My vision is Anna being the Genie's daughter, and he doubts that she's ready to have her own master, so they're fighting over Aladdin, so she can prove she's ready, and the Genie prove she can't. Could be a whole movie

I could see the ring genie being a less experienced genie which is why it’s not as powerful as the lamp genie and needing guidance by the lamp genie to get better and then at the end the ring genie takes everything it’s learned and helps Aladdin save the lamp genie from Jafar
I think Genie's daughter should be named Magie (Mă-gee) because it sounds like magic. But anyway I wish she was in the movie. It would be cute to have a father/daughter bond!

If Anna played the role of a female genie in an Aladdin remake which would include the original idea of having the Genie of the Ring alongside the Genie of the Lamp and this duet/duel happened, then a subtle way of hinting before the eventual reveal that she’s not as powerful as the Genie of the Lamp because she can only grant one wish where as he can grant three would be the “column A & B” moment. It would tie in with the lore that female Jinn speak only half truths and it would be a way for RG and Aladdin to have that in common aside from their good natures like GL and how those two can grow out of their character flaws as the story progressed. I only bring this up cause I can see that happening in the live action adaptation coming out soon at the time of this comment. Very well edited if I do say so myself.

My one, wait - two gripes with this is 1. that Anna's voice builds up a bit much because she wasn't planning on doing this one as a duet from the start. At the same time, it could be seen in-universe on how she's a totally different character from Genie, she is her own genie, just not a clone of him. So I'm willing to give it a free pass on that, since where Genie is cool, collected and experienced, Shenie (calling it now) is young, brash and eager to prove herself as a capable divine being by herself - as genies go. Unfortunately for her, that could mean the louder, the better. And seeing as how she's been stuck in there for ten thousand years, she hasn't had much influence save Genie (who is a bit of a loudmouth himself) to work on her act. 2. At 1:51, I mostly picture Shenie doing the 3 miles long part by herself. If that was a thing, this song would be perfect. That's all from Mr. Nitpick.

My one, wait - two gripes with this is 1. that Anna's voice builds up a bit much because she wasn't planning on doing this one as a duet from the start. At the same time, it could be seen in-universe on how she's a totally different character from Genie, she is her own genie, just not a clone of him. So I'm willing to give it a free pass on that, since where Genie is cool, collected and experienced, Shenie (calling it now) is young, brash and eager to prove herself as a capable divine being by herself - as genies go. Unfortunately for her, that could mean the louder, the better. And seeing as how she's been stuck in there for ten thousand years, she hasn't had much influence save Genie (who is a bit of a loudmouth himself) to work on her act.
2. At 1:51, I mostly picture Shenie doing the 3 miles long part by herself. If that was a thing, this song would be perfect.
