Roof garden looks lovely. I have a lot of green plants in my garden and just threw down some Black Eyed Susan seeds. It has grown and wound itself around string lights, bamboo and bird feeder and is still flowering. A really lovely pop of orange amongst the green
Everything looks wonderful; the roof garden is a slice of heaven! I would store the microwave in a cabinet or closet to ensure you won't need it later.🤗
I’d do some autumn planting particularly in the wicker basket. Cyclamen and Bellis daisies and underplant with crocus and Tête-à-tête daffodils. Heucheras are easy to care for and don’t die back in winter so a couple of those in pots will give you lovely foliage for the winter months and flowers in the summer.
Those two small stained glass windows in the roof garden would look lovely hung in the surround space you have just built. It does look so lovely up there now.
Hi Iwan.its 12:06 pm here in Northern California on Thursday and I’ve been hanging clothes and putting away washing as I watched you. The garden is lovely and with solar lights along your beautiful new high privacy fencing will add more ambiance. I do agree with you that you need coming taller in the corner without that chimney (I think that is what you called it), and you’d have more privacy yet. You’ll need something that accommodates full sun. There are some love tall grasses or a certain type of bamboo that is easy to grow in a pot . Something that is a see through plant that makes a nice sound when wind blows. Some sort of pollinators would be nice too that adds some color. The seating is perfect. I see you enjoy conversation and wine out there. I 😃 Love the colors in the loft and kitchen. Those shelves are very nice. Have a great day. ❤❤❤ the pumpkins and lights perfect Autumn touch.

The roof garden is lovely. I would use it as a place dedicated to relaxation. No work related activity just gentle thoughts and breathing the day away. Lights, Indian cushions and a warm throw for chilly evenings. Maybe a book and my crochet with the obligatory glass of wine. Whatever you choose may you always enjoy the space x
Good choice of colour and what a bargain you got with that tin of F&B paint! I'd be tempted to put a couple of standard bay trees in those corner planters with some pots if other herbs between them. That way you'll have a lovely sensory garden seating area. Perhaps some lavender plants too. Plants that offer all year greenery, such as the bay trees, and lovely scents. If you can get those barley twist standard bay trees even vetter as that adds a further, sculptural element. Looking forward to the kitchen reveal.

I am so excited your projects have come along so well. I have a few of my own wish list items I'll share that you may wish to explore. The roof garden is a dream! I imagine it will be cooler in the summer providing shade and warmer in the winter blocking wind! I like the lighting, and as spring comes, you may wish to upgrade after you've lived with it a while. There are lovely solar light kits that will hang from a center point and create a gazebo feel (like umbrella spokes) overhead that may be nice if you add an overhead pole or cable. Or, add lovely solar or candle chandelier (or, power, if you have it). Also, look into the sails or sun shade fabrics that you should easily be able to hook up to the corners for shade in the summer to beat the heat or to enjoy the outdoors on a nice rainy day. A small table to gather around ... I'm thinking one that has wheels that will roll in and out allowing everyone to pile in and out without upsetting the items on top (you won't have to lift or drag it risking fallout). I see a dumpster dive or boot sale bar cart with a flat top and a lower shelf in your future! Your natural pots on the back bench are so elegant with a Mediterranean flair! Stunning! Perhaps time will allow more of those to picked up for a bargain here and there! The color choices are all perfect ... maybe paint the storage box the same as the deck now that you have gone with the turquoise seating. Then, perhaps select or mix some if your F&B samples (exterior, of course) to paint any colored pots in earthy tones making a pleasing and cohesive palate. You could even paint the watering can to match the deck to disappear! Of course, avoid overdoing to the point of tacky, but nice mood lighting, protection from the elements, and a place to sit and enjoy with friends will make the investment so worth it! I am so proud of the investments into your home you have made this year. You've worked so hard, was recognized with your team with the awards, and you are traveling to beautiful places. I hope you get to enjoy the holidays now in your lovely home. You deserve every bit of this joy!

Then the seats would be great for you to put your feet up and lounge on, with a few throw cushions added (weather proof or just bring them in when it rains). Hang some lights or one or two lanterns n a couple of pictures too. Just a suggestion 😊

Suggestions - your stained glass window would make a great feature on the back trellis the sun will shine through creating an unusual light and pattern and the string lights could be fixed up as a canopy across the seating space, cosy☺️. I love your roof garden. The pumpkin display and lights make it very cosy and welcoming. You must check out the pumpkins in M&S. Some shapes and colours I've never seen before. They make a nice display on my dining table. One looks like a genie's hat! The shelves you've had built in the loft are a great idea and create such a useful space now. I do think they'd look great painted in the same green as the other walls. 😊

It def depends on how well they will do in bright sun. Most ferns prefer shade to partial shade.
