Your mum is gorgeous and so on the ball. My mum’s 92 although has Alzheimer’s with Dementia she’s lucky enough to be mobile, although slower and able to enjoy people watching, the young carers and a good joke. She has always liked to look smart and I always try to keep her smart with trousers/jeans with snazzy tops. So hard to keep track of her clothes in the care home plus they get washed and dried in industrial sized machines. I find for her Hotter shoes (if you can still get them) are stylish as well as comfy. Can imagine the story in A&E if you mum went off the chair ‘ well we were vlogging and mum was lifting her leg up and fell. Yes, she’s 93 but very nimble and flexible’😂😂
Haha, yes that would have been hilarious. I think that laundry in a care home is very difficult. I remember my sister having that problem with her mother in law's clothes. Very frustrating. xx

I’ve also been looking in charity shops obviously some are better than others , depending on the areas, but as you say we need to help the Hospices, they are so important. How lovely to be able to go shopping with mum…😊..some gorgeous purchases and definitely look great on mum. I volunteer in a local Hospice charity shop..please think about buying gifts from your local shops..some pre loved and new items to be had 😊
So happy to see your mum, and to realize how important " fit" is for her. She is not that long, so she reminds me of my mothers height firstly 5,1 but in the end 4,8. She was fussy, as hard that it was to find clothes that was good for her if something was 1 mm wrong, she refused the garment. I think this with people used to do their own clothes. The standard is higher for them. Thanks and give your mum a hug
We all think we're not gonna get old and ill, but we do. Our parents cant help it and you will remenber that when you do, so love them and take care of them while you can guys!!❤
Frister Rosman was my first ever sewing machine at 16 !! I was still using it 40 years later, never let me down. Then bought a more modern one, but the quality was wonderful. What a bargain with the cottons, and lovely to see your mum, you are so lucky to still have her, she is wonderful for her age, and so smart ! 😊

She had a visit to from a mobility advisor last week and was given a 3 wheel rollater and there been no stopping her since! . Aren’t we so lucky to still have our mums at our age? (I’m a bit older than you at 73)
