"Now, bring me that horizon" "So tell me, what's become of my ship" "Drink up me hearties yo ho" "It's a pirate's life for me" "I have a rendezvous beyond my beloved horizon"
This track manages to caprure the essence of the entire trilogy in less than 5 minutes of music: catchy, dynamic, joyful, adventurous... nothing less than epic!
I love how this song just sums up the whole trilogy. Whenever I hear it, Jack's crazy mischief, then sword fights and ship battles, then Will's and Elizabeth's beautiful romance, and just oh my goodness! I love this film series so much!
This was such a spectacular "benediction" that I haven't been able to bring myself to see any of the later Pirates movies. This movie soundtrack was perfect, and the end credits music was the perfect ending. Hans Zimmer is truly a genius, and I love the percussion part.
orgxiii4ever My favorite part starts at 2:18 and all the way to the end of the song. This is definitely my favorite movie soundtrack. All I can say about it is it's amazing...
From 3:00 onward is my favourite piece of music in any film, it’s moving epic, and sad, chills!!!! I really want a 6th film with the original 3 one last time but with good writers and the original creators, make it more like the og trilogy one last time!!
One of my favorite film scores. By far my favorite piece in the entire trilogy. Some of Hans Zimmer's best work, by far. 3:22 - 4:04 ... this just makes me want to fly up into the sky and melt into a pool of deep emotion at the same time. Pure. Gold.
Oh my goodness, this made me tear up remembering all the good times and Heartbreak I went through, especially at 3:20. Wow, it's just mind-blowing and the symphony reminds me that the trilogy is over...
Ikr it's too good to be real. This trilogy I just heard about it my whole life I found it funny that why do people watch movies with pirate's then this year I finally watched all five (pirated cause we be pirates) and oh the emotions
This whole soundtrack is a masterpiece. But from 2:48 to the end is my number 1 favorite bit of music in all of cinematic history. It's sweeping, grand and epic, but also soulful and bittersweet. It brings to mind the vastness of the sea and the distance between those on land and those far out riding the cresting waves into the horizon.
LISTEN TO ME: ¡Yes! I lied to you ¡No! I don't love you Of course it makes you look fat I've never been to Brussels It is pronounced "Egregious" By the way, no. I've never actually met Pizarro but i love his pies And all of this pales to utter insignificance in light of the fact that my ship is once again gone. Savvy?
Barbossa's skeleton crew had a really beast theme in the first one, and the kraken's in the second was great, but yeah, I think I'd have to agree that this one wins, with Will and Elizabeth's song at the end, and that one that plays at the beginning of the movie when the heroes are sailing through the iceberg.
Aye! This is the only epic music you will hear in your life. This piece of music is more than pure diamond, pure silver and pure gold combined! My favorite piece of all time! It's so amazing it's UNDESCRIBABLE! I'll
Medallion Calls (Variation) 00:00 Medallion Calls 01:02 He's a pirate 01:15 Up is Down 02:18 One Day; Singapour (i know it's not actually Singapour but the sound which plays Up is Down remind's of it or am i the only one hwo thinks like that? xD ) 02:47 And by the way, i think combining One Day and Up is Down sound's absolutely great because the Ending and the Start of thees Songs are the Same :D
Drink up me hearties yo ho is my all-time fav of any themes, 3:01 I wait for this every single time without skipping to enjoy the journey of this music all the way. Magnificent work at 2:19 and 3:30, bow to the Hans for this!
If you close your eyes, you can almost feel the salty wind blowing in your face as you set sail for unknown and uncharted locations. A Pirates Life For Me.
XpLiZiTcOnTeNt7 Sorry but At World's End did for me, I know a lot of people favor the first film but I find it a really standard pirates film. Plus, I dislike Barbossa as a villain, he was amazing in part 3 but he is just not that awesome to be the bad guy.
The first one I think has the best sword fights. Okay Jack vs Davy Jones was good and the Three way battle in the 2nd one wasn't to bad but still nothing tops Jack vs Barbossa in the first movie to me.
1:58 - 2:19 When they legit transitioned from "He's a Pirate" to "I Don't Think Now Is The Best Time" to finally "Up is Down", I had a feeling I'm unable to describe
this piece is just a great finale, it sums up what you've just lived while watching the movie and ends a bit too soon just when it reaches its most beautiful point, it's wonderful
3:50 I don't feel human anymore, I feel so small, I wanna cry but feel the most powerfull man alive at the same time. What this does to me is indescribable... This man, Hans, thank you for just being the best peptalk anyone could ever wish for, you strike me right through the hart with each and one of your songs. Thanks
Every time I listen to one of Hans Zimmer's soundtracks, I thank whoever's up there to have allowed such a great man to exist. For God's sake, he is able to make us feel a thousand feelings just through his music ! Sometimes, when I listen to one of his soundtracks, I start crying for no reason because it's just so beautiful and breathtaking. There's no word to describe his incredible talent.
This song is too good for this movie. It far outshines and transcends any of these movies. If the only reason these movies existed was so that this song could be written, it would be worth it.
Wow. I have never felt a sensation like this while listening to a song. I can't stop shivering. Gotta love Hans Zimmer for being so epic. And making his music epic. :)
12 years later 2021. Were all still here listening✅ Great movies, great songs. You'll remember this as the day you almost learned the words of Captain Jack Sparrow's theme tune(s)
From 2:47 is absolutely amazing, could listen to it all day, one of the best theme songs disney have made in my opinion! Fits Christopher Voglers theory precisely, the song matches The Road back and Climax perfect.. wow! Road back 2:47 to 3:25 Climax 3:26 to 3:51 they even got Central ordeal in at 2:19 practically right centre of the song like the movie, it's crazy.
Une magnifique clôture de ce somptueux album! Vivement le prochain: la Fontaine de Jouvence. Le passage à partir des 3min13 est magnifique, un pure moment d'intense libération qui accentue la beauté du film! ^^

