I rewatched Princess Mononoke recently and it was just marvellous. The first I ever saw was My Neighbour Totoro. But I think my favourite might be either Spirited Away or Pom Poko.

I think the area where you said it's the train station of spirited way was actually the bus stop of totoro, while they were waiting in the rain (leaf umbrella)
The rug you were excited over that you said you never seen before is called the round vine rug! It's a recipe you can get from Kapp'ns tours or HHP. The recipe calls for 4 vine 🩷 Thank you for touring this island it was adorable!
