Have been watching Asian dramas for years now but this is the only series that made me rewatch it multiple times...Everything is so perfect that I don't have enough words to convey my feeling after watching this. It's not just the acting or story or the chemistry. There's also a lesson that you can't judge anyone right or wrong with their actions. You have to look beyond them, trust their conscience and stand by them even if the whole world is against you. Whatever the relationship is 😊 (Still salty about the censorship though 😂😂)
Really this drama should bd watch in whole over the world and it teaches lots of moral value. I am addicted and obsessed with this drama but I don't want to leave my addiction as I am obsessed with good things and indeed it helps me alot to do hardwork, be happy and many more.

I wish i could just forget the memories of this and rewatch over it again. It doesn't happen to me all the time. I have quite a big standard when it comrs to drama and i thought untamed is just another long drama. But i was wrong. This drama was worth all the high budget kdrama. This is love. I'd heard about the Untamed a lot, but I didn't wanna watch it because of the number of eps (now that I've finished, 50 eps is too less, I wish it'd go on forever) I didn't understand the hype and why ppl can't move on from this drama. However, I think I finally get it now. Everything about this drama is so perfect and magical, starting from the cast, the instrumental, the osts, every single character and their backstories, and the way every scene and dialogues have a deeper meaning. This drama has set the bar for romance so high, despite the heavy censorship. There wasn't any kiss, or even hugs, but the eyes and their actions said it all. All of them did such a good job portraying the characters, and I think there couldn't be a better cast than this. This drama gave me so much, I cried through almost every episodes I think, but I laughed too, I laughed and laughed, and fell in love. I cannot appreciate Untamed enough. I finished it yesterday, and I had to shut everything down and reflect for a while. I had gotten used to looking forward to the next episodes, only to realise there was no more left. I wish I could watch for the first time all over again. Untamed is a masterpiece ❤️

When I started to watch this drama I was wondering why everyone was commenting like they watched this count less time but after watching this drama I got to know why everyone admire this drama so much first I thought 50 episodes is too much but after finishing this was like give me more 🙁 every character was portrayed beautifully by everyone they did a great job So pure friendship between Wei Ying and Lan Zhan can feel their love and care for each other no need to show any kissing scenes their words and gaze is enough for everyone to know how much they love each other Except wei Ying and Lan Zhan I loved and appreciated the character that is Wen Ning I mean nobody can compare with his innocence and he is the cutest guy (´∩｡• ᵕ •｡∩`)

Honestly no matter how many times I watch it every time I get to interpret every emotion felt by different characters When I first watched it it was nothing more than just a drama Second time my brain shifted to Wei Ying feelings and ghost general and his sister Third time it was lan zhan and lan xichen Fourth time my sole focus was Jiang Cheng and Jin ling lan yuan etc Fifth time it shifted to Meng Yao and xingchen and that crazy Pinki fingerless person Every time I realised new things And now there is no single person whom I can fully hate except for the early wen leaders and those hypocritic good people

It is a fantastic series... unlike many series that drags on in some sections, every episode of this series is worth watching. It is also quite different from many Asian dramas in that romance is not central to this drama series. There are some elements of Chinese cinematography (like the contrast in colours between Wei Ying and Lan Zhan) in this series which I like and makes it different and not so much like a Hong Kong style drama series even though the directors are from Hong Kong. (I do generally like Chinese drama series with Hong Kong directors but also love that this series has taken on some of the distinctive character from Chinese productions.)

The only thing I don't like about the start is even though wwx was falling from the cliff lwj wouldn't have just watched him falling in front of his eyes with panic, sadness and helplessness. In the novel he wasn't even present in this battle. It would have been good if the series storyline followed novel storyline but with different reasons than in the novel. I don't have any further complain though cause it's my fav series😍
XZ embodied Wei Ying. Watch documentary on the making of the Untamed (avoid couple shipping BTS) and you can see how well he understood his character. His facial micro expression and body language are flowing and genuine. Unlike others where the camera is zoomed in one expression and prolonged, XS is very dynamic. Chemistry among the costars are really good asides from Lan Zhan, especially with his sister and, brother and Wen Ning. The siblings bonding is so touching. Of course the is always room for improvement. However his acting is very sincere and just captures the essence of WY.

Fifth time it shifted to Meng Yao and xingchen and that crazy Pinki fingerless person

It is a fantastic series... unlike many series that drags on in some sections, every episode of this series is worth watching. It is also quite different from many Asian dramas in that romance is not central to this drama series. There are some elements of Chinese cinematography (like the contrast in colours between Wei Ying and Lan Zhan) in this series which I like and makes it different and not so much like a Hong Kong style drama series even though the directors are from Hong Kong. (I do generally like Chinese drama series with Hong Kong directors but also love that this series has taken on some of the distinctive character from Chinese productions.)

The only thing I don't like about the start is even though wwx was falling from the cliff lwj wouldn't have just watched him falling in front of his eyes with panic, sadness and helplessness. In the novel he wasn't even present in this battle. It would have been good if the series storyline followed novel storyline but with different reasons than in the novel. I don't have any further complain though cause it's my fav series😍

XZ embodied Wei Ying. Watch documentary on the making of the Untamed (avoid couple shipping BTS) and you can see how well he understood his character. His facial micro expression and body language are flowing and genuine. Unlike others where the camera is zoomed in one expression and prolonged, XS is very dynamic.
Chemistry among the costars are really good asides from Lan Zhan, especially with his sister and, brother and Wen Ning. The siblings bonding is so touching.
Of course the is always room for improvement. However his acting is very sincere and just captures the essence of WY.
A documentary? I'd like to see it. Can you share a link or a way I can find it?

After reading out Ma do zu shi and then watching it made me observe a lot which I failed to observe even after watching many times back from 2019. Like the way he is sitting in a circle of spells drawn and room covered with blood. Untamed is worth the time even after watching countless times
