I think his legs are staying more fresh than they ever have since he isn't the only offence anymore when his partner superstar needs to sit for rest. There's freaking 4 of them on this team lol. 2, 3, or all 4 of them are always on the floor. I have been watching him since his OKC days and on every team since and he has never tried so hard on defense. I really think it's the extra juice in his legs

And he doesn't have to be a #2 scorer on the Clippers, more like 4th or 5th because getting Zubac going is more impactful on both ends.

People just blamed harden for the Sixers playoff exit because he’s a hated player, they forget harden scored most the 76ers points in the playoffs and bailed them out of two losses by going nuclear on the clippers. When Philly lost game 6 to Boston when they had a huge lead, harden isn’t the reason they blew that lead. It was Tobias no defense Harris who played 45 minutes that game (doc rivers lol) and posted a pathetic 3 points and 2 rebounds in that 45 minutes of play while allowing Tatum to crazy on the other side. Can you really disentangle the two apart (with a small sample)? 2) Philly is thriving without Harden. I wish Kawhi Leonard would start doing the MJ fake pass palm ball move because I just embarrasses the hell out of those that fall for it and that makes them mad enough to stand flatfooted so it doesn't happen again and thats when he can go right around them for a easy score.

    • @123shotas

Check his highlight reel from last year.
About midway through the season he made a no-look pass to a 3 off of a palmed catch - all one fluid play while just standing motionless on the perimeter, using ONLY one hand (!) - that lives somewhere between Magic and MJ. Haven't seen anything else come close to that, these days.

Your take on Russ is so wildly BS I don’t think I could ever take you seriously. ‘Westbrooke has one of the biggest egos in sports. he would have gone crazy, make a scene demand a trade or get cut.’ Russ is the opposite of this. He stayed loyal in OKC without complaining for years even though they f-d up the roster repeatedly. He’s never once made drama with his team. Every one of his teammates loves him. He came off the bench in LA and never made a drama.
You couldn’t be more wrong and it’s disturbing that you have an NBA channel if you can speak with such conviction and be so wrong. It’s scary. You might need professional help.

I been a Clipper fan for 17 years, look I don’t think anyone should be taken over Denver rn but the only way we truly prove it to people is in the playoffs. We don’t have to win the finals but we have to at least make it to the finals if we are healthy. Plus away from Harden, we lost plumee so people were scoring on us in the paint with ease and then we added Daniel. Second, Ty got his rotations consistent and a huge impact his him finally using Amir Cof. Dude is a straight baller and good at defense. I am happy with how we are playing of course but post season will say it all

It would be amazing and an inspiration to many if the kawhi, george, harden, and russ overcomes the "clipper's curse" and win it all this year. After all, each one of them has nothing else to prove, like what westbrook did to decide to come off the bench and be a team player and just do what they have been doing for the last ten games.

I haven´t heard any1 say it yet, but it is obvious, that the NBA has introduced euro cutting off the ball. Especially against those teams, that will help one pass away ("next")
i hate nexting, and am a firm believer in staying with shooters, and helping from the weakside, but it IS a pnr scheme, that is widely used.
buttom line: russ one pass away with the green light to cut, JUST might work

You got your facts wrong about Russell Westbrook. He wasn't benched or mad about it. He himself asked to be benched since they couldn't win a single game. It was his idea. He volunteered to come off the bench since he realized they needed to make some changes. Finally after a year and a half of being stubborn with the Lakers it seems like he finally is acting mature and learned to not be selfish and help his team by sacrifice. And Russes idea worked big time. They are winning more than almost all other teams. They figured it out by sacrifising themselfs for the good of the team. And yeah, Kawhi is now finally healthy and back to his old self like from the S.A. and Tor days.
Interesting and similarly enough Kyrie Irving has changed this year too. Unlike last year. Acting like a grown up getting along with teamates and not being selfish and all about himslef. and so far without any of his old shenanigans. He learned a lesson last year when almost no team wanted his problems to ruin their teams like he did it to Boston and Brooklyn. He kinda ruined last season for Dallas too. They were good until he joined the team and missed the playoffs. But hopefully that's all over now for him. Looks that way. He's earned some credibility this season with the Mavs winning and him saying that he wishes Dallas drafted him.
I am a Laker fan buy hey I have to give credit where credit is due. To both Westbrook and to Kyrie. Hopefully they keep it up and not mess up their good situations.
And speaking of the Clippers curse. First of all this is the best they've played in what feels like forever. They've never been this healthy all at the same time. All peaking and all playing at their best we've ever seen them play. Even Harden is close to Harden of the old days with better defense.
Now, I don't believe in curses but if any of them main guys gets injured come playoff time it would be so unbelievable. Crazy unbelievable. Insainly unbelievable. I'd be speechless and shocked. Especially since this seems to be the year and their chance to break that curse. They are out of time since nobody knows what's gonna happen next season for them.

As a Warrior fan who for the longest has not had Love for Harden, Westbrook or the Clippers due to them being direct rivals at given points in our runs, I have to admit, i will be a great story if these clippers could keep it together and win a championship this Year.
PG, Harden, Westbrook who are at the tail end of their primes missing just a championship to their resume's , Clippers who have been disrespected for so long as the "Basement LA team" being able to have their first championship as well, Kawhi resurging and proving a lot he is still a bad man...
I kind of root for them.

      Additional poetry potential:
LeLakers were celebrating beating a slew of sub-.500 teams to get a tournament Cup as though they won a title (LeBron even impulse-tweet "one closer to MJ!" like the numbskull he is). If the Clippers can get the Larry O'Brien as the 'basement squad' stuck with 3rd-best lockers in Crypto, WHILE doing it on their way out going to a new arena of their own - would be a deliciously gigantic FU to that entire franchise and fan base of doubters and LeSycophants, many that insisted "Kawhi should come play with LeBron" back in 2019.

There is no comparison between khwai and jordon. Jordon would play the game if you amputate his one leg. Khwai fakes injuries all time and even when he is healthy, he wants to play just 50 games out of 82. So he is not even in the same league mentally. If i was khwai i wouldve wanted to score 50000 points 5000 assists 10000 rebounds 2000 blocks and 2000 steal. Luka is already ahead of him he has 10000 points already
