Sometimes it open on the actual screen so when it actually launches like that you should install the new driver (I wrote this while fixing my pc from my pc cause it had opened )

ctrl + alt + delete open task manager, click on file then run new task type in "services.msc" click on ok then find "App Readiness" then right click and click on stop after that, double left click on it then set the startup type to "disabled" exit out of task manager, ctrl + alt + delete again then restart and that should fix it permanently. :)
Absolute legend....saved me a few days of stress and a phone call to support...had the black screen.......BUT once I hit windows button and P it 'woke up' and I was able to set it up easily

I had the same problem First of all what you can do is install the latest windows updates Go to search🔎 icon Type' msconfig' then click system configuration and make sure to go to advanced options check all cores uncheck maximum memory... If this also dont work you can do what I tell now.....Also you can add paging file I personally say install updates that fixed my problem....☺
One of the last recommendations worked for me. If you can’t open anything or get anywhere with control, alt, delete or see anything, at all, while clicking keys, like nothing shows up and it’s just a black screen with a cursor and nothing else shows up, just unplug all usb/hdmi devices out of your PC or laptop and that’s what worked for me, and after it shows your login screen and you can just plug everything back in. Great video and the only one that saved me🤘🏻😁

turn on your laptop when you see the spinning circle turn it off. repeat that until you see repairing let it run and you get to the blue screen , chose start up option and chose safe mode. then you can uninstall the driver , what a joke this guy is

For the people who only get a black screen you you open an app or each time you move your mouse all you need to do is disable your driver and reanable it back It worked for me

Win+ctrl+shift+b - didn't work. Roll back driver - didn't work as it doesn't allow you to press roll back. Uninstalling driver - Yes. You have to uninstall driver in SAFE MODE. Otherwise this method won't work.
aight so right now, this pc has the black screen problem. before watching this video I pressed ctrl+alt+delete then ran task manager, and it ran. sooo I tinkered a bit then found out that windows explorer was running in the background. right clicked it and open file location, and it opened it. i just had to locate chrome and to my surprise, it worked. here am I just fixing this. hope you are having a good day (edit) holy sh*t it works aight I'm subscribing.
Last solution worked! For some reason my wireless keyboard cause the screen to go black after Windows update. I simply unplugged the USB antenna and the screen popped right back on

Hola shift and restart the computer, this will open the troubleshoot menu. You can backup your computer, reset it, all that stuff. I am currently restarting my computer and will tell you if it works.

Mine is weird. I use ctl+alt+dlt to rest the click f12 for boot options and have to clilck my internal hdd to boot it for some reason.

When ever I try to open up task manger using key combos it just stays black, maybe i have two screen and I have to switch to the main screen?

For the people who only get a black screen you you open an app or each time you move your mouse all you need to do is disable your driver and reanable it back

When i wait for a few minutes my screen starts appearing but it takes pretty long..
Well we think your system is lagging. Consider following to speedup the system:
1. Install latest windows 10 updates
2. Update all your device drivers
3. Upgrade RAM
4. De-fragment Disks
5. Run clean up utility

Yes! I kept my black screen on and was watching the video and my desktop just appeared out of nowhere. It takes like 3 to 5 mins tho. Seriously, windows 10 sucks. I never believed when people said "windows 10 is not an operating system, it's a virus." But it's sadly true.

Win+ctrl+shift+b - didn't work.
Roll back driver - didn't work as it doesn't allow you to press roll back.
Uninstalling driver - Yes. You have to uninstall driver in SAFE MODE. Otherwise this method won't work.
A lot of you said it works but mine didn't. I tried the combination keys many times but it doesn't work at all.
update: i tried it again after resting my laptop. it works 👍

i fixed mine by pressing ctrl and restart after ctrl alt and del then just reseted my entire pc and it was gone

aight so right now, this pc has the black screen problem.
before watching this video I pressed ctrl+alt+delete then ran task manager, and it ran.
sooo I tinkered a bit then found out that windows explorer was running in the background.
right clicked it and open file location, and it opened it.
i just had to locate chrome and to my surprise, it worked.
here am I just fixing this.

My laptop does the black screen with cursor, so I usually leave it, and it works after 5 hrs lol. But today, it decided to not work at all lol
For me it took like 2 minutes, and now it takes forever

Last solution worked! For some reason my wireless keyboard cause the screen to go black after Windows update. I simply unplugged the USB antenna and the screen popped right back on
thanks for providing the suggestions where most of them envolves a functional display. it's kind of the same as asking a blind person the color of a given object.

you can also use (if u use laptop) powermode (remove the battery then open it with just the charger)

For me, I finally found out that I needed to disabled SVM in my bios! After doing this everything is working fine. Writing this here just incase i come across this problem again in the future :) thanks me

Hola shift and restart the computer, this will open the troubleshoot menu. You can backup your computer, reset it, all that stuff. I am currently restarting my computer and will tell you if it works.
@@gd_ctc1799 I've restored my PC cuz I had a saved restore point but when I switch off and turn on my PC the same thing happens, Idk why, so I'm not switching my PC off until I'm not sure that it's fixed!

Sadly, the only trouble we cannot fix that is if we don't have any external monitor to fix this, like how we gonna SEE THROUGH THE BLACK SCREEN to fix it??? so we had no choice but to send this to the repairs.....😔
