aramid are difficult to treat aside from price.

    Hey. Can you pleas explane the purpose of spraying the glas/aramid/carbon fabric, befor start molding it? And what is the product you spray it with?
    Thank you

      The spray is "3M 77 spray adhesive " or "3M 55 spray adhesive ", which is used to paste the cloth to the mold.

    What kind of super glue are you using in the bottle with blue lable ? You use the super glue to hard the carbon clothes instead of epoxy ?!

    • @kousakunin2008
      @kousakunin2008  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is mold release wax and liquid(PVA)
      The resin is epoxy.

    Awesome!..thank you for sharing your building methods, one question, what did you use as mold for the boom?

      I use Hyperflight 18mm - 8mm x 1m Tapered Carbon Boom.
      88 cm (narrow end cut) to save shipping cost.
      Web site is below.

    hello nice job I have a question
    At the fuslage design, what angle should the wing be made relative to the elevator?

    • @kousakunin2008
      @kousakunin2008  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The angle of attach is 1.0-1.5degree

    Hello and thank you for sharing your instructional video! But...Am I missing something? Do u happen to have a link where I can go to get more detailed instruction (i.e. materials, pastes, etc. that you are using)? Like how in the heck did you make that "Cigar-Shaped" fuselage? I'd like to use wings (I hav extra) from my UMX Radian and build some kind of DLG out of it! Thank you in advance for sharing!! : )

      I forgot to ask you (if I may), couldn't I just use styrofoam instead of balsa for the mold?

    Amazing results! I have spent many hours trying to figure out how I could make a DLG, but just couldn't get it. Do you have a build thread of this somewhere? I'd love to see these same photos/videos much slower and with a few words of explanation (cloth weights, etc). How did you make the boom? I couldn't follow it in the video, it was too fast. Thanks in advance!

      You can see the details at my website below.
      kousaku.sakura.ne.jp/RC/fuselage.htm
      I'm currently uploading the video of each process while making a new DLG, so I will upload another video of fuselage in the near future.

    Too bad you had to play this at mach9 and no explanation as to why or what you were doing. These videos are not very helpful.
