I feel you're more of an "old world" cruiser than most presenters. And I'm relieved and happy to see this. The thing is, you seem to focus on viewing the sea and spending time in lounges. I've seen very few reviews that comment on the goodness of the Ensemble Lounge, a place that I think is crucial on the Solstice ships and give them their personality. The Martini Bar also is a wonderful spot and note how different they are in ambiance. The promenade deck isn't the best but at least you've found a spot that's enjoyable as well as the deck in front of the gym.
I will say I wish the refurbishments were more renovations or restorations than refurbishments/remodels as I do not love the neutrals with a color look of the Edge ships. And that's how most of the refurbishments are done with beige seats and blues rather than the richer colors of the original ship. I'm also not a fan of the overused high-back chairs that Celebrity inherited from Royal Caribbean. But overall, this Celebrity class of ship is the one for "old world" cruisers, then then Millennium, and not the Edge class.

Thanks for the video. I really like the Silhouette especially after the refurbishment. I went to the fjords in 2019 and in 2021, I had a very enjoyable week-long cruise around Britain. Luckily, Scotland had opened up to cruise ships by then. I agree with you about the promenade deck. I didn't know about the forward deck beyond the gym. I must remember for next time.
I enjoyed the food in the Grand Curvée. The staff worked so hard to make it a lovely experience every time and deserve a shout out. We didn't to Morano, but we did have dinner in the Tuscan Grille and lunch in the Sushi on %. Both were excellent.
We were sailing at half capacity and many of the bars, although opened, did lack the usual atmosphere, with the exception of the Sky Lounge. I look forward to sailing on her again.

Hi guys loved the video..I can’t find out what time the entertainment starts to make dinner reservations. I was told between 7-9. Daaahhh i knew that! We’re in the Retreat section 3 rd Celebrity cruise and never saw the shows because we ate late and missed ..Weird Celerity can’t pinpoint.. also did you meet some of our peeps? 🌈.. Thanks

I didnt although there were group meetings onboard. This was one of the first cruises post pandemic so we wanted to keep to ourselves a little bit!

I've never noticed that before actually 😂 I assume some of the fabric came loose but I'm sure it's fixed now!
We went on Celebrity Equinox a few years ago and we had a blast.

Glad to hear! Yes this was after her refit which I believe happened in early 2020 (I went on her in July 2021)
Matthew, does this ship have a deck off of the buffet at the back of the ship with acoustic music at times? 10:42
There is an area of open deck space near the buffet! Can't recall if there's music there though!
going on august 5th on a med cruise, staying in cabin 1200 on sky deck 10 aft. trying to find out what the view is like from this cabin. hope its not restricted, any idea cheers

I literally realise why I’ve never Cruised! I’m surprising my wife in October. Athens to Athens. We’re on the Silloiutte. Every Vlog I’ve watched are soooo boring!

Just back from a short cruise on this boat, first time with Celebrity - and LAST! Poor food, shockingly bad service and disappointing entertainment - thank heavens it was only 4 days!
