Foaming a car with a Karcher Foamlance

- Foaming a vehicel with an Autobrite Foamlance for Karcher with Supa Snow Foam concentration of 1:4.
Purpose: to remove as much dirt as possible before touching the car with anything else like a microfiber wash mitt. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Snow foaming removes very little dirt, it is an important step in the process of cleaning a car efficiently causing minimal scratching.
Snow foaming draws the dirt up off the paint in preperation for removal via a clean high quality microfibre mitt using the two bucket method. This vid shows the use of a pretty efficient system,looks to be good quality products in use here.

great video, can you use any car shampoo in foam bottle attachment or does it have to be a certain shampoo?

Doesn't matter. In fact I prefer the K series to this expensive one. It costs alot of power and fuses go out easily. For foaming purposes a 100+ bar pressure washer is more than enough. Especially for car cleaning.

It's an addtion to the washing proces not a replacement.
Depends on the foam. Some foams or stronger than other's. It's an addition to the washing proces not a replacement. The idea is to remove to large dirt particles (sand) safely rather than sandblast it with a pressure washer. Also, it's fun to do :)
The pressure washer used is a Karcher HD series, I believe the 5 series.
There are Lavor connectors available sometimes. Check Autobritedirect on google.
How does this compare with The K series, which I just bought but yet to start using..still waiting for the car wax
Any shampoo could be used but most won't foam so much. You can better use a good quality foaming shampoo.
But you can use a normale shampoo for regular washing as well. Foam the car with the shampoo and start washing with a good washmitt than rinse. Regularly rinse out the washmitt though.
I have black and decker pressure washer with 80bar, it would work?

why dont demo's show really dirty cars being cleaned with snowfoam ?
It's a Karcher HD series, but a basic model will do just fine.

hey im wondering if i could fill the detergent tank on the Karcher K 5.540 X-Series with the Supa Snow Foam or will i have to buy the Autobrite Foamlance and hook it up to the Karcher K 5.540 X Series?

Just filling the tank will not be as near as good foam as with an Autobrite lance but you can always try :)

I think you need a whole lot more than just a foam... :)
Speeding up so it won't take so long to watch. The car looks clean but there was alot of sand at the bottom and for the video I foamed the entire car. Maybe a bit more than you need but it's a larger car (station wagon) but half a bottle is normal. The soap is mixed 1:4 but 1:10 is also possible. For show I did 1:4 on this car.

Haha, inderdaad. Je vergeet snel iets als je aan het filmen bent.
De kans dat ik je suggestie ga proberen is helaas klein. Mocht ik een keer de kans krijgen dan doe ik dat zeker. Laatst de nieuwe Auto Finesse Avalanche geprobeerd en die werkt ook erg goed alleen niet erg goedkoop.

Hij lijkt schoon op het filmpje maar dat was die zeker niet. Vooral de onderste delen van de zijkanten zaten onder het zand. Het foam sluit het zand in en zo kan je het veilig afspuiten. Alleen de zijkanten foamen voor het filmpje is ook weer zo wat dus de hele auto is gedaan.
I think cleaning a dirty car would be a better demo! (just a thought)

With the right foam (degreasing) it will surely help!
No idea what you mean... if you rinse down you start at the top. Putting the foam on doesn't make any difference where you start practically.

There is quite some high winds outside so if I used it outside my camera could fell over and the foam would be everywhere except on the car :)

How does it clean without physically wiping down the car with a cloth? I've been to those "touchless/brushless" car washes and they were a complete joke and money robber! I could see all of the dirt and dust reappearing once the sun dried it and see all kinds of missed spots! This seems equal to dipping your dirty dishes in sudsy water then rinsing them with the sink sprayer. How can they possibly get cleaned?

Jup it looked clean but from the sides at the bottom it wasn't. Lots of sand, for the video I did the entire car. Only the bottom half would get me more comments why the top isn't done than now that the car doesn't looks dirty :)

I didn't had a very dirty car available when I was shooting all the vids.
It's to show how it looks on a car. Also the pint is to remove the dirst safely.
Just blasting it with a pressure washer to remove sand can cause swirls.
Any dirt extra removed is just a bonus.
That doesn't make any difference to my opinion.
