I loved that airplane when they first came out. I’d buy one if they were still available. That and the original Stryker!!!

Yep - they are great planes. I'll still have one I fly from time to time. It was the first RC airplane I ever flew 16 years ago! And I still love this type plane.
I hear Stevens Aeromodels has a very similar model - but it's wood...

Just finishing up my Stick. What power system did you decide to go with? Smooth, nice flying!

Thanks. Motor is a Scorpion SII-2215 1127KV, ESC is an Electrfly 25A or 35A (can't remember which but a 25 should work) and the prop is APC 10x4.7

@@thunker4603... Nice! To start, i'm going with an EMAX MT2213 935 kv, EMAX 20A BL Heli ESC, and 1300 mAh, swinging a 9x4.7 and/or 10x4.7. Later will go with recommended set up by GWS, 2s on a DYS SE2205 2300 kv, with prop swap from 5" to 9". See which one i like better. Hopefully it'll perform as elegantly as your creation! Great work! Happy flying, Brother!

@@michaelguillemette2230 I run a 3S 2200. This was my "learning" plane - and the first plane I ever had. I built it in 2008. It's been crashed, beat up and almost all the parts replaced at least once now.) I called one of the versions "Timex" because it took a lickin' and kept on tickin' ;) The tail waggle I was getting making the onboard views kind of shaky was due to a loose rudder. The tape was giving away.

@@thunker4603... Fantastic!! Great presentation! I always dig a rugged airframe! I see lots of modding potential here for sure. Gonna start out all stock, and go from there! I really like how the plastic parts bend so far (battery holder arms) before they luckily didn't snap LoL! Thanks for the inspiration! Happy flying, Friend! 👍
