@@NewGuyMedia-xe7bm damn I bet it did. I can't believe it's already been 9 years since I was listening to this. This band always played so cleanly. I always wondered how they got such perfect takes.
I love the fact that they have one guitar player, one bassist, one drummer and a vocalist. Makes for a more personal experience in each aspect of the songs.
cant believe the people hating on this, this band is amazing and music like this is what drives me to pick up a guitar everyday long live within the ruins and all genres of metal
From a death metal fan I must admit, most death metal fans wont give death core a chance because of the image, but this band proves that death core can be just as brutal, just as technical, and well just as awesome \m/ \m/. They were great at summer slaughter as well.
+drummerdude0515 most death metal fans hate deathcore beacuse of the over use of breackdowns but im a fan of both deathcore and death metal and thanks for giving wtr a chance
Well directed, well performed and nice edition. The predominance of warm colors throughout the video make it a pro video. The song is awesome, like the whole CD and all their fucking songs.
idk about the rest of you, but what i take from the lyrics is how we all buy into the sensationalism put forth by the media subconciously hence "forgive them they know not what they do" also how we feel fine and dandy while buying into, symbolized by the people eating and having a good time at the table, but then they realize how horrible it all was, but then they just let go and reset the stage, reminds me of how things like the sandy hook shooting and boston marathon bombing are perceived by the media/public, we buy into all the violence in the media and our society and they cry about it happening again, then like it never happened we move on and let it go and wait for the next tragedy, that i feel is symbolized by how literally right after everyone in the video gets emotional from eating the guy alive, they just leave him at the table to be forgotten. Within the Ruins, if this is what you were going for with this video, you executed it flawlessly, well done.
I have one of their first albums/ ep when they sounded a lot different that i got back in the mid 2000s from a show when they didn't have a vocalist so the crowd tool turns . They are super good. Got a sample record from em for upcoming bands. That's how I discovered ADTR. Awesome show, great job.
i discovered this band from this dude who walked into a coffee shop wearing a dank ass looking shirt with the band name on it so i looked them up and they're actually pretty fucking good, i normally like metalcore more than deathcore but this is pretty fuckin lit
This is beautiful, classic, WTR with a few new twists, rock solid musicality. As long as they've been around I'm glad they're experimenting with change in their new stuff.
I saw these guys in Bloomington, Illinois back in March of this year. Me and my friends were waiting outside for our ride to get us when Tim walked up to us and asked if anyone had a cigarette. My friend bummed him one it was so cool. The band is awesome and the members are even cooler.
Thanks for the help Lancelot and looksfragile, I'm just trying to expand my musical horizons and my big brother listens to this kinda music so i thought I'd check some out. I like breakdowns a lot now!
actually the 2 times I've seen Chelsea with Jason he was actually super awesome live. the second time being at a Concert Hall rather than an outside stage, he actually sounded better and spot on. I'm not arguing with you though, I'll make that very clear, most artist in this type of genre dont sound the same live, and few sound FAR from the record, but I applaud Jason in his style and accuracy. I find it astonishing really.
If DeathCore was a museum the tour guide would be like: "and on your left in our DownTempo exhibit you can see a prime example of why DeathCore bands are required to release lyrics video's with every song they produce."
I saw WITHIN THE RUINS last week with my friend, it was amazing show and I don't even know these guys. But now we know who they are...WITHIN THE RUINS are kicking some ass like KsE ,All That Remain,Shadows Fall .
I love how the drummer always looks like he has no idea what he's doing, but he can slay that kit
Ahahaha since they started he has that like clueless/struggling look on hi face but he's super solid and does go ham
1:03 - This move is probably the most metal thing i've ever seen! ;D
🤨🤨
It's good to start somewhere.
I just can't get enough of that guitar tone. Perfection. This band is brutal too.
The sweep is just sexy as fuck. I am a sucker for sweeps and it still stands out.
I saw them live, indoors, small venue. That tone felt like it was ripping my chest apart, it was awesome!
