And business pages usually laready have their logo set so there is no point in contacting them right? (regarding finding clients on instagram) Thank you so much, my goal is to leave my corporate job (in a totally different field) and become a successful freelancer in luxury, I already know basic/good skills in photoshop,illustrator,indesign,premiere since my bachelor was in Design but I haven't practiced seriously in years. However I think that's my best choice that would help me leave the 9-5 rat race.
1) If you are specialized in logo designs, you can find accounts that have poor designs and without straight up telling them that, find out how their marketing is going. If they say that it is not going well or they want more sales, you could ask if they designed their logo with their ideal customer in mind and usually they won't if they got it done cheaply. Then you can offer your solution of doing good research to really ensure it will attract who they want to. 2) For the luxury niche, it is really a matter of finding those big influencers that have your ideal clients as followers. Maybe a coach for luxury businesses or a specific inspirational account that they would follow. That is why talking to your ideal clients before digging into outreach will help you know where to look. Ooooh that is such an exciting goal, Luca!! Yes, leaving the rat race is an excellent idea and graphic design can for sure help you accomplish this. Best of luck to you!

However, it's sometimes hard to get people because they mostly all have their branding, or they're too new and can't afford one. I make branding and logos for literally any kind of small businesses niche but I recently got many clients from the crafting niche Do you have suggestions of other niches that are good to approach as well?
Awesome on choosing a niche and thinking with this. I understand the two different types of people and maybe if you find those just starting or looking to rebrand. In terms of niches to choose you can think of it as a group of people who have a common problem. It could be based on where they sell such as Etsy sellers or type of industry like food and beverage or type of person such as fitness coaches.

Yes, you could also probably see hashtags even using the word “Etsy”. You could find a store that would be the type of person you’d want to design for on Etsy and then find their IG account. See what hashtags they use. And then you can see if you search some of those hashtags do the type of accounts come up that are who you’d like to design for. That’s just one idea. Glad to help ❤️