12 years and I am still so pissed this soundtrack wasn’t nominated for an academy award.
Ikr
More than 12 actually
It should have been at least nominated in 2003
like me :) before each football games, i heard it and that was a DRUG :)))
I feel you.
True treasures never get the attention of the public eye, otherwise they wouldn't be treasures, aye?!
"Now, bring me that horizon"
"So tell me, what's become of my ship"
"Drink up me hearties yo ho"
"It's a pirate's life for me"
"I have a rendezvous beyond my beloved horizon"
third one is the best
Savy
It's actually "I have a rendezvous beyond the horizon"
@Logan Legend exactly
"but why is the rum gone"
This track manages to caprure the essence of the entire trilogy in less than 5 minutes of music: catchy, dynamic, joyful, adventurous... nothing less than epic!

Yup, Hans Zimmer is a genius.
Hi
Γιάννης Γαρεφαλάκης And the romantic!
YES One Piece fan!!!
I love how this song just sums up the whole trilogy. Whenever I hear it, Jack's crazy mischief, then sword fights and ship battles, then Will's and Elizabeth's beautiful romance, and just oh my goodness! I love this film series so much!
I feel exactly the same.
that was a pretty good summary on this song
This was such a spectacular "benediction" that I haven't been able to bring myself to see any of the later Pirates movies. This movie soundtrack was perfect, and the end credits music was the perfect ending. Hans Zimmer is truly a genius, and I love the percussion part.
The best scene in movie history will forever be Jack's entrance in the first move. Brings tears to the eyes every time...
PrettyPieHead how ever the Flying Dutchman has the best ship entrance in the series...and how we meet Davy Jones is cool too
2:47 Is one of the most gorgeous soundtrack parts I've ever heard in any movie..
My favorite 3:00 min
orgxiii4ever Listen to the soundtrack "At Wits End" its similar but better
I totally agree with you! :D
orgxiii4ever My favorite part starts at 2:18 and all the way to the end of the song. This is definitely my favorite movie soundtrack. All I can say about it is it's amazing...
orgxiii4ever Agree!!!!!
Jack ended the trilogy the same way he started: on a small boat.
Chasing his big boat
Joe Kaput ship 😉
Will never not be I C O N I C
Captain Jack, if you please..
Series should've ended with 3rd movie
The transition from He's a Pirate to the reprise of Up is Down on 2:18 is absolutely magnificent.
From 3:00 onward is my favourite piece of music in any film, it’s moving epic, and sad, chills!!!! I really want a 6th film with the original 3 one last time but with good writers and the original creators, make it more like the og trilogy one last time!!
U should listen to ( my name is barbosa) then
jhonny depp is not in the 6th (rumors). that can't be as good as the first trilogy
Without Johnny Depp being in it it won’t be the same. Disney really needs to hire him back
one day x up is down was a genius decision
@@gaubourjacques3523 good news... now he is probably if they even make it
2:18 oh my fucken god...holy shit that transition just cured all my illnesses
No Name That transition gave me goosebumps
"gents, I give ya... THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH!"
Sees missing map
"SPARROW!!!"
😂💞🙌
Sparahhhh!!
This should have won an Oscar I can't explain. This soundtrack is so sensible and pure.
One of my favorite film scores. By far my favorite piece in the entire trilogy. Some of Hans Zimmer's best work, by far. 3:22 - 4:04 ... this just makes me want to fly up into the sky and melt into a pool of deep emotion at the same time. Pure. Gold.

