  • In this video we take out the brand new Magic Mobility 360 MWD powerchair for a full test review. This time around I ask my wonderful friend and client to join me to put the chair through it's paces. My client already has both an F5VS and Extreme X8 so it was interesting to hear her comments on the 360. I did try and highlight in the video, the Magic 360 is NOT a comparable product to any Permobil, Dietz, Ottobock or Sunrise Medical chair. It sits very much by itself, bridging the gap between your everyday chair and an all-terrain alternative.
I really hope you enjoy the video, if you would like further information on the chair or any others in previous videos, please do get in touch. You can do so either through the comment section or on the website via the link below -

I want one! Truly amazing! I’m waiting to be assessed for a new power chair and I like the sunrise medical 500 which I had out on trial but now after watching this video I am keen to try this one as well ❤

Thank you for getting in touch! The Q500M is a great chair for the right client, the 360 has a completely different set of priorities so make sure you choose wisely! Good luck

@@clinicalmobilitysolutions2131 Kudos for a QM500, but after almost six years in a QM710 - one year out of six, my chair awaited too many repairs - in the AZ Valley. I did not abuse mu chair in any way but have traveled 2,000 miles to date. Our PWC's are different animals in design, small casters vs your larger casters, essentially sum up the differences in the context of 'off-road'. The articulating arms (front), I was warned before delivery to avoid water ever contacting the extra hinge-point (SpiderTrac). I avoided puddles after the sprinklers (everywhere here) did their thing - consequence being a front arm freezing, meaning you're stuck. Though I'm so close to a new F5 Permobil that will truck up the same trail as depicted in this video, I'm very inclined to explore a test drive in the beefier 'Hybrid' version Magic/ Sunrise offers. Third pair of motors in this 'babied' qm710, error code 8104 has never been fixed, and poor swing-away joystick replacements leave me skeptical.

I would have liked to see more slope capabilities for true off road ability

Hello Stuart, thank you for your comment. Due to the environment it was difficult to demonstrate all scenarios, plus we also had to take the clients preferences into consideration. However, we did try to make it as inclusive as possible. Maybe in the future we'll put a supplementary video up to include steep gradient performance. Thanks again for getting in touch

Agree. The comment by the vendor is that the test ground was not hilly. It could have been. As a prospective buyer, I need to know this. mY property is hilly. Nevertheless, a very good compromise for those who can only have one chair.

Watched from the Australian Capital Territory. So much is missing on this video. More research is needed. Weight, slopes, moving into cars, buses and aircraft?

Let me Point a few things out do not buy this chair if you want to go off-roading they make out this chair is built for off roading but it's definitely not this is a chair that is made for moving around town and going through a little bit of grass some dirt and maybe over a few tree branches I see so many people buying this chair as well as the V6 and being really disappointed

Thank you for getting in touch, I think the term 'off-roading' is very subjective. There are naturally limitations to anything, which is why it's important to identify them and demonstrate them as much as possible. The 360 along with the V6 are very good chairs in their own right and for some, allow them to access areas that they wouldn't normally be able to. All I would say is that anyone who is disappointed with chair has potentially been incorrectly sold the chair and the expectations haven't been managed correctly. Thank you again for your comment

Not waterproof or even rain proof like so many chairs. Off-road is possible if dry, otherwise casters just sink or dig in. More knobbly tyres are available, but it is the casters that are the issue. Works on gravel and well worn paths. Slightly better performing than q500 and m5 on leaves though I still have pavements in Somerset that throws me into the side with the leaves on. Same if you drop a wheel on mud. Factory for Europe has moved to Germany and there are quality teething issues as well as long lead times.
Worth mentioning that you can have the height up a bit, tilt and legs out at 6 MPH. There are inhibitors that will slow down for lots of height and weight over the back.
Really good for nearly laying flat or feet slightly elevated, but lots of issue with clashes between chair and canes laterals on the control box, so watch out for that.
Base price £12,5k. Full power options will approach £20k.
