Hey, this is the second time I listened to this album from front to back this year 2020.
I've never listen to I See Stars before, but fuck I was missing out.
Listen to their "New Demons" album. You will love it.
All their other stuff is even better than this. Most would probably consider this to be their worst album. Your choice though!
My dad is currently dying in the hospital due to covid and this song specifically ia helping me tremendously.. thank you

Just finding these guys now....didnt realize metal and electronica have been blended so well already. I think its better with just the original lead singing both the scream and clean parts.

Hhaha I thought that at first too! It may actually be "lay it on me," but I didn't know if that made total sense. I will continue to edit it as I listen to it or if one of the creator's releases the intended lyrics (:

This album is incredible. I love the way the synths and electronic elements are put into the songs, the vocal performance is one of the best I've heard this year so far, all of the songs are incredibly catchy... Their best album for sure. I like it a lot more than New Demons.

I don't know why people hate them now. Treehouse is an amazing album.... I'm fan of their old stuff too but It's amazing how ISS found new direction & still kept a flow of their old style too. Worth the long long wait since New Demons
Waleed Bin Alim the new album is fucking amazing they are one of top bands thanks to tree house.

Their later stuff got a bit more hit or miss compared to their early stuff which was all bangers but yes Treehouse was a very solid album.
After their last two releases (new demons remixes, and phases) I am just happy to hear some new original music from this band. This is a true I See Stars album even if Zach is gone, people can complain all they want but it won't change a damn thing. Hope this music has inspired some of you to create your own works of art. I know it has done that for me :)

This is the most beautiful part about metal. All the elements you can infuse in one album is just abundant
I personally like this album more than new demons. I don't wanna get bashed for this. It's just my opinion. I love hearing how they change, and I just enjoy hearing some new music. It's more unique in my opinion
They do change their sound with every album, and i agree,in my opinion this might be the best album they've ever made, might need a month to sink this album in before i decide.

5-6 years later and this is still by far my favorite song from this band, I even love the acoustic version. Best album ever, has helped me get through some rough times when I've felt my lowest❤️❤️

I feel like this song and album cover are a reference to True Detective season 1
there’s not one song I skip when I listen to this album but this fucking song man, stands out way more than the others. Everything about this song is pieced together perfectly.
I feel like this song is either about creative differences between Devin and Zach and an inability to work it out OR a desire in Devin to continue to pursue this new style of ISS. No more "darkness," getting rid of the "what once was," and the passion to take chances; like he's asking for our opinions, if it's okay with us that he goes in this new direction, to "lay it on" him, if you will. Maybe I'm way off, who knows. But if this IS the case, then YES Devin, I think most of your fan base wants you to continue down this road. And this is coming from someone who first listened to them with New Demons, a dedicated follower of metalcore, and someone who thought the "electronicore" could only be successful if ISS wrote it. But this album...straying from this style is a blatant waste of some of the best musical talent and writing I've ever heard from a 21st century band. No exaggeration.

this sounds more like I see stars. idk I like the screaming and hard guitar they are so awesome putting the two types of music together but alot of tracks on this album are very different. still have alot love tho.