"Pure gold" is overrated. This is pure diamond.
Pure platinum

2:35 beautiful orchestration
2:50 brass movement and the intertwining violin melody lines
3:30 violin line moves like a flute in LOTR style
Best Disney films ever, in my opinion.
Jackson arguably????but who will argue upon?????
Potc is the best!!
True that
Best trilogy of films Disney ever has or ever will make
I'm in total agreement.
Hans Zimmer reached immortality with all his scores. His music will last for eternity.
John williams too
cant believe this film is 10 years old soon

Hi, update.
one of the best musical pieces I've heard in my life. seriously.
Drink Up Me Hearties, yoho...
take everything you can and give nothing back
Barbossa: The world used to be a bigger place.
Jack Sparrow: The world's still the same. There's just... less in it.
What hearties means?
*Earrape inserts*
Yer mateys!
This along with One Day and At Wit's End are my favourites on the At World's End album. Simply amazing.
Up Is Down was really good too - though part of that is the sheer genius of the scene. u v u
@@revolutionarygold Up is Down is eargasm 😩
this is probably the best music in the history of disney. still have yet to hear anything as epic as the potc music.
I never get tired of listening this masterpiece
*Mr Gibbs!*, *Any particular reason why my ship is gone?*
*JACK! The ships' gone!*
Benjamin Abolins
*REALLY?*
*Ladies, will you please shut it!*
LISTEN TO ME:
¡Yes! I lied to you
¡No! I don't love you
Of course it makes you look fat
I've never been to Brussels
It is pronounced "Egregious"
By the way, no. I've never actually met Pizarro but i love his pies
And all of this pales to utter insignificance in light of the fact that my ship is once again gone.
Savvy?
Take what you can. Give nothing back!
Someone: What is your favorite piece of classical music
Me:
best OST of the 4 movies.
Barbossa's skeleton crew had a really beast theme in the first one, and the kraken's in the second was great, but yeah, I think I'd have to agree that this one wins, with Will and Elizabeth's song at the end, and that one that plays at the beginning of the movie when the heroes are sailing through the iceberg.
the first ost was SO good too, i agree with that skeleton crew theme, (specially the underwater march theme)
The 5 now
Simon Riley I want 6
@@PixelAine1 4th one had such great music..wtf
2:18 I'm listening to this upside down.
Me too, it's incredible awesome ...
The best part of the whole soundtrack *-*
Up is down....
Uh what is that???
2:39 just wow
I listen to this only because "up is down" and "one day" sync together soo good.
3:24- the most beautiful part of all music
1:02 is AWESOME
GamePlayXtreme 2:18 Awesome-er
My favorite part of it
Aye! This is the only epic music you will hear in your life. This piece of music is more than pure diamond, pure silver and pure gold combined! My favorite piece of all time! It's so amazing it's UNDESCRIBABLE! I'll
Love how Zimmer effortlessly combines all the major film themes into 4 minutes of absolute awesomeness
Medallion Calls (Variation) 00:00
Medallion Calls 01:02
He's a pirate 01:15
Up is Down 02:18
One Day; Singapour (i know it's not actually Singapour but the sound which plays Up is Down remind's of it or am i the only one hwo thinks like that? xD ) 02:47
And by the way, i think combining One Day and Up is Down sound's absolutely great because the Ending and the Start of thees Songs are the Same :D
Form 3:00 it's my name is barbosa
Im so satisfied listening at medallion calls 🤣
its one day and up is down combined, thats why it is so good
It's 2016 and I'm still coming back to listen to stuff like this xD Rock on Hans Zimmer
2022 and still going strong
I love this soundtrack so much because it tells the whole story of the movie in a single piece
3:25
How do you call this ? Epicness ? Legendary ?
I think we can say perfection
+Zoster X It's classified as Epic, right next to Two Steps From Hell and Audiomachine compositions.
+Zoster X This part was played just one time in the movie... I think like the whole soundtrack led to this epic moment.
+Zoster X Hans Zimmer is just brilliant... end of story :D
+Sarude Danstorm Comparing the great Hans Zimmer to Two Steps From Hell is like comparing Aston Martin to Peugeot. Please don't.
Drink up me hearties yo ho is my all-time fav of any themes, 3:01 I wait for this every single time without skipping to enjoy the journey of this music all the way.
Magnificent work at 2:19 and 3:30, bow to the Hans for this!
I could listen this piece for all the day....Love it. Thanks Hans
By far one of the best soundtrack parts of all time. Contains every emotion
I love how al the songs match so well, even though each song is different.
My personal favorite PotC track. It encompasses everything that made the first three so magical and special.
I love this more then the main theme. So beautifull. 2:47
"Why is the rum always gone"

Elizabeth's fault xD
one of Hans Zimmer's best tracks of all time. Best track in the pirates series for sure!
