God I hate school stereotypes ...
I was in the school jazz band and I used to sit on the same table with a marching band trombonist , a girl who likes emo fashion , a basketball player , a cheerleader , a boy who really likes chemistry and physics and another boy who really likes video games and they were nothing like the stereotypes . They were all unique people and they were my best friends . Infact the only reason why I went to school lunch is to meet those people . I rarely ate anything because I hated school food . I had to move into a different city tho . I miss those people

@@Tboid_the_Nerd Its just a shame that EG wasn't given a chance to really shine like its pony counterpart. Like instead of getting a legit TV series, it was relegated to online shorts that got little to no fanfare.
Even Winx Club was much better for the girl audience than (angrily clutching teeth) Bratz!!!! Lisa Fevral should have a conversation with Animat and discuss the 1st season of Winx and what the story is about.

I remember when I first heard that a Bratz live action movie was being made. I threw a fit and cried and actually wrote to MGA saying that they shouldn't make it. But did they listen? Nope.

At least that movie serves a purpose as a horror movie. And no, the final product is not meant to be a comedy, as even Jimmy himself says this in a disclaimer. He's even aware that it's kinda traumatizing. Anyway, it doesn't go out of its way to make all its characters into awful stereotypes or make a statement about being a dumb bimbo. At least it has the good sense to stay as a home media title. At least most of its fans know how scary it can be. At least it can appeal to those who are interested in the works of HP Lovecraft... and yes, I am one of those people, hehehehe. Anyone who is a fan of the Bratz movie is as out of touch as the movie itself, and I don't think this movie would have any with how it offends everyone.
Where the dead go to die isn't bad. Its okay or avrage. Bratz (from what I heard), is horrible.
@Mister Cheddar the first story did not have a good image. It was bad, condusing and just wanted to be edgy. The second story had an intresting concept and great world building, but too bad it left more questions then answers. The third story is the best, with a lot of character devolopment, characters that are both relateable and likeable and a powerful massage about child abuse and how love can develop an obsession. The animation is bad, but it has nice background and some intense action. And the characters, mostly, are well developed and likeable. If some of the previous stories wouldn't be that confusing, this would easily be a masterpiece. To bad though...

Because student body presidents do not have that power. Granted they don't have...ANY power to do the things Meredith does in this movie (actually they hardly have power at all), but if this film is going to have any logic it might as well be in the detail that student body presidents do not have the authority to expel anyone.
Maybe she could have framed them for tagging the school or smoking on school grounds or frame them for taking panty shots...or anything Yandere Chan would have done.

Foodfight! did better than WTDGTD by ONE point.
Foodfight got a 4/30 (Story-1/10; Animation-1/10; Characters-2/10) and WTDGTD got a 3/30 (1/10 in everything, which is the lowest Animat is allowed to go)
I remember when Bratz dolls were popular. I never understood why everyone liked them. They were more expensive than Barbie dolls and the quality of their clothes were rather poor. The only thing that I liked about them was that their shoes didn't come off easily. (My Barbies were constantly playing Cinderella.) But Mattel even beat them at that by making the My Scene dolls. They had shoes that didn't come off easily too, and with them if you did lose the shoes, the dolls still had feet like normal Barbie dolls.

I hated the Bratz as a kid, and I hate them even more now.
I don't like their designs and I don't like their motives at all. They've always had such a punchable face. As a kid, I felt so tempted to punch that Bratz pillow we had lying around (I think it's gone now) as well as tear the dangling feet from the pillow itself, all with a sick feeling lying inside of me.
I know everyone has their opinions and would bash on me for hating the Bratz so much, but I can be very VERY bias about certain things. This is one of them.
I will respect your opinions though, but there is no convincing me otherwise to like this franchise.

Actually, that would make for a pretty good movie. Some madwoman using fear and manipulation to control the status quo in her favor, only for the heroine to make things better and undo her plans. Oh wait, someone made that film already. It's called Zootopia, and it's actually really good. So this film is now even more worthless.
I actually used to love Bratz when I was a kid. And I saw this movie with my cousin.
However, last year, we going through the DVD box and looking for old nostalgic movies to watch (like Mulan, Cinderella.) , we found a bratz movie and the live action. We watched the movies and during the ENTIRE movies, We were just amazed on how bad it was. A lot of the characters were annoying, bratty, obnoxious, and are equally bad. I guess princess is ok... (That's explained my hatred toward Sasha and Chloe the most when I was young)
After it ended, we just looked at each other and said "Did we really used to enjoy this?" So we look deeper and found many bad movies. Like Hannah Montana, Barbie, the room, and one movie that talk about a rat looking after an ugly bird that turn out to be a swan in the end.
The awkward moment where you realize that AniMat is probably a better actor than most of the actors in this movie. I really hope that the people who are responsible for this movie watch this review.

