This album aged extremely well. Nothing really sounded like this when it dropped and the fans didn't appreciate the change which is sad.. I loved New Demons when it dropped but Treehouse aged much much better as a sound then the dubstep/metalcore blend.

Yeah I honestly was lukewarm on this when it came out but it aged amazingly well.
@@WapoStudios I was pretty well into their New Demons record when this came out and this was a pretty wild one for me. It felt so different from everything else at the time and now it seems more bands have this style and these guys don't get any credit.

They used to be huge, but synthcore fell off pretty hard and since then have been just rolling on their popularity since then.

That note at 3:10... His vocals are so powerful, clean and controlled so well. He is such an amazing vocalist. I barely like any songs by these guys, but their talent to combine the music and mix everything in the way they do is outstanding. So talented.

Everyone going on about New Demons like it's the best thing since sliced bread. Yes, the album was great. Not every single album can be their "best". Personally I love all 3 of the songs they've released off the new album so far.

This band does things to my emotions that no other band has achieved.
I'll have to check out more of them then. But so far the best songs in this genre I have heard is Falling Behind by Dead by April, and Unleash the Archers - Abyss. Although that is the only song I like from Unleash so far. The music video is amazing as well.

They released two new songs recently. Neither of them come close to anything on treehouse but it's good that they're back.
I just realized this was directed by Brandon Bolmer, hats off to him. Illuminaudio was amazing. Hope to see some guest vocals in the future.

This song is amazing. I don't understand these assholes dissing the track. Not every song is going to have your perfect preference of vocals & instrumentals. The reason I See Stars is so great is because of how unique their music is. Not because it conforms to the typical standard of a 'good' metal song. This shit stands out. I guess some people don't like that. Can't wait to jam to the rest of the album 😁

Yeah this song is really great. People are going to have to get used to this sound, or find a new band to love. I See Stars, imo, is no longer post-hardcore or anything like that. They're something different, and I fucking love it. I caved in and listened to a leak of the whole album, and although it's not very heavy throughout, it's incredible. Trust me when I say that. It's going to be a great summer.
Imo Treehouse makes New Demons look like an experimental electronic album. Not saying New Demons wasn't good, New Demons is literally one of my favorite albums ever. But Treehouse is packed full of emotion; raw, and serious. New Demons was more about jamming to breakdowns and beats, which is good in another way.

regardless of what they have released in the past, or your preference of sounds by them, if you dont like this than you really arent a true fan. ive been with them since their first ep and i still love them. not every song is the greatest but it doesnt matter. as a whole they have been solid for a decade.

Everyone is so ignorant and stubborn towards change, yes imo from what I've heard so far It could be a bit heavier but at the end of the day fans forget bands don't make music specifically for the fans, they make their music for them. It's their art and they can do what they want with it, I respect that. Power to these guys.

Awesome. It seems like all of their new songs have become focused. Like no more random electronic beats that come out from nowhere. Their choruses are catchier now too. Each new song keeps making me think the other techno dude was a liability.

This song is freaking awesomeeeeee!!! It's classic I See Stars, guys are just being paranoid. Those who've been with them since 3-D will know what I'm saying. Break sounds like an extension of The End of The World Party which is their second ever album. Their transition from 3-D to The End of the world party was as a result of their trademark fusion of electronic music with metalcore/hardcore/post hard core heavy riffs. New Demons and Digital Renegade was the maturity of their electronicore style. Personally, I still believe they are playing just within their trademark style. Give them a break guys and savour this epic tune! I'm post-hardcore diehard and I couldn't stand 3-D btw. haha
I had never heard of this band before but after last night, seeing them preform at the 10 Years In The Black Tour, and meeting them after the show, I'm hooked!

The Vibe of the chorus gets me everytime. I get goosebumps every single time in the moment where the second chord from the refrain plays. The vocals compliment the guitars so much at that moment. It´s hard to explain, so I hope people will get what I wanted to say.

I love it! It shows their capability of different sounds... And it's ok to experiment lol so they can find out what suits them and so that they can grow as musicians.
Can't explain, but this is one of those songs that feel like home... Just max up the volume in your room and shout out lyrics from the top of your lungs... and feel nostalgic, kinda sad but happy at the same time.
