  • As soon as a saw this piece I knew the grain would be amazing once sanded, and it certainly didn't disappoint! English oak always looks fabulous when it has strong grain. The little vase was sanded to 7000 grit and finished with wood wax. Let me know what you think and what project you'd like to see next.
    Hope you enjoy/enjoyed, please consider liking and subscribing, even give the video a share if your up for it! Each project and video usually takes 10+ hours to finish, so your support is very much appreciated. More woodturning and woodworking projects will be on their way soon.

    I thought the piece that broke off would ruin it, but it gave it great character. Very nice. I aspire to create pieces like this.

    That’s beautiful as usual hairy. What kind of glue did you use to attach the tenant to your piece with?

    • @HarrySmithWoodturning
      @HarrySmithWoodturning  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you very much Steve! It was a 5 minute epoxy, I don't really trust PVA based wood glue when it comes to tenons attached like that. Also the epoxy is much quicker 😊👍

      Art. = Just like painting, sculpture, glass blowing, photography, watercolors, music, jewelry, stained glass and dozens of other crafts man has created, we each find our passion and preferences. As humans, we can also develop a sense of curtesy and restraint. And respect.
