Three weeks in to my weekly gentle manicures and NOT cutting my cuticles and my nails finally look like your clients! Strong, healthy regrowth and healed skin around my fingers. Which I never thought I thought I would achieve because I didn’t think I could go without trimming that skin after how much it began to overgrow due to my repetitive abusive behaviors. But when you stop the abuse and start really giving it the proper care, your skin transforms back to its healthy state and much faster than I thought possible. No more swelling and angry looking redness. (I’ll always have some redness, it just my genetics). So THANK YOU! I’m so relieved - after 6 months of dealing with and growing out gel allergy damage that caused me to pick up the habit of destroying the skin around my fingers - obsessively habitual. It was like I went right back to nail baiting, a habit I dropped 30+ years ago 😖 Never mind just my nails, my hands entirely haven’t looked this good in YEARS! Constantly oiling/moisturizing my nails has also led me to constantly moisturizing my whole hand and there is ZERO dryness anymore. Now I just want my nails to grow faster 🤣 They’re about as long as this clients now uniformly on my left hand, just waiting for my right hand to catch up now 😂
@@NativeNYerChicHK Wow I read your long response I am the same way I destroy my Cuticles and the skin around my nails always digging and picking and cutting with nippers such a bad habit swelling around my nails which are sore so I buy Neosporine to put it I will give your routine a try thanks for sharing 👍
Please don’t use Neosporine! Just basic Vaseline or even Aquaphor. Much better. Also. Because I really care that people understand, you can’t have a damaged cuticle. Cuticle is basically bunch off compacted skin cells that “fell off” the underside of the nail fold and ride on the nail between the nail fold and nail plate. You can definitely harm the skin fold but not the cuticle. ❤️
This young lady is probably the one of your clients with the most beautiful nails ! This polish looks quite a lot like the old Dior Nail Glow, I love it !
I received my Manucurist selection yesterday! I absolutely love it - bought after watching your video. I used the Active Smooth 2 coats then then 1 coat of the Active Glow Raspberry. It's gorgeous - so natural. After giving myself a manicure using Blue Cross, obviously! Thank you Anna, for so generously sharing your knowledge. It's helped me so much.
Anna you could not imagine how the timing was perfect 😁 I'm at home it's raining I was on my sofa with a coffee and my jojoba when I saw your notification !!! What a perfect sweet calm moment 🙏🏼😜 thank you 😉 Her hands are so beautiful and because of you delicate and classy 👍 Besos
Oh man! What a peaceful and lovely video. I stopped it momentarily so I could order the polish. Never thought I would do my own nails but your guidance has been just what I needed.
Your video is such a fresh breath of air, thank you so much for showing me exactly what I needed it. I used to love wearing colors on my nails when I was younger but I've come to a point in my life where I completely stopped using anything on my nails, I prefer seeing them naked. But this polish is something I never know I needed in my life, is what I've been missing for that something extra without being too much
Honestly, I’m reading your comment first thing after opening the YT app and you just made my day. I’m all about subtle beauty now. Natural looking but a little more. Thank you so much for taking time to write. I really appreciate it ❤️
i am loving this Manucurist Active line! i layer the Active Shine over the Active Bright and it is sooooo pretty! very fast and easy Glazed Donut combo.
Having cared for my nails for 50 years one is never too old to learn. You have taught me so much after suffering from awful ridges for 2 years and using the oils you recommend 5 weeks later i am almost back to ‘normal’ . I am very very grateful i just purchased your new nail kit thank you kindly, Jane ❤
Wanted to say just how amazing the audio mixing is? There’s a part where there’s the electric nail filer and so its audio goes down enough to be slightly quieter than the gentle music which is also a perfect volume. Just wanted to say how great it is to hear and see this! Good work
Her nails look so perfect. Oh my God that’s how I want my nails to look, but I want them to be longer, I realized that my toenails are incredibly strong and they don’t break as much but my nails are very weak and they bend a lot and crack a lot and I had a realization that it’s because of how much I wash my hands of course my feet don’t touch the water as much because I don’t need to wash my hands and water has made a lot more weak so I’m gonna start using gloves when I shower

