Absolutely, let's add some suspense to it: "Deep within the lush landscapes of St. Thomas, there's a plantation, a hidden relic veiled from common view. Shrouded in mystery, its story whispers through time, waiting to be unraveled. Today, we embark on a journey to uncover the secrets of the Albion Sugar Plantation, a place obscured from our sight but not from history's grasp. Get ready, as we step into the shadows of the unknown."
Albion was a sugar plantation in Saint David Parish, Jamaica. Created during or before the 18th century, it had at least 451 slaves when slavery was abolished in the British Empire in 1833. By the end of the 19th-century it was the most productive plantation in Jamaica due to the advanced refining technology it used. By the early 20th century, however, its cane sugar could not compete with cheaper European beet sugar, and it produced its last sugar crop in 1928. It subsequently became a banana farm for the United Fruit Company.
Thank you for watching
Blessing Alex. It's great to see you back on the journey of educating us all. I missed these history vlogs. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for tour support and thanks for watching, please share
Great video ! Over to National Heritage Trust .
I wish we had a department of the government that restores and upkeep these properties. If I had the capital I would restore them to their former glory and let Jamaicans see the past even more

It's good to see you back doing the thing you love, I had to take a second look then the voice confirmed it's you. Alex you are spot on in saying the Government should utilized the land and make it farmable to provide jobs for the unemployed......Importing certain fruits and vegs that can be grown in Jamaica seems ludicrous.
Elite, i was shocked to see you without your locks.
Yea I got it cut over then holidays, thanks for watching
So was I😀❤

@@EliteJamaica You are welcome. What you have topped into is the history and culture aspect of the tourism industry as million of people around the world travel and read about heritage tourism. Example such as I travel to Peru to see the ruins at Machu Picchu and I am planning to go to Mexico city to the Aztec ruins and to Egypt and Sudans to the ancient ruins.
Always enjoy watching your videos, great contents. You're the best educating us on the history of Jamaica. Thanks for sharing.

Can you visit the a abandoned village of spalding near clarkson ville st Ann
Please visit Nairne castle in James Hill Clarendon for me. Thanks.
You need heavy duty boots for bushes like that.
Are you considering doing guided tours?
It's been a while.
Wow.
You ok?
30:20 because a foreign investor hasn't proposed the idea. While if a Jamaican / returning resident would get the proverbial door slammed in their face. Sorry Alex, that's rude..mi a blame the election results or lack thereof🙄 for my flippant comment😁
Nice video..look at all those maaka in your shoe. Wow
I haven’t seen you in a long while. You cut your locks!😅
It's really been a while, yea I made some changes also, hope all is well with you, thanks for watching
Maybe they dont know Alex. That's something you could present to the right authorities.
These land is given back to the people of the area st Thomas these leaders will rule no move our ancestors fight for our right has the original owners. From it was call st David's then st Thomas
This was a LARGE functioning or dare I say disfuctioning busy place with all that activity. It sounds like it was a mini town by itself.
Yes it was rather large
That’s a lot older than our history is saying
Mi live a albino an not even know this place is there
Jamaica Fruit Company (Alex)
Thanks for that correction

Thank you so much for your support
U want a drone...
You might need to buy a spray paint to spray off the areas you covered especially when you need to revisit the core more than once. Save you revisiting grounds and wasting your time.
That's true, I took some notes of stuff am gonna need to make these vlogs more productive. Thanks for your suggestion
You need a machette when doing these vids bro.
Yea, never knew it was this bad bro, thanks for the feedback
Bro you don't know how to carry and use a machete