As a Bratz kid (and a 18 year old virgin mind you, not a whore) the movie didn't even portray the girls themselves. Chloe? Not sports. More like her boyfriend and driving her car. Jade? Science? Fashion and her cat. Sasha? Cheering leading? Being a sassy black girl. And Yasmine? Being a dork. Yet the movie somehow contrived roles into something even worse. The animated movies were at least fun and relatively entertaining flashes to distract a young tike, but no, NO even as a brain dead child this was a damaging LULL.
Yeah! At least in the show they were a bit more fun. Like Chloe was a drama Queen and her rants were entertaining. Sasha was a control freak and would go off like a ticking time bomb. They didn't even have Burdine Maxwell! I have her catch-phrase stuck in my head. (Even though she was a blatant stab at Barbie) At least the one great thing Bratz did for me was made me a Wendie Malick fan.

I hate the Bratz franchise with a burning passion, but I for one would take the movie Bratz ANY FRICKEN DAY over the doll Bratz! Sorry for the rant, this is just my opinion.

Not only is this movie *bad*, but it's SO bad that it actually causes a reverse uncanny valley effect: I'm so used to seeing the Bratz as giant-headed alien babies with grotesquely exaggerated features that seeing them portrayed as real people is actually WEIRD to me....now what does that say about this franchise as a whole?
I actually loved the Bratz dolls when I was a kid, I kinda still have a soft spot for them, but I was a girl that grew up in the 90's/2000's.

Bratz maybe a bad movie. But it's not worse than Where the dead go to die.
Bratz at least didn't go into the animation department and filled it with uncanny creepy visuals. It's story was pretty much a awful rehash of most new girl high school stories. Also, it did remain a fair adaptation of the Bratz series considering the franchise is stereotyped that ways anyways. But it doesn't ignore that it's a shitty movie.
What makes Where the dead go to die a lot worse, is the visuals, the story is pretty scatter minded (Along with not starting with anything comprehensible or remotely human at the beginning through end), and get this everyone it's a "Crime" movie according to IMDB. Which I guess they're not wrong. The movie is a crime against humanity. Also I heard the movie was to quote what I have heard "A comedy". Idk how disturbing shit is "comedy", but I am fairly certain that 1. that's not how to do dark humor 2. Pretty sure the movie was meant to help the insane asylums get more patients in. Or a sign that the writer is actually insane himself and that was his "help me" card.
After analyzing some movies and hearing some thoughts. I feel like people would understand that if someone says [blank] is worse than Where the dead go to die, they'd probably haven't analyzed the former [blank] movie enough or maybe too much exaggeration was used in their wording.
Saro3964 There's a difference between being bad and being unwatchable. Where The Dead Go To Die at the very least has some substance to it. That why it's so hated, evil and nightmare-inducing. If you want something to scare the crap out of me, I'll watch that movie. This movie on the other hand is nothing. There is literally no reason to watch it, since it's, well, nothing. Another example I can give is that I'll take Norm of The North over The Emoji Movie anyway, even though the former is worse. That is because NOTN has some good YTP material in it and is fun to make fun of. Brats is worse than The Emoji Movie, but The Emoji Movie is much blander then NOTN
@@christopherwallace7903 There's something I personally hate about Norm of the North more than Emoji Movie. Yeah, they can both be insulting, but at least some parts of the latter has some care put into it. The real world animation seemed to push up its standards and it has some effort put into it in general. And at least Patrick Stewart's voice acting is still pleasent to listen to. Then we have Rob Schneider as a damn polar bear pushing an obnoxious environmental message. Even the uncanny villain had to remind us of its message by saying "we're rising faster than the ocean!" That and the animation didn't even have the good graces of having anyone who cared about it making everyone look embarassing and unnatural. And the characters... my goodness, the lemmings in particular. Not even Emoji Movie was that gross! I literally couldn't stand a single moment of Norm of the North. Alright, maybe whenever the lemmings get squished or shocked, then I'd be a bit satisfied.
You know what? I completely agree. "Where the Dead Go to Die" is worse than Bratz, to me, mostly because of the disturbing imagery. It's pretty much just like "A Serbian Film" in the form of animation, even though the live-action film pre-dates the animated film by two years, ("Where the Dead Go to Die" came out in 2012, and "A Serbian Film" came out in 2010) and I might consider "A Serbian Film" the only movie worse than "Where the Dead Go to Die", mostly because it's live-action, not animated (in CGI that probably wouldn't be acceptable in 1997, fifteen years before that film was released) and thus, makes the disturbing imagery even more disturbing. There's a reason why the 2010 film was banned in several countries.

@@christopherwallace7903 I agree. At least "Where the Dead Go to Die" has substance. If you want a movie to scare the crap out of you, this is the right one for you. And if you like it, then you like to be scared the crap out of, not freak at all. The person who calls you a freak are the REAL freak. And karma will come back to bite him in one way or another. That certainly happened with AniMat here. "Bratz the Movie" drove him to insanity, and he might live with that nightmare the rest of his life.

I have one Bratz book and 5 Bratz dolls
but the one doll was a Birthday gift from someone I don't see much and the other 4 and the book was a hand me down from a friend who moved away
heck I did play with the dolls, only for a small while, basically as my Barbies' teen daughters but I never read the book and instead donated it to my Mom's make shift library at her school
but I never saw the animated movies, cartoons or even the advertisements
and after watching this movie with the same friend who gave me the dolls......I'm.....glad I didn''t!