Thanks so much for featuring the Manicurist Active line! I had not heard of it and ordered the full set after watching your last Active Shine video. They are such beautiful, minimal polishes.
Manicurist Active Shine is my favorite nail polish. I love how easy it is to apply and also how long it lasts (so far day 8 with no noticeable wear or chipping). Looking forward to trying Active glow raspberry next.
For natural looking everyday manicure would you pick manicurist active shine or Dior nail glow? If manicurist which one of them do you like the most? Thank you for all the content, I’m on a journey to save my nails thanks to you
I was quite ill earlier this year and you can see it in my nails so I’ve ordered this gorgeous shade to liven them up while I’m treating them to some tlc.xx
Just bought the Active Glow Raspberry last week, after watching you use it. The color after 2 coatings is very good, but I find the surface isn’t so durable. It looks like under some circumstances, even days after application, it will soften and imprint whatever’s on the surface. I’m tempted to finish it up with a layer of Mavala color fixing top-coat, for long-lasting shine and week-long durability 💅🏻✨
I recently purchased manicurist Active Glow , Green Base SOS, active smooth & Active bright! Love active bright! Used base, active smooth & mani really lasted! Will try active glow next & compare to Dior’s Nail Glow! ❤
As someone with short wide nail beds 🙄 I have observed that those with slender long nail beds always have nicer nails and can achieve the look of long nails much better.
Can you teach me how shape my nails? I’m trying to heal my damaged dip nails and hope to one day get natural almond shaped nails (dreaming) but would love to know what is best shape for my natural short nails
Beautiful. With using this brand weekly - I have not noticed any yellowing to the nail bed on your client. Is it because the polish is changed out weekly?
Thank you for all of this valuable information. I have a question having to do with pedicures. It’s not strictly about nails so I’m not sure if you would want to answer. My question is, as we start to do our own gentle pedicures, what is the best way to deal with calluses on our heels? What products and tools are best to use? Thanks!❤

Love it! I've noticed some folk tend to have straight nails whereas others sometimes have nails that are bent or curved on one side. Myself included, two of my nails or bent on one half although they are quite short. Have you discovered the cause for this? I'm worried it may be a sign I cut the nail too deep on one side which somehow caused a curve (inwardly). What do you think? Besides that I've implemented your nail advice and am loving the results so far. I've always had terrible skin around my nails (visibly white, dry, cracked/peeling, etc) and now for the first time they look pretty smooth. Thanks for your wonderful work!
I’ve seen 2 types of Manucurist: in green bottles which require a UV lamp but can be removed easily with the brand’s special polish remover and Manucurist in clear bottles where you can see the color. Is this just regular Manucurist? Do you have any idea if other shades will have a good durability on the nails? I’ve seen good reviews but not sure which to try🤔 Could you please make more videos about this brand, maybe in other shades🙏🙏🙏

@@leeniepielifts8806 yes I have it. I’ve never used it directly before polish. It’s a system where you use it for several days as a regime. Without nail polish so that’s why I thought it was interesting the way Anna used it.
Hello!! Would you please make a nail care video for us health workers 🙏 it‘s really hard to mantain nice nails because we need to wash so many times and wear gloves.
I carry a good lotion with me at work (cerave smoothing lotion with urea) and use it every time I wash and/or sanitise my hands. Whenever I'm at home I also use nail oil after each hand wash. My nails and the surrounding skin are very nice and the skin doesn't break at all. I hope more health care workers will understand the importance of caring for their hands in this rough environment.
Unfortunately, I just discovered that what I thought was my cuticle, is not. I have been cutting this fold with a tool sold as a cuticle trimmer. No longer!
My YT feed recommended a different nail channel's video and I was horrified that they removed that strip of skin on the proximal nail fold. I know you say not to do this, but I didn't know that it was being done with such confidence and such vigor by other manicurists. They were showing how to know if the removal was successful or not. Here's my question - what is the reason people want to remove that strip of living skin? (BTW, that manicurist did not believe it was living skin...and that it was the cuticle.)
Buffing doesn’t really seal the area. Abrading can’t seal. It’s just abraded very smooth. The skin fold can stretch when it’s stuck to the nail and pulled as the nail grows. When you keep the skin healthy and elastic and nudged back it will eventually shrink and there is nothing to cut. schoonscientific.com/2019/whats-new-nail-anatomy-latest-facts/
There is something that bothers me very much about my nails, and in fact I get bullied because of it. It is that there is darkening and weakness around the nail skin, as well as wrinkles, and my nails are very thin, so the appearance of my hands becomes disgusting and not beautiful.

She's only had it on twice, too soon to tell :)
The yellowing is not on the nail bed but on the nail plate. Nail bed is the skin under the nail plate.

Raspberry. The other one is too pink on me making the white looks odd.
